A new food hall that opened a few months ago at Microsoft's East Campus. A good range of cuisine with vegetarian-friendly options is offered, including American, Asian, Mexican, and Mediterranean. The interior design is modern and welcoming, and there is an outdoor patio as well.
I decided to order from the Pacific Rim station. For the entrée, I chose Thai Chicken Fried Rice: rice stir-fried with chicken, veggies, egg, soy sauce and scallions ($7.99), along with Honey Walnut Prawns ($4) as a side.
The fried rice was well-balanced in soy sauce flavor and not overwhelmingly oily or salty. Chicken pieces were coated in a thin batter and tender. As for the prawns, they were crispy and lightly coated in dressing so it was not too sweet or heavy.
One of the nicer Microsoft cafeterias that I have visited, and would be inclined to return to try the other stations. The falafel bowl from the Mediterranean station looked quite tasty as I walked by afterwards. read more
