Warehouse 345 is technically one of the Amazon cafeterias on the SLU campus. But unlike other…read morecorporate cafeterias, this one is open to the public as it doesn't require badge access to enter. The food isn't subsidized, so the pricing is comparable to outside eateries. Their offerings include salads, soups and hot entrees which are priced under $10. This eatery is located next to Zoka in the Dawson building. Walk further down the hall until you see the entrance to this cafeteria. Typically you will find a line at the entrance. This is not the line to enter, but rather the line to order a salad which is arguably the most popular option. If you want a soup or hot meal, walk past this line to head inside. I have only gotten the hot meals here and I found them to be average in every way. Price, portion and taste. I feel like I get shortchanged buying the hot meals here since it only includes the entree and a side like rice or beans so the takeout box feels a little light. If you want veggies, you have to pay more for that. Given that there are so many options in SLU including food trucks and restaurants, eating here is purely out of convenience. The cafeteria is a half block away from where I work so it is a nearby option when I don't have a lot of time to eat. Otherwise I would usually opt for a food truck instead. It is a nice place to dine with co-workers since the dining room is quite large. It gets pretty full during the lunch hour so it may be tough to get a table, but usually there are counter seats available here. Overall, Warehouse 345 is fine. I like that it is close to my office, but I prefer to eat elsewhere if I have the time since the fare here isn't very appealing to me.

The food is fresh and well prepared. It is simple. The options constantly repeat with a rare change in the deli section. There's also sections for soup, garden salad, grab-n-go, gelato, and pizza/Asian/chicken. You also have the option to order a salad ahead of time. They also offer breakfast. The employees are what really shine here. They are funny, interested in you, helpful, and fast. Food: 3 Service: 5 Ambiance: 3 Parking: 1

At today's restaurant prices when you splurge on a nice dinner you really want it to be an experience. Russell's delivered in every respect. Although it is located adjacent to a business park you feel like you're in a small town rural setting. Our server was wonderful. He was equal parts host, advisor, comedian, and server. His skill added to the experience, without being intrusive. Cocktails were delightful. One Laphroaig with a big cube, one Huckleberry cosmo. Dinner was a split beet salad, one ribeye done medium rare, and one rack of lamb also done medium rare. Both were perfect, the salad was the great starter. For a complete dinner experience Russell's is a fantastic option.

Interesting story there with the wines/owners that I'll spare you - but to the event. Wine was flowing and overall tasty. As with any tasting, some are to your taste, some aren't. The food overall also was good! Nitpicking we were less than impressed with the rissoto and a couple other small things - but considering they were catering for 100 folks and still running normal service downstairs it was pretty good! That ganache tart was killer. Would love to come back for regular dinner and see how they really shine. 8/10 will return

As said the service was fine but the food - hearth roasted mushroom frittata and breakfast burrito - was decidedly bland and under seasoned. Frittata was covered with an excessive mound of arugula. While peppery, it's asking a lot of arugula to carry/cover for a bland unseasoned water bath baked egg concoction with minimal caramelized onions and flavorless mushrooms. Desperately needs some herbs, garlic or strong cheese, some crisp edges... something. A side of chicken apple sausage was just okay. Breakfast burrito was disappointing in its own ways. Tortilla was gelatinously clinging together as if it had been prepared in advance, then reheated, and covered in what was called salsa but was more akin to basic excessively mild tomato enchilada sauce. The carnitas pork was unseasoned and dry. Potatoes were soft and lacking a crisp element that would have helped immensely. The only place salt seemed to show up was in the salted maple latte and in that it was a bit heavy. Likely not stopping back anytime soon.
