Great cold treat spot for Memphis. Excellent prices. Real fruit paletas. Beyond basic flavors.

This place has so much to offer! They make specialty ice cream flavors in-house. I recommend the tres leches ice cream. They also have classic Mexican snacks, like mangoneadas and esquites. Their prices are affordable too! read more

A little piece of Mexico in the heartland! La Michoacana is a classic Mexican ice cream shop, and much more. In addition to traditional Mexican "gelato", they offer a variety of Aguas Frescas; great fruity cold drinks that come in a variety of flavors. They also offer street food type snacks like Chicharrón; a sort of salad served on a crunchy shell. Authentic Mexican down to the music, I highly recommend it! read more

The banana split was sensational! I'm still craving one. It literally had almost all the toppings.

This location never disappoints. Really so many spread throughout Memphis that you can easily find one. For me customer service is great. And the ice cream selections never disappoints (unless they are out of the corn one) lol. The prices for their items and the home-made cream or fruit pops are the best by far. Plus the flavor competes and often exceeds the other poplar pop places. So stop by a locations and indulge. read more

Oh my Gosh!! I've been in Memphis over 6 months now and I can't believe it's taken me so long to discover this place with its wonderful fresh Ice Creams & Frozen Yogurt!! I kid you not - the stuff I tasted and got was as good as the best gelato shops I ate at in Italy!! And it was cheaper and with bugger helpings too (# $value)!! I got the Coconut and Corn ice-cream -the small size cost me $2.73 and I got x2scoops. But I just couldn't finish the darn thing and took my leftover home. Yelper Rosy got a Mango Chilli ice that is on my list for my next visit. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors!! Yelp Review: 26/2017 read more

So many varieties!! So glad I finally tried the place our. I'm giving 3 stars because I am VERY into customer service no matter where I go. The lady at the register wasn't very welcoming & if I'm spending money I feel you should be nice. Other than that, I'm pleased. read more

La Michoacana - Very good! Mango & spices - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Memphis, Tennessee

Worst location EVER! People kept coming in and cutting the line, so unless you speak Spanish and have the habit of shamelessly cut other people, be prepared to wait for a long time without being served. We ended up have to leave after waiting for a very long time because it appeared that we would never get our turn. The staff would just serve whoever can push themselves in front of the freezer...It was loud and chaotic. I have been to the other locations and had never had such horrible experience! Giving it one star is even too much. read more

This is my favorite place to get ice cream. Sometimes I will buy paletas in bulk if they have a sale. They also have really good fruit drinks though their horchata wasn't very cinammony. Liked: - Nieve de Ferrero read more

This place is fabulous! I got a medium Mexican cake and it was way more ice cream than I needed (and it was cheap at 3.55)! The fresh fruit Popsicles looked amazing. I wish, however, that there was a list of flacors and that the ice cream containers were labeled. I used yelp to k ow what to get! It's good though! read more

I have been wanting to try this place for the longest and when I finally went I was not disappointed. This place is great. Being that I've never been, I asked to try some ice cream flavors. I tasted the strawberries and cream and Mexican cake. They were both good but I went for the Mexican cake on a cone because it was really good. I also got to try a free sample of their horchata which I though was delicious. All in all, I can wait to go back to try more of their ice cream flavors. There prices are affordable, plus they have nice staff who are very helpful. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't been yet! read more

I always get fast and friendly service here but they need to make sure people are wearing a mask because I'm seeing too many customers come inside with no mask and they don't do anything about it read more

Hands down the BEST ice cream and popsickles in Memphis! Don't leave here w/out giving them a try. Tastes like ice cream used to taste, cools you to the core. Pineapple Cheesecake () Strawberry Cheesecake () Coconut Bubble Gum And the list goes on & on! read more

There is nothing NOT delicious here and plenty of new and exciting flavors to try. My personal favorite: TRES LECHES ICE CREAM! Family friendly service is much appreciated. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MI AMIGOS! read more

WOW!!!! this is the best Ice Cream or yogurt I ever had, it's creamy and soft and full of flavor. The last time I ordered from them I purchased a 2 or 3 gallon bucket for my coworkers and it was a hit, We ate on it for almost 2 weeks. I purchase the pistachio ice cream. Now I'm looking to get the Pecan next. I wish they will have labels on the ice cream when you come in, anyways they definitely have it going on, plus their prices are not bad. If you want some good ice cream you have to try La Michoacana, The guy there who helped me was very professional and very kind with a smile, plus he made me a shake of some sort and whatever it was I couldn't stop sipping off it. read more

The way they prepare food is so sloppy. I ordered a elote en vaso and it was so watery and didn't even put that much effort into making it , the corn was over cooked and so mushy. The fresas con crema were disgusting, the granola was stale and they out too much strawberry syrup in it. The milk it's usually cold and sweet, but this was not it I couldn't even eat it. I usually go to the one on Summer and I never have bad experiences over there but I didn't want to drive all the way over there. If you want some good snacks/food just drive to the one on summer totally worth it!! read more

CASH ONLY! Now that you have been warned about the $$$........wear your stretchy pants! It is DELICIOUS! My son got the small chocolate and I got the small lime - both in cups. Total? $5.46. A bargain! The lime is like a cross between lemonade and lemon sherbet. It is super refreshing on a hot day: not too sweet, and tangy enough to know it is citrus based. The chocolate is rich and creamy with hint of cinnamon in it. My son swears there is a hint of coconut as well, and he might be right, but if so, it is very difficult to pick up on. Both are outstanding and this place is highly highly highly recommended! We will definitely be back!!!! read more

This was yummy awesome and cheap I had the pistachio almond and Ferraro icecream in a cup I will go and try the paletas and that corn soon . read more

I've been to this location and also the Summer Avenue one and neither have disappointed. I went to the Winchester location yesterday and tried the Mango Chili Popsicle. For one thing, I'm an ice cream girl, NOT a Popsicle fan. I just prefer the creamy richness of ice cream. Unless it's a popsicle from here. There were a ton of mango chunks in my popsicle and the hit of chili was perfect. I just can't say enough. My boyfriend got the Mexican cake ice cream and he was kind enough to let me try some. I joked about taking his ice cream and running away with it because it was so good. It was t really a joke though because his ice cream was delicious. Add the fact that they give generous tastes of any flavor you want, the prices are SUPER reasonable and it just doesn't get better than this. Go now! read more

Just amazing, just go there now! Butter pecan is the best in my opinion. But u be the judge and give it a go

I don't get ice cream. Ever. I love this ice cream. There are no signs to identify the flavors. I asked what the one that looked best was. Mexican Cake. It was so good. The spouse got a double scoop - coconut and pineapple with cheese? He loved the pineapple. Not sure about what cheese it was, but so good. read more

Wow! I think ive found my favorite ice cream spot in Memphis. First off, the customer service is amazing. Such friendly people. I got there after having dinner close to closing time, infact i got there a minute before they closed. We went in and were amazed by all the unique flavors. They were patient enough to let us try a few flavors. One small size was more than enough for my wife and I. Huge portion and the price was amazing, very affordable. Looking forward to going here again. read more

Most enjoyable frozen treat I've had in a very long time! Ice cream tastes fresh you can tell they care about what their doing.

This place is awesome! All of the employees are extremely kind and helpful. Excellent food! We arrived at 3:45 and had the place to ourselves for awhile. They have a very good salsa which has some sort asian pepper added for extra kick or something. It's really good and I'm not a spice person. I ordered fish tacos which comes with salad and got rice and beans on the side. Shoulda gotten a doggy bag! Excellent taste, temp, texture, and I totally enjoyed the atmosphere. read more
