My wife and I went to choose a cake for a birthday party 2 days ago and the manager and cake maker (didn't get his name) was so helpful in picking out a custom ordered cake for 12 people. We chose our ice cream flavor and decoration and it came out exactly how we ordered it. When I went to pick it up today, Sunday, it was ready when they opened at 10 am. The same guy got the cake and skillfully wrote on it with speed and perfection. We also got some ice cream when we ordered the cake and I got a scoop of mango yogurt instead of my usual mint chip. It was very smooth and creamy and delicious and less calories. Hopefully Yelp readers will keep this place busy and profitable. There aren't too many places left that will do great ice cream cakes. This morning after the gym, I helped myself to a double scoop chocolate waffle cone. It was awesome. It's so great having Baskin Robbins close to my house. I absolutely love their ice cream!! The shop is small with 3 tables and about 12 chairs. When it gets busy, you'll be waiting outside the door. The parking lot is also small and shares it with other businesses in the area. My most favorite flavor is Pralines & Cream!! My number one ice cream flavor and what I always get. My second favorite is the Blueberry Cheesecake!! This flavor is awesome!! If you haven't tried it, you must!! They don't always have this flavor so get it while you can. My boyfriends favorite is the Macadamia Nuts & Cream and it is great! I always go with the waffle cone and lately it's been free! Which is a major bonus because I surely love my waffle cone!! The customer service is alright. Not the best but they are nice. Just as you'd expect, when they're busy it gets busy where some workers are not pleasant. I ordered my birthday cake from here. When I called, the person didn't really know much. But later that same day, I went in and I got so lucky that the cake decorator was actually there! I ordered a chocolate rectangular sheet cake with 1/2 jamocha almond fudge and 1/2 mint chocolate chip ice cream. I ordered the finding Nemo theme. They did this for me in less than 12 hours, so they didn't have the Nemo toys in this particular store. I am more than okay with that because I really waited til the last minute to order a cake. So if you want the toys with a design, call and ask how much time they need to get the toys. Since I am not a kid, but I LOVE the OCEAN, I picked the Nemo design. Since they didn't have the fish toy, I asked the girl to draw fish with the icing and she did. She said she worried the fish would be ugly, but I told her no worries cuz I'd be happy with fish shapes. So if you're picky, give them more time than I gave them and get the toys. I have always loved Baskin Robins as a child and was happy to see one within my neighborhood. But I was disappointed to find out that an employee had charged me twice in that same time period. I was also disappointed when I called the location and told them what happened they never got back to me; after telling me they would. Customer service is sadly lacking and so it appears is their honesty - they told me one thing and didn't do it. I have to say - make sure you double check your bank accounts or charge cards or else you may get charged twice and cheated out of your hard earned money. If my experience had been with only by myself and not three people total then I could probably easily ignore this outrage. While their selection has a variety of choices and their options are good - I doubt I will be able to ever go to a Baskin Robins again. Whether they are a franchise or not. I'm still disgusted by the fact the owner never called me - not once in the whole exchange. By the way for certain banks (like mine), you have to speak to the store or location in order to get refunded the amount. The banks can't really help you, which yes, sucks. read more

Chain ice cream is chain ice cream, I would obviously prefer homemade ice cream, but for a quick fix, Baskin-Robbins is okay. The only thing that bothered me about my most recent trip was that my father got a Jamoca (he meant to say Jamoca Almond Fudge) and when he apologized and asked for Jamoca Almond Fudge (after putting the ice cream like 1 inch from his lips), the server just dumped the scoop back into the bin. Went here on October 31 for the $1.31 scoop. This is the second time we went on the 31st for this special. The parking lot is usually full but there is street parking easily available close by. Both times the line is out the door but they had 3 staff working so the line moves fast I love Gold Medal Ribbon, my favorite flavor since I was a kid. I enjoy this location as the seating area is clean, the parking is plentiful, and the ice cream is a flowing. Upon walking in the staff greeted us with a genuine hello and were very attentive throughout the extremely difficult and tedious decision making process. They offer free samples of however many flavors you would like. Try not to take too many samples As you may not have room for the real deal meal. I brought my friend Kristie M. And she is lactose intolerant. So one drawback to this location is there is no public restroom. Luckily for her there is a school with a field located directly across from this location.
