I needed a pick me up so I stopped in for a treat. The shop is very spacious plenty of room to enjoy your ice cream. I was warmly greeted and allowed time to check out all of the offerings. They had a lot to choose from, ice cream, fruit bars and drinks made with various fruits and cream if you like. I got a strawberry and a guava fruit bar to go. I've only tried the strawberry one and it was delicious, packed with strawberries! The guava one is calling my name from the freezer. I may get up in a minute and answer. If you're looking for a nice treat to cool you down go check them out. They have plenty of options. read more

Had 4 different popsicles from this spot all natural flavors loved them. Kids and family loved them as well.

Everything here is absolutely delicious. My family visits at least a few times per year. It's always delicious. The staff is friendly, and we always enjoy taking to them. The place is very spacious and well lit. It's a little chilly in here, so bring a sweater read more

The lime flavored was always my favorite here, the popsicle and ice cream. Service is always great here. Clean facility.

The ice cream pops they sell here are sooo yummy! I've tried almost all 20+ flavors and they are all so unique and delicious. Service is always quick and very polite read more

Love their pina colada! It's the best! I also love their watermelon popsicles. Customer service could be better though. Maybe great your customers as they come in and say thank you after they to acknowledge their patronage. The place is big and have enough tables and chairs even on their busy days. Not too loud even when it's full capacity. read more

I've been to other locations in the past and I believe that this gigantic space is new. So many wonderful ice cream flavors to choose from. But wait...there's more. If you have a hankering for some authentic Mexican snacks - besides the frozen variety - I spied a gut busting pile of delicious looking nachos being shared by a few folks...along with a really nice menu of a few other savory treats. But back to the ice cream: I had the Mexican Caramel...I asked for a small. I assumed it would only be a single scoop, but the small size is very generous. The Mexican Caramel had pecans (pretty sure they weren't walnuts) and caramel swirled throughout. I was looking for Mexican Chocolate, but the chocolate flavor is just...plain...ol' chocolate. The strawberry shake was gigantic and rather pretty. Instant sugar coma. Great ice cream. Nice people. Quick service. Super prices. Yum. read more

Would highly recommend this place follow their business hours. They say they close at 9, the other day they closed early around 8 which is unacceptable. There was a group of churchgoers who were pretty upset when arriving at 8:40. I've had a flawless experience when going but professionalism wise this place needs to update their yelp description along with include a number and business hours. I've spoke to the owner and guided him to create a yelp business account but seems like nothing has changed. read more

So. Here is what happened. One day my friend said let's go get ice cream. I said yeah sure. I was thinking ok we are going to Walmart. He said heck no we are going to this cool place I found, they have Mexican style ice cream. Being originally from Mexico I was thinking nah. Surely that's not right. We pull up to the Michoacána on Winchester and it was like the ice cream from Mexico that I had as a kid. I bought one and then I bought 10 more. Then the next time I bought 20 to take home. Long story short they have a new location now in Cordova. I am a and a few others are super happy that they have expanded. Getting to know the owners and the family that runs these locations has been an honor. They are all kind and respectful. They make you few welcome and make sure your needs and all answers are met. I have yet to have a bad experience. No wait. I take it back. There is one downside to this place. You will get fat. But it's a happy fat. This is by far the best location of all 3 that are ran by the same family. Winchester by world over commerce and the one on Summer. We had an event there and it was great. read more

I really enjoyed trying the ice cream, nachos, horchata, and elote here. I preferred the ice cream and elote best. Elote is a traditional corn dish that I was familiar with from the street carts in Chicago. You don't find it very often in Memphis. The ice cream had very rich flavors and textures. The waffle cookie added to the side was a nice bonus. read more

I love how ice cream can bring everyone together like a melting pot. It makes everyone happy. The owners were so nice and introduced us to all the diff items they have available. Recent trip to Germantown had a few minutes to kill before Doctor appt. Tried the caramel and the pineapple paletas (frozen fruit bars). Pineapple was great, fresh tasting, not too sweet, very refreshing. The caramel was like caramel ice milk with a thicker caramel in the center. Both were unusual to us but very well made and tasty. Will come again to try the large selection and variety. read more

The ice cream and fruit is amazing. Friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend

This is another of the family-run chain dotting the Memphis area. I love their new sign outside with the cute little ice cream bars beside the name. The interior looks awesome with giant signs that I could read from across the room even without my glasses. They have all the usual flavors and I look forward to dropping by this location whenever we are in the area! read more

Maybe the ice cream and popsicles are good but the guy on charge was absolutely rude and mean , to be in a place where you have to deal with customers you should being polite and respectful . The worse part was that he wasn't even busy we came from far away and the way he treat us was not right Better find another location on our next trip We were trying to get more tomorrow but no , we will go somewhere else Bad review for what should be a good experience traveling thru Memphis I really regret to come following Yelp to this location read more

This was my first time here and I was excited to try the elote and special nachos. As soon as I took the first bite I was DISAPPOINTED! The nachos were stale and the elote has no seasoning whatever. It was so bland. A total waste of $15. read more

My first experience there and loved it. Food was good, the two girls working were nice and helpful, and very clean!

Some of the tastiest ice cream I've had. Don't let the simple look of this place fool you. They have some great offerings. The staff was polite and very helpful and the prices are very low considering how much you get. If you want some great ice cream I recommend you check this place out. read more

This place is the best! Truly the tastiest ice cream I've ever had. Tons of flavors, excellent service, great prices!

Elotes were on point! The mango with the chili pepper popsicle I think it's called the chymangoadas was so refreshing and delectable.

Coming from California, Mexican food is a missed comfort food of mine. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a Latin restaurant in Memphis that meets this California girl's standards. However, THIS place opens up across the street from me in a time of an attack of homesickness and completely makes my life ok to continue living in Memphis again! And there was no wait on service!! AND the service was great! They made sure I first tried and liked what I was paying for! AND they accept Apple Pay (I can't stand going anywhere with anything more than my keys and phone on me anymore lol). I'm apparently real late because they're ALLL over Memphis. I ordered a chamoyada (a delicious mango sorbet with a sour and just a little bit of chili sauce - sounds weird - but OMG) and a tres leches ice cream, that didn't last long so I don't have a picture.... all for about $7. Not to mention the additional mango fruit on top of the chamoyada. It was soooo perfect and essential during these ridiculous Memphis heat days!! If I wasn't already paying for a gym membership to get my life right... I would definitely be here errrrday! read more

What a pleasant surprise - I had no idea there was a La Michoacana on Germantown Parkway! I'm a huge fan of the one on Summer Ave, and this one is equally wonderful. Absolutely love the Bailey's ice cream and the paletas are so good. My favorite ice cream place in Cordova!

If you're looking for awesome speciality frozen treats, I'd highly recommend this place. My wife and I went there yesterday and I had the La Mangonada with Chamoy sauce. All I can say is that it was pure amazing. The sweet mango with the peppery sauce was a perfect match. My wife had the Cappuccino and chocolate popsicle. I took a bite from it and it was awesome. She said that it was a great popsicle. The staff in there was very friendly and gave me a very generous sample of the chamoy sauce before I bought the La Mangonada just to make sure that I liked it before I bought it. Their place was also organized and very clean. I can't wait to go back there and get some more frozen treats. Please visit their place when you get a chance! read more

On our first visit, i had a cappuccino Paleta. It was amazing. My hubby had a strawberry lemonade paleta. He didn't say much, and it went down pretty fast. So I think we will be back soon. We ended up taking 16 Paletas home. If you buy 7 you get one free. So we just got a bag of all sorts. Each one is delicious. Loving this discovery! read more
