Brought a group of retired friends here for lunch in May. I dislike writing not so great reviews. The place is so nicely decorated. Very quaint and beautiful inside. Service was not on par that day. They were down servers and kitchen staff. We arrived at 11:30 and it took our server thirty minutes or more to bring water. We received our waters and then after another 20 minutes places our orders. Some of us ordered sandwiches and some of us opted to order the tea service. We did get our tea and our friends got their sandwiches. About an hour later or more we still had not gotten our tea service. Friends had to leave since it was 1:45 pm and we had not eaten anything yet. We were told we could cancel our tea service which we did. They did comp our pot of tea. Our server did apologize. Other patrons left without ordering that day. I have not returned since this experience was not good. I hope everything gets worked out and they can hire more help. I know the service industry is hard to keep good workers. I was very disappointed. read more

I hate giving bad reviews, and this is a first for me. This place needs to work on their service and scheduling. Service was extremely slow and unprofessional. The afternoon tea tray was served with no introduction of the items. The tray came out much earlier than our teas, so we sat with no water refill or tea. Our 4 teas took around an hour to come out, (the menu says afternoon tea is capped at 1.5 hours) and after inquiring multiple times on our order we got little updates. The servers seemed more concerned with cleaning the tables off than serving them. The portion size from the tea tray was not up to the standard of other afternoon teas in the area. It's cute inside, and very instagrammable, but you should just leave after a few cute pics because you will be waiting far too long for anything else. The manager was kind with our concerns and feedback, but I would not recommend going unless you have a lot of time to waste. read more

An indulgent affair for the modern tea lover. What a beautiful location snuggled right into a shopping center. My friends and I indulged in a beautiful high tea experience with all of the fixings. Teas, scones, macaroons, and more. We chose to order the sampler with 5 teas and an assortment of delicacies. The service was impeccable, with various staff members checking on us and engaging in conversation. This is worth the recommendation and a second trip. read more

The Prince Tea House was an ENCHANTING Surprise!!! "THE" Girlfriend (aka my wife of decades) had read about the new Prince Tea House opening in Cordova, TN and she wanted to check it out. So, last Friday, we stopped in to pick up some dessert. The decor is chic with a whimsical flair. Service was VERY Professional; Managers and Staff are attentive, engaging, and friendly. Their dessert menu had so many interesting offerings. We opted for three items: Strawberry Shortcake Parfait, Tiramisu, and NY-Style Cheesecake. LOL... The attached pictures are from the restaurant's website because by the time I parked in our garage, "THE" Girlfriend had eaten half of the Tiramisu and a quarter of the Strawberry Shortcake Parfait. Prince Tea House is one of those new restaurants we plan to visit 2-3 times a month so we can work through their menus. So, stay tuned for more reviews. read more

I tried Prince Tea House in Flushing and really enjoyed it so I was excited to see Memphis getting one too! I've been here twice now and enjoyed both visits. The interior is super cute and clean. The food was surprisingly decent, and I especially loved the hot milk teas they offer. I just wish the teapots were a little bigger, at $10, the portion felt like a small Starbucks drink. Still, I think part of what you're paying for is the ambience. I'm giving it 4 stars mainly because the service could use improvement. Both times, the server didn't clear our plates, and I ended up moving them myself to make room for desserts. Not a huge issue, but it feels a little out of place with the classy vibe they're going for. Overall, I do enjoy coming here, it's a lovely spot for a girls' date and I'll likely be back! read more

Love this aesthetic! Service was great from the managers and other staff members. But our server who was a young gentleman lack attentive skills. Everything that we asked for he somehow forgot. Our iced teas took over 45 mins. I don't understand why it took so long. Now on to the food. The cod and chips were ok. The fries were just frozen fries you get from the freezer section. The takoyaki needs improvement. It's a bit soggy. The crispy chicken was good. The katsu was super dry. The salad dressing was good though. Green tea crepe was ok. Overall, not sure how I feel about this place. Maybe I'll give it another shot and not order food and just dessert.... read more

We had a blast at Prince Tea House! The servers were extremely kind and welcoming. We told them it was our first time there, and they did everything they could to be sure we had lots of recommendations. Our server Al was very knowledgeable about the menu and what was good to try there! The prices were very reasonable. We have gone to a lot of different tea places in the past, and this one was one of our favorite ones we have ever gone to! The environment was great too! It would definitely be a great place for a special occasion or get together for tea or dessert. We will be back! read more

This is a great place to have tea, which was excellent. The food, organization, and service needs work. I will go back for a second time with the hopes of improvements. No one posted the menu so I'll do the honors. The food was pretty good, I had the katsu chicken sandwich and my bf had the chicken and waffles. He liked the spicy yogurt sauce it came with. We then had the Scandinavian detox tea and it had a nice light sweetness. Our dessert included the Goma Crème Brûlée, fruits tarts and eclair, the crème brûlée was my favorite out of the three. Service was a little slow but there were a lot of people. We were seated in our own little booth which was hella cute. Given we had tea with 2-3 refills per person between me and the man, our entrees and dessert, $54 is a reasonable price for a cute brunch/lunch date. Bathroom is clean but the toilet may need extra flushing. Amazing hidden gem in an awkward location. It's next to Lowe's on Germantown parkway. read more

Visited this tea house for the first time. The decor is beautiful. The waitress Stephanie was very knowledgeable and explained all the different types of teas and helped us understand which flavors would be best for us to depending on our preferences. I had the R1and it was very fruity and flavorful. My daughter had almond and vanilla and she said hers was very good too. The sandwiches were all delicious. I would definitely come back here again when I'm in town. read more

Prince Tea House is a charming tea house offering a wide selection of both fixed price afternoon tea and a la carte drinks, desserts, and brunch items. I am particularly impressed by their three elegant, clean and photogenic dining spaces. As the staff in training come by to take your order, their manager may come by to confirm your order. We came on a Wednesday afternoon with no wait as expected, but won't be able to speak to the weekend as this gem may blow up in popularity in a manner of time. The pu er tea was a delight to drink to balance out the subtly sweet tart passionfruit cake. I absolutely love Prince Tea House as a more affordable alternative to the fixed price afternoon tea at the Peabody Hotel. I will definitely come her for all occasions from girl's high tea, date or family gatherings. Easily one of my favorite venues in Germantown. read more

Prince Tea House is such a gem! The inside is super cute and intimate--perfect for chatting and snacking if you're feeling peckish. My friend and I ordered the Tea for Two set, which came with a beautiful variety of finger sandwiches, creamy desserts, and fluffy scones. Everything was presented so nicely, and the vibes were immaculate. The service was amazing as well the staff were so nice and attentive,even taking this photo for us! This aesthetically pleasing establishment is located in Memphis, Tn but once you step inside you feel like you're in Paris. My friend and I didn't make reservations, we just walked in and they had seating available. They have an assortment of teas, pastries, and food items. We ordered the peach tea pot, it was refreshing and you didn't need to add sugar. We also ordered the strawberry latte which is my favorite latte now. I will definitely be back for it, it was the perfect blend of sweetness. The chicken and waffles filled me up, it was topped with one big chicken tender, sunny side up eggs and bacon sprinkled on top. I ate and left no crumbs. My friend ended getting different desserts for us to try from fruit tarts, crème brûlée and min cakes. Everything we ordered was reasonable and we didn't break the bank. read more

Got there around 12:50-1pm Sunday with a party of 8 and it didn't take more than 5-10mins to get seated after putting our name down. Service was great and attentive. Our server (Martez?) did an excellent job on answering all of our questions and provided recommendations that we all loved. Everything we ordered was delicious. We also ordered a few varieties of hot and milk tea and liked every single one of them. For apps, we shared the egg rolls, fried squid tails and popcorn chicken. The squid tails were exceptional. For our main dish, I shared the katsu chicken sandwich and California sandwich with a friend. The inside is also bright and super pretty with plenty of room to move around. The tea and the dessert what we ordered was so good and pretty But we left a bad impression on the woman who looks like owner. She walked around caring about the customers, but it was not good to see her wearing a black long padded jacket in a pretty dessert cafe. I was a little disappointed because I couldn't feel the politeness of the owner to the guests. At least wearing light makeup and a dress is a courtesy for the guests who visit the cafe. read more

New place and clearly not familiar with the American Disability Acts as all should be in the public services of the food and beverage retail industry. I brought in my certified service dog and with great uneasiness, they were hesitant to seat or welcome us. They proceeded to enforce their own policies by implementing specific booths for us to sit at due to "the safety and comfort of other customers". If they have an ounce of knowledge or common sense, they would know that a service dog's sole duty is to be of SERVICE to its owner and not HARM anyone. In the case of a customer disliking dogs, then it should be them that leaves the vicinity. Owner of Prince Tea House, please study what is required of you as an owner to avoid coming across as ignorant or institutionally bias. If you're looking for inclusivity, you won't find it here; but perhaps it's the downfall of being located in dirty 'dova. However, as an architectural designer, I give a special shout out to the interior designer. Great ambiance through the mix of textile, texture and lighting. I recommend their ginger salad dressing and fruit tart crepe. Delicious! read more

Very disappointing. Three friends and I made plans to enjoy afternoon tea and were really looking forward to it. The decor is nice and the menu looked great. That's where the positive experience ended. We ordered afternoon tea for 4. We sat for over 30 minutes and never even got the tea. None of the servers or managers stopped to give us any information. When we finally flagged our server down, he stated that the table next to us "had a lot of drinks" and that's what was taking so long for ours. What a poor excuse. I suspect he never actually put our order in. We ended up walking out and getting Mexican food at the place a few doors down. read more

Horrible experience, customer service from the little girl proclaiming to be a Christian when I heard her talking about other people was just completely unprofessional. How can you proclaim to be a Christian when you're spreading rumors at your job? I think management needs to wrap their employees up better. Overall the other two servers on duty were great. The food was subpar at best. I will say the only thing good about this place is what it looks like. I will give them a one star review. I'm willing to bet the people in New York would not be happy with how this place is being run. read more
