It had been a while but we returned. I will say overall the experience was much better. I still think there is a lot of room for improvement. I love good barbecue and when I saw burnt ends I was excited to have it. I have to say it was a disappointment for sure. By definition, they are supposed to be the ends of the brisket and crispy. These tasted ok but were more fatty middle. The biscuits again were very good but way overpriced for what you get. I tried the pecan flavored whiskey who's I liked but was a little too sweet. So overall I would say not bad but I'm not rushing back. The staff was much better this time. read more

I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.

Wow--what a fantastic birthday celebration we had at Batch Southern Kitchen on Clematis in West Palm Beach! We came with a large group of ladies (and even some of our little ones), and the entire experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was upbeat, happening, and full of energy with great music and a fun atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious--especially the shrimp and grits--and the bottomless drink option made the afternoon feel like a true celebration. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A huge shoutout to Jordan, the manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and special. He was so accommodating and attentive, making sure every detail was just right. The bartenders who helped us while we were waiting and the entire service team were equally fantastic--friendly, welcoming, and quick with everything we needed. Our server was pleasant, efficient and patient! She was great ! The space itself was fun, clean and inviting, and despite having both a big group of adults and small children, we felt completely at ease. It's rare to find a place that's both lively and family-friendly, but Batch managed to make it feel effortless. Overall, it was a lighthearted, joyful, and truly memorable day celebrating our girlfriend's birthday. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend this gem in downtown West Palm Beach for anyone looking for amazing food, a vibrant atmosphere, and top-notch hospitality. Thank you so much read more

During my childhood, one of my favorite cereal box characters would enticingly say "follow your nose." As soon as you walk into Batch, you will be enticed by the wafts of cinnamon and deliciousness that the kitchen is preparing. Batch is a charming southern style restaurant with a modern appeal. It's reminiscent of foodie towns like Greenville, SC. You can expect to find classic southern recipes that have been reinvented by the chef to appeal to a generation of people who demand a bit more from their brunches, lunches, and dinners. They even make their own version of cinnamon whisky. They offer a beautiful selection of alcohol including some decent scotch and bourbon as well as all the things you'd want to drink on a hot summer day. I also decided to try the black truffle macaroni and cheese which comes piping hot with lots of gooey cheese and a giant spoon so you can shovel it in. I loved it. The atmosphere is the right balance of fun and relaxed. The service is energetic and engaging meaning they didn't hover, the other servers looked out for patrons who didn't belong to them when the other was busy. I admire this kind of teamwork. They seem to understand that one diner's positive experience means more overall business as opposed to the one tip at a time mentality. I highly recommend putting Batch on your list to try. I'm definitely going back when I can! read more

Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap offers a remarkable dining experience, highlighted by a genuinely warm and down-to-earth customer service provided by both the host and servers. Throughout my meal, my server consistently ensured my satisfaction and comfort. The Mac attack with smoked shrimp was a flavor-packed delight. The lemon drop martini was also delicious. I paired the martini with their discounted Grey Goose they offer on Mondays, it was a refreshing choice. The attention to detail extends to the ladies' room, which was impeccably clean and adorned with pleasant scented candles. Overall, this Southern-style restaurant is highly recommended for its exceptional service, delectable food, and inviting ambiance. I was in WPB for a friends reunion so I was good and tequila'd up the night before so I was looking for some filling before I caught my flight back to Philly. I stumbled upon this place while walking down Clematis and I will say that it is one of the best finds in my history of finds. The vibe was nothing short of amazing with everyone having a good time and friendly. The music was loud but on point so I'll forgive lol. Then the barmaid came who was the nicest of barmaids and made some recommendations. I had the bacon Bloody Mary and the chicken waffles grits. The food was not unlike the environment. If you're craving true Southern comfort with a modern twist, this is the spot. I'll definitely be back! read more

Batch Southern Kitchen is an exceptional venue that I frequently choose for my events, and it never disappoints. Danielle and Andrew, my absolute favorites, consistently go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Their dedication and attention to detail are unmatched. The food is always fantastic, boasting rich Southern flavors that leave guests raving long after the event. Enjoyed the food and our waiter. Hostess girl was super rude when we asked to turn down a/c or close the door so it cools off in the restaurant. Their own waitstaff were sweating profusely. She said in her snottiest voice, "I don't know what you want me to do, it's Florida...it's hot." Also witness a guy and girl jerking each other off at the bar with no interventions. Not sure we will go back after seeing people allowed to carry on like that in an eatery. Keeping it classy WPB! read more

I brought my mom here for mother's day brunch as it was our first time here and it was much better then expected. Our server Joseph was very sweet and attentive despite how busy they were, he recommended I get the southern crispy chicken breakfast and it was amazing. It was full of flavor and honestly one of the best brunch restaurants i've ate at in a while. My mother got the steak and eggs and that was also just as great. Definitely recommend if your in the area. read more

¡Tengo muchas ganas de volver a otro brunch dominical! read more

We stopped by for an impromptu brunch, and it ended up being one of the best decisions! Everything was amazing from start to finish. Andrew was such a fantastic server--friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Chef Eddie absolutely knocked it out of the park with the food! We can't wait to come back for their Beach Brunch. The Saturday atmosphere was so fun, lively, and full of great vibes. Highly recommend checking this place out! read more

They were very busy but we were able to find seats at the bar! Drinks were delicious, we had a great bartender who took care of us. The devil eggs appetizer was pretty good, could be a little more flavorful but still good overall. The chicken and waffles dish was really good. We did one of the mac and cheese dishes, and added pork belly and blackened shrimp. It was just ok, needed more cheese sauce and flavor! read more

This place was hopping when we made it to the bar Danielle immediately greeted us with a smile and took care of us right away. But her great service didn't end there I tell you this girl was like a magician not only handling the crowd like a pro but always made sure we were taken care off! Danielle definitely made our night better after a bad experience at another bar down the street that same night . read more

I highly recommend this restaurant! It's the perfect Brunch spot! The music was blasting and the drinks were flowing, and the food was everything! I ordered the crab cake Benedict with refried tomato and hollandaise sauce, and it was really good. For a second entree I ordered the shrimp and grits, and for dessert I had the cinnamon bun. All in all, the food, service, and vibe were a 10 out of 10. read more

Chicken and waffles are very much recommended the waffles are made with corn they're to die for! Also make the chicken Nashville hot and no, it's not really that hot I don't like super spicy food but this level of spicy was just perfect. Beer on tap is great but I wish they only have about seven beers on tap and they had ran out of two of them. The appetizer tots are also amazing. read more

They did a fantastic job with the decor and lighting as well, as I always feel comfortable and unhurried here. The food is excellent. It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

I took a seat at the end of the empty bar and waited for a bartender. I was greeted quickly and offered a lunch and cocktail menu. However, I had to ask for the Happy Hour Menu (I arrived at 1:13pm). Not sure if this is a standard practice or if the bartender truly had just lost track of time. After perusing the happy hour menu (all items listed are $10) I decided on the Citrus Mojito, the Wagyu Steak Skewer, the Beef Cheek Empanada and the Lobster Bisque Shooter. The mojito was GOOD. Very refreshing, not too sweet, yet still light and flavorful. I felt good after one. The Wagyu Steak Skewer was the most UNDERWHELMING choice of the afternoon. Thick cut of meat, salted nicely, but if you don't like your cow still mooing don't order! I did not get a choice in temperature. It wasn't a huge deterrent for me but definitely could be unsettling for others. The Beef Cheek Empanada was my favorite bite of the afternoon. My only complaint is that you only get one per order lol. Flakey crust. Filled with nicely seasoned beef. 10/10! The Lobster Bisque Shooter has great potential, but today, was poorly executed. The lobster bisque itself is exceptionally flavorful, but terribly salty. It doesn't help that the cheese in the grilled cheese sandwich adds a layer of salt, that in conjunction with the soup, just ultimately cripples the dish. Any happy hour downtown with a $10 drink option is a gem in itself, but I would certainly return for the empanadas.

Overall, it's a chill vibe and a nice spot to unwind after a long workday. The food has been good every time. I've tried the bone marrow, tuna poke, general tso's cauliflower, Korean ribs, empanadas, guacamole and more. Almost all that shit comes in small portions, but it's good. On company dime, order two servings lol you gon need to order a few things if you're hungry. The drinks were good, too. They weren't super strong during happy hour, but at least I could taste the licka! We'll take that over paying for a cup of juice! My biggest complaint is the bathroom. Chile, those stalls are small. You can barely close the door without almost practically touching the commode. Eek! Overall, it's a good happy hour spot with tasty food and drinks, but expect small portions and prepare yourself for the bathroom situation. The bartender, didn't catch his name, was cool too on our last visit!

The mushrooms had such a great variety and were served with chestnut, black trumpet, golden oyster, fingerling potato, English pea, and heirloom tomato. The picanha with chimichurri risotto and charred corn rib was also amazing. Our group also tried the braised Akaushi ravioli (which was on the special menu and had a sweet pea and brown butter mushroom glaze), the chicken fried rice, local swordfish, and the black garlic dry-aged NY strip. Everything was really well done. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the ingredients and presentation. The drinks were also great and paired perfectly with dinner. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has such a cool atmosphere. There's an art gallery inside the dining room, and I loved the open-air kitchen where you can see everything happening. They also have a really nice patio outside. It was hot and raining when we went, so we didn't sit out there, but I would definitely love to come back and enjoy the patio another time! We were celebrating a birthday, and Cody, the GM, and Rosa, our server, were both fantastic and really made our night. They both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and so helpful when we were deciding what to order. It really felt like an elevated experience. Shoutout to Cody and our waiter for being so welcoming, patient, and sharing the history of the ranch. Now here's what we ordered: Akaushi Hanger Steak: Served with truffle crema, cowboy butter, and tallow-cooked sweet potato frites that melt in your mouth. Crispy, buttery, and the best sweet potatoes ever. I'd return just for this! Berkshire Rib Chop: My husband swapped the broccolini for an assorted carrots with apricot purée, wood-fired onion, and black garlic molasses. We are picky with steak temperatures and had to send ours back, but our waiter (wish I could remember his name) he was amazing and had it remade exactly right. Everything was seasoned perfectly! Carrot Cake: We took it to go and it was still delicious two days later. Truly the best we've ever had! We will definitely be back! Wishing them tons of success.
