If you get the chance to visit Memphis, definitely stop by this adorable bakery + boutique, not far from Beale Street, about a mile walk from the Peabody Hotel. Update: They are currently open on Mondays! Which was lucky for me as today is Monday and I had a few hours of free time. This is part-boutique, part-bakery. I am a macaron fanatic and the raspberry macaron was 100% the BEST macaron I've ever had. It was fresh, bursting with flavor, and crumbled so delicately. Thankfully they come in packs of two, so I have one more to enjoy later. I bought a few packs of macaroons, a delicious ice-cold mango green tea, a greeting card, two vinyl decals, and a perfect t-shirt: "Mental Health Matters", going to post that today to my college Senior. So... this may be my shortest review ever. Long story short.... the place is very... eclectic. Clothes are in the front with a tiny section of baked goods in the back. Didn't see the Baker when I arrived and they had almost as much day old items that they were selling for cheaper prices than the baked goods that were made the day of. Strawberry cake wasn't very good and the chocolate pound cake lacked moisture. It's really sad because their presentations are amazing but the goods lack in flavor. I guess places like nothing bunt cake and things make it hard to compete in the baked goods market.... but come on. read more

Came here for the Donut Tasting Event (June 8) with some friends and we had a good time! The Boutique is really cute and had some amazing pieces. We were served 4 different donuts (Carrot Cake, Funfetti, Lemon Blueberry, and Almond Joy) and complimentary coffee, water, or Brunch Punch. The donuts were really tasty and decorated beautifully! The Brunch Punch was just right to go along with the donuts. I will definitely return to try out their other sweets and to do a little shopping in the Boutique! read more

I was really looking forward to try a new bakery place for me but ended up disappointed I got a set of strawberry cupcakes and some strawberry macaroons. The cupcakes were cold, not fresh at all and the frosting was overly sweet, it tasted like the frosting you would get at Krogers. Then the macaroons had a weird smell. Literally came to Primas last minute because my grad cake order was cancelled and it was the day before graduation. Rachel gave me a chance to have my order put in by 12 pm. I DEFINITELY came back to place my order. My grad cake was soooooo goood!!!!! The cake was THICK, MOIST, which = DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! I loved it. I also had a little too much but that's how good it was! No, I would just pass on Primas. Very limited items available, we got tiramisu and birthday cake macarons and they tasted old, broke apart when touched and were extremely sweet. The reason for the 1 star the person assisting us was very unfriendly and snooty. So it's a firm NO for me. read more

I absolutely hate giving bad reviews but I also pride myself on giving honest ones. I ordered a 8" birthday strawberry cake with vanilla icing. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, the delivery was quick and easy, and the price was affordable (That's why I'm giving 2 stars). Now the actual taste of the cake was unfortunately not very great. The texture was like cheese. The strawberries were not blended well into the batter and with a bite of cake I would get a large mushed strawberry that would be very chewy and quite gross. There was also absolutely no flavor unless the cake had a lot of icing on it. I wish I would've gone with a vanilla cake but I'm not sure if that would have been any better. At first I thought it was just me but I made a small mention of the poor quality of the cake and everyone agreed. Not one person finished their slice. Normally I would request a refund or some type of restitution but due to corona virus that seems like it's not much of an option for me. I would recommend asking to taste the cake flavors before ordering from this company. I might be willing to give them a try with the white cake because I feel like white cake is impossible to mess up. They also have a cookie cake that might be good as well but I'm honestly not sure. If I do give them another try I will revise my review. I'm including a picture of how much of the cake is left because it will all be thrown out. If there is one thing I hate more than wasting money it is wasting food! read more

I've been driving past this place on my way home for a while! Lately I've been obsessed with French macarons, so that's exactly what I wanted to try! I checked their Instagram page, and they had the flavors of the day posted on their insta story which was SO helpful (so you don't take a wasted trip for flavors or pastries you don't want). Now on to the goods... the funfetti macaron is great! The macaron shell was fluffy yet chewy, different than what I've had, but still very delicious. The vanilla filling was fresh and very smooth! I wish I got more than two, honestly. The fudge macarons were the same texture as the funfetti, but were completely different in flavor. These were very rich, so chocolate lovers, this is for you! I love chocolate myself, but I don't think that I could eat more than one of these at a time! Went to Primas originally for a TNDP mixer w DNC Chairman Tom Perez last year. The venue was perfect for the event - small, quaint, and intimate with a bevy of treats and coffee. My daughter enjoys stopping there to find original "Bohemian" style garments and unique goods. The cakes are AWESOME!!! The whole atmosphere reminds me of NYC's East Village. Kudos! read more

Highly suggest stopping in while walking down Main Street! The boutique has a wild selection of unique clothing items and the desserts are Devine!
