This restaurant is wonderful. Food is made from scratch, staff is as kind as could be, and the manager is extremely welcoming. This was one of the best meals I've had in west palm and I highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food (at a price!) The boulvardier is so good and chicken and waffles 10/10!!! Definitely come by!!

Chicken Tenders, grilled wings, loaded steak fries, burnt ends, spinach dip!

Great ambiance, great food, great vibes! Danelle second to none! Good music, games on TV, moderate crowd.

This place was delicious! Went at a bit of an off peak time (4pm on a Thursday). Service was a bit slow but everything was so good. I will say they over charred the broccoli rabe but other than that, everything that we had was perfect. This place has a really cool interior and an extensive bar menu to match.

Our group came here for their HH 4-7pm. Half off their $14 drinks and lots of food options including $1 wings. We ordered 12 wings, egg rolls, pork and chicken sliders, their famous buttermilk biscuits. So flavorful! Shout out to the staff for their warm hospitality. Our waitress was attentive and it's not easy having outdoor tables. Josh the manager was incredibly friendly, he joked around with us and made us feel right at home.

I've been to this location twice and I'm always blown away, not just by the food, but the genuine hospitality. They let my doggies come in, which is always a bonus in my book. They will give you recommendations, and they don't disappoint! You need to have the chicken and waffles--incredibly flavorful. I don't let myself indulge in fried food very much these days, but this was worth trying. Try their in house non alcoholic drinks. I recommend the agua fresca! Leave room for dessert.

9/10 Pecan Crusted Rainbow Trout ($35 Special) Carolina Gold Rice, Grilled Asparagus, Bourbon Béarnaise

First time here at Batch. Usually I would go with a regular menu item but they had a special available- Pecan Crusted Rainbow Trout over Carolina Gold Rice, Grilled Asparagus and drizzled with a Bourbon Béarnaise. I went for it. Batch is a scratch kitchen. It's evident in their food that they take their craft and qualify seriously. The rainbow trout was $35. A little on the pricier side but boy, these were 2 huge trout filets over a generous pile of rice. The pecan crust was nutty and buttery. The trout was cooked beautifully and stayed very tender and moist. I loved it. The only thing I would do to improve this dish is consider putting it over risotto and the trout could have used a bit more salt to finish it. Service was great and attentive. We were asked if we were enjoying our meal by a couple different staff members. It was also a nice night so we sat outside on the patio. This was a little loud with the cars coming by on the street, so consider staying inside if you're easily bothered by loud souped-up cars. Of course, I only tried one meal, but I have a feeling you will not be disappointed here. Lots of variety on the menu and first impressions were very strong.

Batch was pretty good. The food was good, service was great and the ambiance was nice. The portions are big. My sister and I were able to share a chicken and waffle dish. Mimosas were great. I would definitely go back! My group and I sat outside therefore I didn't go inside but everything was good.

I had been eyeing this restaurant all week while I was in town. The day before I had to leave I was able to make it. I arrived about and hour or so before they closed but I was still greeted warmly and given a seat at a booth. I thought that the ambiance was really nice. It was dark and lighting was solid there was also blue lights which I thought was cool. The food was perfect to me. I'm originally from the South so my standards were high. I ordered a sweet tea which they didn't have but the gave me iced tea with simple syrup which was just as good. The crab cakes were great especially with the pepper and I believe orange that you can squeeze on top. The heat from the peppers was a nice combination. I also ordered the short ribs which were amazing. They were super tender and seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were great with catching the sauce and the crispy toppings provided a great crunch to change up the texture. Overall a great meal and i highly recommend anyone in the area to give it a try. I can't wait to go back if I'm back down that way.

We had an enjoyable evening with friends at Batch on Clematis Street. The area is decorated beautifully for the holidays and our company was the cherry on top. We arrived early and chose to sit outdoors as the weather was just right. Our server and trainee were prompt and we ordered drinks and appetizers from the happy hour menu. Our friends had been here before and told us of the happy hour menu selection. All together we tried about everything on it and it became our meal. I also ordered the Cobb Salad and it was a great choice as well. The menu included Deviled eggs, wings, fried green tomatoes, a smoked egg roll and choice of 3 different sliders. I especially loved my fried green tomatoes and others were very pleased with the wings and brisket sliders. And you really can't beat this pricing. Because it was early on a Monday eve we were able to find street parking nearby. The downside was a 2 hour limit so in order to stroll the area further we had to move our car to a space around the corner since the meters were set to allow only 2 hours per vehicle!! The restaurant was lively and the dinner menu had some great selections as well. We live a distance away but it will be a future stop when in the neighborhood.

Very good. Nice and lively place to visit with friends. After reading about the burnt ends, bacon, chick and waffles we had to try them all. Good choices. Friend got the shrimp and grits and was really pleased. Said he would get it again. Chick and waffles were definitely the hit of the night. Huge portion, big hit. Wouldn't change a thing. Def get that. We tried both bacon options and all agreed the bourbon spicy sweet was excellent. I'd skip the burnt ends next time. The 2 getting burgers at the table were both happy. One got the std medium well done and I thought it was dry, The other got the option with 2 kinds of cheese, cooked medium, and the difference was great. Huge amt of flavors and drippings. We would def go back for burgers and waffles, it is a happening place. It was xmas day when we went, it was not even half filled and after we ordered it was over 90 minutes until our food came. But it was xmas so we were understanding. Wait staff was great too. Very nice. Manager came by to ensure everything was ok. The small kale caesar was excellent, great taste and quite fresh. Anyway, check it out, it's great.

My fiancé and I love coming to Batch for date night. Danelle is an amazing asset to their team, she is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as we are always very hungry (and indecisive when it comes to ordering). The menu is incredible, but Danelle's service is even more so. We enjoyed the baby back ribs and strip steak as entrees, but kicked everything off with the best biscuits in town. My favorite dish by far are the smoked BBQ egg rolls. Unbelievably tasty starter! We also love the root beer made with Tahitian vanilla bean. One glass is never enough. I look forward to coming back next month for my birthday (a tradition started last year). Thank you Danelle for everything!

Batch is a scratch kitchen located on Clematis Street. We came here for happy hour. The drinks were incredible -- I had a Pecan Whiskey Sour, and my friend had the Blueberry Lemonade. The nuttiness of the Pecan Whiskey Sour gave it an interesting flavor profile, slightly medicinal but still enjoyable. The Blueberry Lemonade was refreshing and delicious. I ordered some happy hour bites: fried green tomatoes and wings. The happy hour bites were pretty average, but the standout was definitely the fried green tomatoes. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and enthusiastic about her customers, which is always a plus. Batch has an ample bar area, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, it's a nice restaurant in a perfect location.

Daniel M.

We visited Batch as a party of 5 on a Sunday evening. Traffic was light and parking was easy. It's still summertime though -- that'll change in December. Batch presents a Southern scratch-cooked menu within a cozy, modern and stylish ambience. I went with the Batch Burger with a house salad as a side. The vinaigrette mixed with the locally-sourced house salad was delish. It's worthy of giving this salad a better name. The Batch Burger was nicely stacked with lettuce, beefsteak tomato, whiskey-caramelized onion, aioli, smoked white cheddar, and pecan-whiskey candied bacon. Perfect with a light lager on draft. Definitely will return with my burgski partner-in-crime. The fried green tomato BLT caught my eye for future adventures.

First time there. Memorial Monday. Very busy place with a cool vibe. Great service. As for the food, I found it lacking in flavor. Deviled eggs were well presented great mouth feel, just no flavor. Perhaps a bit of salt and pepper would enhance this dish to the next level. I found this same issue with all the food. The waffle was over the top, very good flavor. Music was a bit loud for me but I'm old lol. All in all good experience. read more

A few of us traveling coworkers went after work one day. The happy hour is great. We enjoyed the food and drinks and it's a welcoming atmosphere. But our server who was really sweet just couldn't get it right. We ordered a few small plates to split and he needed to be reminded several times to bring them out... he charged an extra drink to the tab... one guy ordered a well done burger and it came out rare. Again, sweet kid but he was a mess. Good food and drinks though! I would go again. read more

The food was fantastic! They serve great appetizers and fun drinks and the music play list was nice too. The environment wasn't too hectic, but I'm giving 3 stars because the service wasn't too great and the the dining tables and chairs were super worn down. Excited to try their other location in Miami! We had such an awesome time after a terrible experience at Sourbon (don't recommend, don't waste your money btw). Ty e were seated right away and within minutes greeted by an amazing waitress that had such awesome energy. She also played bartender but still had time to tend to us and was very attentive! The drinks were phenomenal and the food so good and tasty. Started with old fashion which was made perfectly with 1 ice cube. For appetizer we had burnt ends, cornbread and biscuits - and it was so tasty. Had the fried chicken and waffles for dinner. Honey and Jam pairs very well together. Chicken fried to perfection and tasty. My friend had the shrimp and grits - no complaints. Also had the steak and mash potatoes and the bday girl loved the garlic mashed. Compliments to the chef! Great place wish you all much continued success! Compliments to the bartender/waitress - we loved her and thank you for turning a terrible night to an awesome memorable one. read more

Terrible service, expensive, pretentious, & they confusingly discourage customers who've had bad experiences from ever returning. I do not want to go into too much detail, thereby providing free consulting services to this business (which has potential) & allowing them to profit off my suffering, but until they decide to put the customer's experience above their own convenience, I will gladly spend my money elsewhere & enjoy some of the myriad other restaurants downtown WPB has to offer. Ate there for Thanksgiving and loved it! Service was warm , friendly , attentive and knowledgeable. Place is adorable with great ambience for any gathering. Drink menu is huge and awesome, wish I could've tried more but loved my Southern Mule. My friend (from Kentucky!) had the turkey and I had the jackfruit pulled "pork" sandwich with fries. It was superb and it's SUPER refreshing to see several awesome vegan and vegetarian options on 1 menu! Then ,we wanted to try the cornbread. Let's just say , even after eating, I was scraping the bottom of the cast iron skillet it's served in for every last crumb! To die for!! Highly recommend ! Had the Jack fruit bbq sandwich and greens, it was soooo delicious! The avocado toast is overpriced and dry. The waffles were "bussin," as the gen-z kids say. It was a loud and bar like ambiance. Had to yell to have conversations at 6pm. Not the best option to take a family but the high top high chairs were nice to have. It took longer to get our menus and the female management only asked my husband if he needed anything else. Which was a WTH moment for me and the kids. We didn't have our water glasses filled until we were packing up to leave. So besides that one server's ingrained misogyny and lack of attentiveness to the whole group, as well as the hit or miss food... this place is a solid 3 stars. It could definitely improve. read more

Service was excellent! Drinks were great but on the pricey side. The tator tots were by far the best I have ever had. They had run out of biscuits on a Saturday night ( biscuit appetizer unavailable as well as the pot pies). Food was mediocre: I ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken was excellent but the waffles were soggy and weren't tasty (even after adding honey and butter). My husband ordered mac and cheese with shrimp. The shrimp was delicious but the mac and cheese was mediocre. Whoopie pies were awful. We both took one bite and asked for a to go box. The peanut butter filling was good, however the chocolate cake tasted more like old bland bread. For the price of the main course I would have expected the food to be much better. I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.

Wow--what a fantastic birthday celebration we had at Batch Southern Kitchen on Clematis in West Palm Beach! We came with a large group of ladies (and even some of our little ones), and the entire experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was upbeat, happening, and full of energy with great music and a fun atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious--especially the shrimp and grits--and the bottomless drink option made the afternoon feel like a true celebration. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A huge shoutout to Jordan, the manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and special. He was so accommodating and attentive, making sure every detail was just right. The bartenders who helped us while we were waiting and the entire service team were equally fantastic--friendly, welcoming, and quick with everything we needed. Our server was pleasant, efficient and patient! She was great ! The space itself was fun, clean and inviting, and despite having both a big group of adults and small children, we felt completely at ease. It's rare to find a place that's both lively and family-friendly, but Batch managed to make it feel effortless. Overall, it was a lighthearted, joyful, and truly memorable day celebrating our girlfriend's birthday. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend this gem in downtown West Palm Beach for anyone looking for amazing food, a vibrant atmosphere, and top-notch hospitality. Thank you so much read more

During my childhood, one of my favorite cereal box characters would enticingly say "follow your nose." As soon as you walk into Batch, you will be enticed by the wafts of cinnamon and deliciousness that the kitchen is preparing. Batch is a charming southern style restaurant with a modern appeal. It's reminiscent of foodie towns like Greenville, SC. You can expect to find classic southern recipes that have been reinvented by the chef to appeal to a generation of people who demand a bit more from their brunches, lunches, and dinners. They even make their own version of cinnamon whisky. They offer a beautiful selection of alcohol including some decent scotch and bourbon as well as all the things you'd want to drink on a hot summer day. I also decided to try the black truffle macaroni and cheese which comes piping hot with lots of gooey cheese and a giant spoon so you can shovel it in. I loved it. The atmosphere is the right balance of fun and relaxed. The service is energetic and engaging meaning they didn't hover, the other servers looked out for patrons who didn't belong to them when the other was busy. I admire this kind of teamwork. They seem to understand that one diner's positive experience means more overall business as opposed to the one tip at a time mentality. I highly recommend putting Batch on your list to try. I'm definitely going back when I can! read more

Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap offers a remarkable dining experience, highlighted by a genuinely warm and down-to-earth customer service provided by both the host and servers. Throughout my meal, my server consistently ensured my satisfaction and comfort. The Mac attack with smoked shrimp was a flavor-packed delight. The lemon drop martini was also delicious. I paired the martini with their discounted Grey Goose they offer on Mondays, it was a refreshing choice. The attention to detail extends to the ladies' room, which was impeccably clean and adorned with pleasant scented candles. Overall, this Southern-style restaurant is highly recommended for its exceptional service, delectable food, and inviting ambiance. I look forward to returning for another memorable experience. read more

I was in WPB for a friends reunion so I was good and tequila'd up the night before so I was looking for some filling before I caught my flight back to Philly. I stumbled upon this place while walking down Clematis and I will say that it is one of the best finds in my history of finds. The vibe was nothing short of amazing with everyone having a good time and friendly. The music was loud but on point so I'll forgive lol. They did a fantastic job with the decor and lighting as well, as I always feel comfortable and unhurried here. The food is excellent. We enjoyed a brick chicken and fish of the day entree on our last visit, proceeded by a handful of appetizers (try the ahi tuna cones) and followed with dessert (Mississippi mud pie was phenomenal),

It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

I took a seat at the end of the empty bar and waited for a bartender. I was greeted quickly and offered a lunch and cocktail menu. However, I had to ask for the Happy Hour Menu (I arrived at 1:13pm). Not sure if this is a standard practice or if the bartender truly had just lost track of time. After perusing the happy hour menu (all items listed are $10) I decided on the Citrus Mojito, the Wagyu Steak Skewer, the Beef Cheek Empanada and the Lobster Bisque Shooter. The mojito was GOOD. Very refreshing, not too sweet, yet still light and flavorful. I felt good after one. The Wagyu Steak Skewer was the most UNDERWHELMING choice of the afternoon. Thick cut of meat, salted nicely, but if you don't like your cow still mooing don't order! I did not get a choice in temperature. It wasn't a huge deterrent for me but definitely could be unsettling for others. The Beef Cheek Empanada was my favorite bite of the afternoon. My only complaint is that you only get one per order lol. Flakey crust. Filled with nicely seasoned beef. 10/10! The Lobster Bisque Shooter has great potential, but today, was poorly executed. The lobster bisque itself is exceptionally flavorful, but terribly salty. It doesn't help that the cheese in the grilled cheese sandwich adds a layer of salt, that in conjunction with the soup, just ultimately cripples the dish. Any happy hour downtown with a $10 drink option is a gem in itself, but I would certainly return for the empanadas.

Overall, it's a chill vibe and a nice spot to unwind after a long workday. The food has been good every time. I've tried the bone marrow, tuna poke, general tso's cauliflower, Korean ribs, empanadas, guacamole and more. Almost all that shit comes in small portions, but it's good. On company dime, order two servings lol you gon need to order a few things if you're hungry. The drinks were good, too. They weren't super strong during happy hour, but at least I could taste the licka! We'll take that over paying for a cup of juice! My biggest complaint is the bathroom. Chile, those stalls are small. You can barely close the door without almost practically touching the commode. Eek! Overall, it's a good happy hour spot with tasty food and drinks, but expect small portions and prepare yourself for the bathroom situation. The bartender, didn't catch his name, was cool too on our last visit!

The mushrooms had such a great variety and were served with chestnut, black trumpet, golden oyster, fingerling potato, English pea, and heirloom tomato. The picanha with chimichurri risotto and charred corn rib was also amazing. Our group also tried the braised Akaushi ravioli (which was on the special menu and had a sweet pea and brown butter mushroom glaze), the chicken fried rice, local swordfish, and the black garlic dry-aged NY strip. Everything was really well done. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the ingredients and presentation. The drinks were also great and paired perfectly with dinner. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has such a cool atmosphere. There's an art gallery inside the dining room, and I loved the open-air kitchen where you can see everything happening. They also have a really nice patio outside. It was hot and raining when we went, so we didn't sit out there, but I would definitely love to come back and enjoy the patio another time! We were celebrating a birthday, and Cody, the GM, and Rosa, our server, were both fantastic and really made our night. They both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and so helpful when we were deciding what to order. It really felt like an elevated experience. They even brought out dessert for the birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch! Between the food, drinks, beautiful space, and amazing service, we had such a great experience and i will absolutely be coming back!!

What I love is that they use Wagyu beef and pork from their own ranch, Rancher's Reserve, and partner with local Florida farms and they offer a true southern hospitality. Check out their other location called the Steak shop off of Dixie Hwy. The service and atmosphere were Exceptional. Shoutout to Cody and our waiter for being so welcoming, patient, and sharing the history of the ranch. Now here's what we ordered: Akaushi Hanger Steak: Served with truffle crema, cowboy butter, and tallow-cooked sweet potato frites that melt in your mouth. Crispy, buttery, and the best sweet potatoes ever. I'd return just for this! Berkshire Rib Chop: My husband swapped the broccolini for an assorted carrots with apricot purée, wood-fired onion, and black garlic molasses. We are picky with steak temperatures and had to send ours back, but our waiter (wish I could remember his name) he was amazing and had it remade exactly right. Everything was seasoned perfectly! Carrot Cake: We took it to go and it was still delicious two days later. Truly the best we've ever had! We will definitely be back! Wishing them tons of success.
