Jerry's is always a good time for quick eats! Easy to get in and out because of ample parking and a a variety of menu items to choose from. The BBQ chicken nachos were delish, as always! It's grilled chicken, not shredded so beware if you're not a fan. It came with the perfect amount of meat and a great cheese to chip ratio. The supreme sno cone was good, as expected! If you're new here it's a sno cone with ice cream on top, in the middle, and on the bottom. Balance! 2 people in our group got BBQ bacon burger combos and they enjoyed them as well! It came with plenty of fries. The funnel cake (not pictured) was a bit small and fried too hard for my liking. The seating area is nice and spacious but it was hard to find a clean table to sit at due to sno cone drippings being all over the booths. Someone eventually came out and started cleaning the seating area, thankfully. Also, there's a bit of outdoor seating available, if desired. Overall it's a great spot to stop in and grab a quick bite to go if you want something good & fun that's not traditional fast food. I've never been here before so I was confused at first but the menu is like painted up top above the ordering window. The names were confusing but they explained what was in them there. It was cool but I don't actually like snow cones so I've always avoided this place haha. I'm glad they also had ice cream. I got a brownie sundae, which is my favorite thing to order from ice cream shops from childhood. Glad to say this one was pretty good! Also, can I say how BIG the orders are? I am not sure what sizes my friends ordered but there's a reason one of them just didn't order- they knew they'd end up sharing with their family. It is really echoey inside so that was annoying. My friends say they thought the walls were able to open and have everything be outside. I am not sure but that sounds cool. I have been here plenty of times before and have given it 4-5 star reviews. But this time I need to give it only 3 stars based upon my visit to this iconic establishment last night at around 7-7:30pm. The rating is mainly based upon the inaccuracies of my food order. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak combo and ordered seasoned fries. I got plain fries. My wife ordered a burger with no cheese and pickles. Guess what, the burger had both of these items. She ordered the burger to have onions on it and low and behold, no onions. Thought about returning the burger for another but decided against because the ordering line was getting pretty long, so she tolerated the burger. The lack of seasoned fries was no big deal. We did order 2 supreme sno comes on that same order and they were made as ordered. Jerry is always my go to sno cone place. There are lots of flavors and varieties possible. They also offer snack food made to order. I was craving a sno cone and went over. Now i couldn't get 5 stars because im not sure how my sno cone was made. I order a medium cotton candy, blue hawaiian and coconut with cream. Seems like nothing, but coconut was on the bottom and the other 2 flavors on top. Didn't love this because one i ate the top I'm only left with 1 flavor. It could just be my expectations for this place but I was really disappointed with my experience. First, they only sell ice cream in vanilla, chocolate, or mixed. The massive lists of flavors are strictly for snow cones but it's not super well labeled, so I thought it could've applied to ice cream flavors too. Anyway, we got a caramel vanilla sundae, strawberry cheesecake snow cone, and Mac n cheese bites. The sundae was okay but it was literally just vanilla ice cream with caramel thrown on top. I thought it would've been like caramel ice cream but aside from that, it was okay. The strawberry cheesecake snow cone was a disappointment. It just tasted like ice with sugared food coloring. I couldn't taste the strawberry cheesecake flavor anywhere. And finally the Mac n cheese bites were eh. I thought they'd be bigger but they were really tiny and the nacho cheese dip that came with was horrible. Overall, the service was a little slow and I think I just had too high of expectations of this place given that it's always crowded. Nothing irritates me more than workers you can't think outside the box of "that's what my owners say". People have lost the ability to think critically and analytically and use good common sense when it comes to customer service. This is also why it's hard to support Local businesses. I ordered a "speciality" drink that included TWO flavors yet I was charged extra. I ordered a rainbow with THREE flavors sub one for the other NOT an extra flavor but was charged an additional cost. When asked about the extra charge no one could explain how this made sense. The lady looked like she "may" be a lead had a sassy attitude that didn't help the situation and basically walked away, totally disrespectful while I'm still talking. I was told to leave my name/number for the owner to contact me. Why both, cause they won't. They don't care about "making it right" they care how to squeeze money out of customers. It's not a trip home without a stop at Jerry's. This time, I decided to visit the new location in Cordova. While aesthetically different -- indoor ordering, a (physically) larger menu, a drive-thru -- the vibe and, of course, the snow cones, were just as great. In the spirit of trying new things, I ventured (slightly) outside of my comfort zone and ordered the white wedding cake supreme instead of my normal go-to, the regular (red) wedding cake supreme. I heard that it had a strong almond flavor (which I love), but I didn't really pick up on it. It was sweet like its red cousin, but to me, it had more of a coconutty flavor, which disappeared after a few bites. The vanilla soft-serve ice cream seemed to take over from there. It was still delicious, but I'll probably go back to the original on my next trip. While nothing will ever top the original Jerry's location, it's great to know there's an alternative that's a bit closer and has a drive-thru. And from what I could tell, the drive-thru line was very efficient and fast-moving. The line inside moved at a pretty fast pace as well. In the heat of the summer, that speed is essential. How good can a snowcone be? Ten years ago, that was my first response to someone who told me about how good Jerry's was. Well, my answer is stupendous. I was first introduced to the Supreme, and it was a game changer. The ice they use is so smooth that it really tastes like the flavor you choose (and there are a bunch of them) is infused into the ice - the flavor and ice are one. It doesn't taste like ice with a little bit of syrup on it, like you would get from a slurpy machine at the fair. Then, the vanilla ice cream at the top, middle, and bottom of the snowcone?? A mind-numbingly perfect duo. You finish the ice cream at the top, a little disappointed, but then you encounter the ice cream in the middle, making you excited again. Then you finish that and are disappointed, but then get to the ice cream at the bottom and are all happy again as you finish the entire treat with both snowcone and ice cream. read more

Although the light and airy shaved iced and fun & flavorful syrup combination options are great on its own, but add the soft serve and wow - just delicious! BUT unfortunately, the service is horrible!! We ordered 5 and got 4 of them within 5-10 mins but after waiting for over 25mins for the 5th one, we had to keep asking for it. It took about 35-40mins to get the 5th ice cream!! Apparently it mist have been left sitting there EVEN though we had asked for it several times because they ended up saying they had to remake it because it had melted!!! I've NEVER, I mean never been a snow cone fan of any level! My friends wanted me to try it so much they offered me my first one on the house! I decided to go with their fave and get the SHOCKTART! The ice cream stole the show as I couldn't fully described the sno cone flavor due the ice cream, overall was very good. With a supreme, they only come in medium, which is enough & costs $3.65. Outside of sno cones & the thousands of flavors to choose from, they also have food to choose from. Nachos, burgers, other sweet, etc, you could be looking at the menu all day if it's your first time. There's so much to choose from, you'll be coming back on the regular. The options are endless. The wait for the sno cones didn't take long at all. It was packed, went around 2pm. The website even gives you a heads up on when the place is not as busy. Last week a little after lunchtime, I was driving past Jerry's when I noticed the rare circumstance of NO ONE in line. YES!! My chance to get a quick, good and cheap local lunch! What I received however was one of the worst burgers I've had in Memphis. Dry meat. Dried up bun. The staff was slow and no one was anywhere to be seen at the window for some time after we walked up. The same was the case when onions were left off a burger and we returned to the window to advise of the problem. Issues such as these with prior customers might explain why there was not another car on the lot the whole time we were there. Certainly failed to meet their old standards with my experience.
