Celebrated my 1 year anniversary with a sweet treat! Went on a Sunday evening around 4:50p and it was really quiet and no wait. The staff was patient and helpful. I got two scoops of Cherry Garcia on a waffle cone. My bf got 1 scoop of Marshmallow sky & 1 scoop of coffee. Also got a brownie to go. Total was $28 for everything. You can buy pints and ice cream cakes too. Recommend this place for a cool environment and treats. Patio area is neat. read more

This is the cutest ice cream shop ever! The staff were really kind and helpful when I couldn't decide on a flavor. I even was allowed to try a couple options. There is ample parking and the place is really clean! Additionally, there is seating outside. read more

The ice cream is always good! You can try flavors in store, that you'd never find anywhere else. The service was ok but not impressive. It was pretty crowded and noisy. I had to wipe my own table and I never saw anyone clean them my entire visit. I was there about an hour. I wouldn't take anyone there I didn't know well, as you just can't hear. read more

My family and I very much enjoy dropping by here, both before and after attending movies at the nearby Malco Theater / IMAX. The service is usually as fast as possible, even when the place gets slammed by dozens of customers. I admire the tenacity of the (mostly) teen employees. Ordinarily, we buy two cups of ice cream that we then eat either inside the shop, or outside on the patio. There are various ice cream cones and even non-dairy confections available as well. I really like that pints of many of the Ben & Jerry frozen flavors are available for sale here. They'll even pack your purchase into an insulated bag for your journey home. I recommend this location, and plan on returning again and again. read more

Delicious ice cream. Sparse staff, mostly attentive, seemed to be pretty new at their jobs, but trying hard to fill requests.

Used to love coming for ice cream but it seems the prices keep rising , while the scoops keep shrinking . This last time we ordered a banana split , the scoops were small tiny scoops for almost $12 , you would expect decent scoops. To add insult to injury the guy who prepared it left a banana peel in the ice cream. read more

Absolutely terrible experience on Monday night. The white employee scraped the melted remains off the sides of the ice cream container and into my waffle cone. It was literally just melted slop. When I mentioned it, he said, "that's just how it is," as if I didn't watch him scoop the melted sides and give it to me. For the prices B&J's charge, the quality and customer service were embarrassing. Do better. read more

Let me start off saying that the employee working the day I went was super nice. I came in with my 2 year old to redeem my free birthday ice cream and come to find out I had let it expire. Regardless, we were there so of course we paid for one. Just a small single scoop was a bit pricey though. I understand it's a name brand chain, but jeez. It did taste good however. I got a chunky monkey for my son and I to share. It wasn't took cold, so we spit outside. It was nice they have an outside seating area. Inside is a bit small and someone was doing maintenance on the ceiling or something so with my little one, we needed to get away from him working haha. All and all, I'd prefer to just get a container from the local grocery store for cheaper. read more

First and last time coming here, Terrible service, went in an hour before closing and there was about 4 other people there waitin, the employee was rude and rushing everyone and rolled his eyes every time we said or asked anything. Also the Icecream itself was disgusting, terrible flavors and consistency. 0/10 read more

Tried the cookie dough for the first time and loved it, on their waffle cone. My wife had a coffee-flavor. Service was quick and friendly. Don't forget to join their rewards, for a 10% -off. No matter how you compare them against that 30-some flavor place, this has some pretty good - and unique flavors. read more

I go often and I always have great service, amazing ice cream, with a wonderful selection.

I recently moved back to Memphis, been gone 20 years on traveling adventures. My sister said we had a B & J close by, so after serious shopping at Ross, we stopped by. I wanted a three small scoops, Butter Pecan, Berry Sorbet and something chocolate. I pointed to the "Waffle Bowl" not to be confuse with the "Waffle Cone", and placed my order. I was surprised when I was told that only one flavor could be added to the "Waffle Bowl" So I smiled and said ok I will have the Kid $1 scoop, one "Waffle Bowl" with Carmel, Chocolate syrup and whipped cream Ice-cream, always delicious, love sitting on the patio, very nice place, Will visit again, three stars, just think out of the box people. I had no idea we even had a Ben & Jerry's in Memphis! I was so psyched when I realized what this place was! I love their ice cream! I mean I mostly enjoy only a few select flavors but still I love it. I also love that you can get a waffle cone or a waffle cup. I really wanted to give this place more stars, like it better, etc. But, the ice cream isn't any better than it is from the freezer section of the grocery store. But Ben & Jerry's is really good so, the ice cream was delicious. Also, finding vegan dessert in Memphis was much harder than I had anticipated, so enjoying a sweet treat here was greatly appreciated. I'm so glad Ben & Jerry's started making vegan ice cream (it's so tasty) and that they stock it in this store. While they have a rather large and nice outside seating area, it is kind of noisy as there is a ton of traffic moving by. The location is also super annoying. It is very near a movie theater and an area of town saturated with big box stores. So there are tons of Beckys & Karens milling about, sampling all the flavours, and having existential crises over sizes, flavours, etc., which causes the line to move slowly in real time and even slower in perceived time. So, sans many vegan dessert options, if I lived in Memphis I'd be here on occasion but not too often. There just isn't much of a reason to chose eating Ben & Jerry's here vs in the comfort of my home. read more

Has always been great BUT, we go there today & the cups are all half full! For the price they charge, that is unacceptable!

This Saturday. Busy and bustling. Teen and group hot spot. Games and groups...playing and having good conversations. Ice cream from one end to the other. Prices are high, but so is quality and taste. The workers are on top of things and serve you up quickly. Nice spot located right by the Paradiso Movie Theater. So customer flow is probably never ending. I was looking for a specific ice cream. The Bob Marley's One Love. Banana, Peanut Butter with Chocolate Pieces. They had it only in pints, so even better. Because the small scoop cup was almost as much as the pint. Win, Win. Take some home to share..! By the way both my g-kid's ice cream off the cone hit the floor. And they replaced the serving at no charge. Look, I love ice cream. It is one of the few things that essentially get me through the week. And Ben & Jerry's has pretty solid flavors and quality, no doubt. Nonetheless, nothing could compel me to pay $5 for two measly scoops of "gourmet" (yet still chain) ice cream. Yes, it's $5 for a small cup/cone of ice cream. Absurd. The place is chill, big checkers is always fun, and the high schoolers working there are generally nice; however, I'll take a 1/2 gallon of Blue Bell for the same price. read more

Sweets......my weakness!!! I've always loved Ben & Jerry's ice cream. The flavors are endless, which I always have a hard time picking what I want. My go to flavor is strawberry cheesecake....MY FAVORITE! They even have some what of healthier choices such as frozen yogurt and sorbet. The banana peanut frozen yogurt is pretty good. A bit pricey for one small scoop....about $3 and some change. The decor is really cool. I like the big checkerboards that are on some of the tables. We take the family out for ice cream once a week or so and we tend to bounce around to different places. I discovered that and LOVE that Ben and Jerry's has stopped using plastic utensils! Just bought a bunch of chocolate shakes for the kids and I, and well...... ugh... There's nothing special about the ice cream, the whipped cream tastes strangely like a coconut tanning lotion, and the cardboard straws were like scratching fingernails across a chalkboard... you wanted it to stop. Let's start off by sayin that Ben and Jerry's I've cream is the bomb regardless. Then you get a Cherry Garcia Hot Fudge Sundae with peanuts and m&ms on top, wow!! Totally awesome I must say!! Everything about the ice cream was A++!! So 4 stars right? Well they had 3 people working but only 2 seemed to be helping customers. Weird for a busy Saturday night so we waited a bit longer than it should for ice cream. Second, take down that stupid use card, no moolah sign!! Sorry but this is America and cash is king!! I generally shy away from reviewing major chains unless the service was horrendous or stellar. In this case, the service was out of this world fantastic!! My mom and I went over after having checked out the recently re-opened Whole Foods across the parking lot. When we went in, the only staff member there was leading the 3-4 patrons in happy birthday to a customer sitting alone at a table, giving her free ice cream and treats, and giving all of us patrons free cookies. What I enjoyed most was that the man who was working was so cheerful and friendly. Too often these days, I run into staff in any business who are clearly burned out on working in general. But an ice cream shoppe needs a cheerful person, right?! And he nailed it. He was absolutely one of the most friendly people I've met in Memphis in a long time and he clearly enjoyed his job and making others just as happy as he. If you've got a sweet tooth and want to enjoy a company who gives women our break-up staples, make sure to swing by here. You won't be disappointed. I don't even need to talk about the ice cream....we've all had it ;) But the service was wonderful! read more

The flavors are good, and fun, and weird, and tasty. Ben & Jerry's is one of my favorite scoop shops in Memphis. Although it is a chain, you feel like you're in a local place because the employees are so friendly and give great service. The ice cream is really rich, so if you order a milkshake be prepared for a super sweet one. My favorite thing is the Brownie Special. Fresh brownie, with ice cream of your choice (I like the fudge brownie ice cream with mine. It sounds redundant; it tastes delicious.), real whipped cream and whatever else you want on it. I've been stopping in for years and the experience is always great. The ice cream cakes are delicious. I've never had a better ice cream cake. You can choose any of their flavors to made into an ice cream cake. They have some ready to go if you're not choosy or waited until the last minute. My husband and I stopped by after swimming to relax after a long day of corporate meetings. The staff were both prompt and friendly. My husband immediately ordered strawberry cheesecake, but I on the other hand could not make up my mind. The gentleman who was serving us exceedingly helpful in assisting me make my choice. All while smiling one of those huge genuine smiles. After we had our ice cream, we headed to the darling patio area. I noticed a hook with several hula hoops. Off I went to claim my circle of fun for the next few minutes. A kind man sat to visit with us and gave tons of greasy suggestions on restaurants to try while we were in town. He also took time to ask us where were from, how long we would be in town and to inquire about our crazy Alaskan life back home. In review- the ice cream is delicious, staff friendly, store & its restrooms exceedingly clean. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were not only happy with his restaurant, but that we would enjoy and be well taken care of at other establishments around town until we return to Alaska. read more
