I wanted so HARD to love this place and support a black owned business but unfortunately attitudes does not allow the support. Why am I saying this, I'll be glad to tell you why. We travelled from Midtown to Whitehaven on purpose to support this establishment vs our beloved Jerry's Sno Cone. There was a wait due to the COVID-19 restrictions and with a limit of 6 people per the sign on the door. A young man and woman walk up to the door and we advised them we were waiting in line. The lady proceeds to say "I'm the owner!" Oh, my face. Please note this lady looks NOTHING like the lady on the building/advertisement so how were we supposed to know that. Instead what the lady SHOULD have said was, "Hello, I'm the owner and Thank you so much for your support during these challenging times." Instead we were address with a nasty attitude as if we were to know the lady who don't look like the picture breaking line was the owner. Now for the product review. The prices are higher than Jerry's Sno Cone, the ice was soft as a pillow and the flavor was exactly as the flavor choosen so a plus there! The spoon sucked, it was a soup spoon vs. more traditional Uline 7305B spoon, which made it a bit challenging to eat in the beginning. Will I return to this establishment? NO, because of the unnecessary attitude from the owner and the lack of apology for the rude behavior when we interacted with her at the counter. I'm SORRY reviewers but this is why it's so hard to support black owned business. The take away, I don't care how good/great "YOU" think your product is, it's not an excuse for rude service especially if you're the owner.

Oh my goodness!! What a hidden treasure! I have to say this first, the service was fantastic!! Everyone was so nice and professional. Second, the snow come was amazing ! I had the cherry snow one with vanilla ice cream. My husband had the wild strawberry and vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was creamy and there was no holding back on syrup for the snow cone. The ice wasn't the crystal ice but the true shaved ice. This was such an awesome treat while visiting Memphis!! Thank you so much! read more

his is a cool spot for the Whitehaven area. They not only have a variety of ice cream and snowball options, but that old school candy lady style food too! I had the Bob Marley. It was really good. You actually get a lot of bang for your buck. I literally could not finish eating it...it was HUGE! The service was fast and friendly even with them being super crowded. We were pretty much in and out! The establishment is also super clean and sanitized. I can't wait to go back and try the cheesecake snowball! My friend had it and said it was amazing. Go to Jerry's Snow Cones. I try to support black business, but a 45 minute wait for 3 snowcones is ridiculous. Then our order was messed up, no apologies, no hurry to fix the issue, an additional 20 minute wait. At this point, I'm furious and would rather have a refund. I will never return to this place and I live right up the street in Whitehaven. The next time I want a snowcone, I'm going to Jerry's. I don't mind driving for good service. read more

I enjoyed the service and social distancing protocols in place. The orders were received in a prompt and efficient manner. The cost of the snoballs were reasonable, almost less than I expected. I loved that this place is black owned and actually taking this pandemic seriously. They only allow six people in the store front at a time so there was a bit of waiting, but it was worth it. I had a small Arnold Palmer's snoball, which was definitely enough to satisfy my sweet tooth craving, and it was amazing! The staff was really friendly and I really appreciated that. 10/10 would recommend. I plan on going here regularly read more

If man-made cheese-like product is not your thing, provolone is an option. They serve other stuff too, I'm not sure why anyone would care when there are cheese steaks on Amoroso rolls with Cheese Whiz, but to each their own. The hand cut fries are a nice side dish. The gyro sandwich is good, only 4-star good. Haven't tried the hot dog yet. They seem to have regular spots at WKNO in Cordova on Thursdays, and Shelby Farms on Sundays. THE FOOD & WINE At $65 for a 5-course Chef's Tasting Menu and $35 for the wine pairing, it is a good value. We started with a tasty carrot coriander amuse-bouche from Chef Nate, followed by: * Georges Banks Scallops: Served with tomato gelatin, cured kiwi, and crema.
