The filling appeared to consist primarily of spinach, which was extremely watery and had such a slimy consistency that we found the dish inedible. (See photo) Three of the four sweets included with our High Tea for Two looked remarkably similar to items I have purchased at my local Walmart. (See photo.) The owner also informed me she would include tea bags, which she failed to do. Additionally, when we placed and paid for our to-go order at the register, the owner asked whether we wanted to leave a tip, which we felt obligated to do since she was bold enough to ask. I found this somewhat unusual, considering we were not dining in, had received no table service, and were not seated at a table while waiting on our takeout order. That's $73.33 we wish we had kept! Needless to say, we won't be going back.

They only had one that we could use at our table so our friends and I had to swap it back and forth. Some things were whited out, which is fine, but then there were things without prices next to them, which is not fine. I am not a big fan of surprises in pricing. The menu listed build your own options, but not prices next to things. I ended up picking some things for a burrito and having to ask what the price was before I committed. It ended up tasting fine and I even liked the salsa it came with. However, everyone in my party agreed that they did not like that aspect. It actually deterred my friends from ordering from that menu. I was also deterred but they were out of pesto so I couldn't get the turkey sandwich I wanted. They messed up my husbands order but fixed it, thankfully. But again, it was just odd. Instead of pepperjack cheese they sprinkled pepper on top and used jack cheese. The one girl apologized profusely. At the end of the day, there were just too many things that were odd or off-putting here to myself and my friends. I loved the area it was in, so it made perfect sense as to why this coffee shop was there. I went on a Saturday morning, and it was packed full of people. Only two people working, so it did take a minute to place my order and get my drink. But, there were places to sit and things to look at while I waited. They didn't take your name to write on the cup, so it was a bit confusing as they were calling out order, especially when someone else had your same drink. I always like to try a special when I am trying out a new place, so I decided to get the Honey tiramisu coffee. It was absolutely delicious! I drank it so fast. I loved it so much that I wanted to go back on Sunday. Without checking the hours, we drove there and they were closed. Oh well, but I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town!
