If I already paid enough to qualify for the dozen pricing, why wouldn't the employee explain it beforehand or simply honor it when I asked immediately afterward? Instead, I was told only after the transaction was complete, and then denied the items anyway. It felt misleading, unhelpful, and unnecessarily petty over two donuts. Since I was newly engaged I had to find out where this cake came from and when I found out it was Passionate Pastry in Garden Grove, I immediately called them up to make an appointment for a cake tasting. My fiancee and I met with Clare and had a great time at the tasting. We decided on our cake flavors (after tasting ALL the options at least once) and after looking at a few other places couldn't believe the price...a great deal for the QUALITY. Clare personally delivered the cake exactly as promised to the wedding venue and it was a huge hit. I think I had 3 pieces and I noticed several other guests indulging a little extra as well. Being a bit of a foodie, with mostly foodie friends, I was elated by how well the cake was enjoyed by all. Today is our 1 year anniversary and we just had a couple slices of our cake topper we had frozen for a year and were quite surprised how well it held up. Honestly, not as good as our wedding day but surprisingly moist and flavorful for a year in the deep freeze! THANKS CLARE!!! P.S.
