I love everything about this place, from their ice-cream cakes to their icecream. Though we did notice that we aren't as fond of the ice cream cakes as we used to be. I'd prefer to just get the ice cream I want. My fav ever was the Halloween Special Trick Oreo Treat- but unfortunately it seems they went with a different flavor this year so apparently they don't just rotate the same ones. T.T You can also buy tubs of ice cream. We usually buy a few when they have a sale on them. My wife used to get me birthday cakes from here. We got one this year but didn't like it as much. Either I've outgrown it or the flavor we picked strawberry tres leches wasn't strong enough because I tasted more cake than I did the ice cream. I had that ice cream on its own recently and really liked it by itself. I also loved the triple mango. The cherries jubilee was good too. I see a theme. Fruit. But the butter pecan will always be my favorite. read more

My wife called earlier to ensure they had her favorite ice cream in stock. Then checked the web site to see what time they closed. Per their site they would close at 10PM. We arrived at 9:30 to find that they were already closed. They did not tell her that they were closing early. There was no sign on the door. I would say that this is poor customer service. My scoop was good per usual (OREO monkey business). But saw a worker making a cake with their bare hands. No gloves and hand fully on the cake while they were smoothing it. Noted to not buy a cake here. read more

With so many cake, ice cream, and pie shops through the city, Baskin Robbins does have a nice selection of ice cream cakes. Like any dessert shop, anything specific has to be requested in advance. However, you have to check to make sure that the cake you want is at that particular store. Every store doesn't carry the same cakes. read more

I love me some Baskin Robbins! Anytime I am able, I love to stop in and enjoy the various flavors they have. I know most people love getting the same, but I like to live on the edge a little, lol. This visit I decide to try the jamoca flavor. OMG, it was so good and creamy just the way I like it. It wasn't to sweet and they give a good amount or maybe it was the fact I had two scoops. HA! The store is pretty small. However, due to COVID19 dining in is no longer an option. But, you can enjoy the patio. The service was great! I enjoyed my overall experience! read more

This is a nice step up from their original location down the street. The parking and access are much better and there's a nice and neater space to sit & enjoy your sweets. The selection is good and the people are friendly. Overall a good Baskin Robins location. read more

My son and I decided at 9:30 pm on a Monday night to go get ice cream. Since we are new to the area we googled the nearest BR. It happened to be super close to our house so we went. When we went in it kind of smelled like a dirty mop. There were 2 people in front of us and at 9:40ish we ordered. There were 2 girls working and the store closed at 10:00. It was kind of gross bc there was some kind of matt sitting on top of one of the coolers. They were definitely in "close" mode. The girl who waited on us was ok, but it was obvious that both of them were a bit annoyed more customers (me and my son) had come in. I get the whole wanting to leave when ones shift is over, but it wasn't like it was 5 min to 10:00. We'll give it another shot only bc it's close by. Oh and it was my luck that the ONLY flavor I wanted was out of stock!!! lol read more

It's great to have ice cream here. I got a reward today and I chose two scoops of ice cream from my favorite ice cream store, Baskin-Robbins. They were key lime pie and cookies and cream. The other one was butter pecan and chocolate. Not great to have shakes here, and maybe a good spot to have ice cream. read more

Bought a grasshopper pie from the freezer for the holidays. I thought it looked old- ice cream looked kind of gummy. Guy at counter insisted that it was not too old. I asked when it was made and he said they don't put the dates on, that ice cream doesn't go bad. But it does! And it did. It tasted like freezer burn and was yucky. We couldn't eat it. I trusted his opinion. Wasted $20. :( I won't buy out of the freezer again, but I'm sure we will eat yet again. read more

I ordered the Peanut Butter Sundae for myself along with numerous other items for my wife and kids in addition to some pre packed cartons to take home. The clerk put so little ingredients in the sundae cup that they didn't even come to the top. I asked him why it didn't look anything like the picture on the wall and he replied that he put the correct amount of ice cream in it. I inquired how much the correct amount was and his reply was 3 "kid" scoops. I asked why in a large sundae he would use kid scoops and he said that was what he was supposed to do. They should be embarrassed at what I got for $5.39. I've enjoyed Baskin Robbins since I was a kid. This location however has been a joke since it opened. I actually saw the owner shave off ice-cream from the cone on a previous visit because he though he was giving too much. Yes he actually used a stick and shaved it off, unbelievable. IceCream Cake Old and Dried out @ $27.00 I never had this bad of a cake in my life. cake about 7-10 days old. cake about 1.1/4 tall of 4in tall cake. Never again. I work on Ice Cream machine Too. The Ice Cream is the Left Over at end of night that is used. This is ok if the machine is cleaned every 2 days. Every night is better for better ice cream. read more

I have been to this location a few times now and this was the first time having a horrible experience which is why I didn't give it one star...no one greeted us when we came in then we had to wait close to ten minutes for anyone to take our order. I got a hand packed quart and it should have been called a loosely packed quart since I was able to push the ice cream down another 2 inches when I got home!!! To top it all off they decided to ring up the person behind me first because they got something from the cooler section even though I was done so once again I had to wait!!! Please consider spending your ice cream dollars at a place other than Baskin Robbins on Poplar in Collierville! I had a terrible customer service experience at this store today. I took 6 kids to get ice cream, and one disliked her flavor after taking a single small bite. I went to the counter and explained the situation. I asked the woman how to best remedy this. She stated that I should just throw the ice cream away, so I did. The child then picked another flavor, and after handing the cone to me, the woman behind the register rang up a new charge. I told her that this was just a replacement for the one that had just been thrown in the trash, and not a new order. She replied that the seven year old child should "learn her lesson and choose her flavor more carefully next time." She would not replace the ice cream. I asked to speak with a manager and was told than none were available. The child felt terrible that she caused this issue, and I reassured her that she was in the right and the business was in the wrong. As a small business owner myself, I am appalled by this type of service. I will never patronize this place again, and I encourage you to think twice before patronizing this establishment. #brcollierville read more

Be aware that the pre-packed quarts have a lot of whipped air and aren't like the regular scooped ice cream. I bought chocolate and it's pretty tasteless. Come on BR, sell ice cream and NOT air!!!! read more

I worked at the Baskin-Robbins and over the months that I worked there, I saw multiple cockroaches, babies and fully grown. Trails of ants behind the counters and near the wet toppings and syrups. And a lot of fruit flies during the summer swimming and landing on the wet toppings like the strawberries and pineapples. The owner is so cheap that the spoons and cups that fall on the gross dirty floors, are picked up and reused and served to customers. The water used to clean the dishes sits there all day and will turn brown and still be used to wash dishes. The Indian man who is the owner, will go outside frequently to smoke a cigarette and then come back inside without washing his hands and smells the whole store up like smoke. He has dirt under his fingernails and often wears open toed shoes and has his button up shirts half unbuttoned with chest hair hanging out while helping customers. I would not recommend working here or eating here. THIS PLACE DESERVES A SURPRISE VISIT FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT read more
