Love this place! Super high quality and reasonably priced. Pet friendly. The dog pop was much loved, as was wife's blood orange and daughters strawberry. Looking forward to next visit!

There popsicles are average and the lady working there was not the kindest. Overall 3 stars

There is some sort of engineering/technical magic going on at Mempops to make these beautiful, dense, ice bars of flavor. I was visiting Memphis and went two days in a row. Loved the Arnold Palmer and Pineapple Ginger.

After brunch we were craving something sweet so a friend suggested this place. The popsicles here were really refreshing. We got the cherry lime and it was a little too sour but it was still really good, especially for a hot day.

This place is always my go-to in the summer when I am craving something sweet but not too heavy on the stomach. The fruit pops are refreshing but the creamsicles are my favorite, specifically the banana Nutella and fudge flavors. This place is located in a revamped sears and is very aesthetically pleasing! After a getting a popsicle, my friends and I walked around and looked at the art gallery and remnants of the sears store.

MEMPops is located in a really nice string of newer shops. I'm not from here but what I understand it is an apartment building with various shops below it. Everything is beautiful and clean. The popsicle was amazing, I had the hibiscus agave for about $4 after tip.

    She loves it!

Super delicious popsicles and super friendly ppl!! My sister and I decided to come here after hanging out at Overton Bark because we saw it was pet-friendly and so close!! When we first got here, we didn't even know they had popsicles for dogs but they do! And our dog loved her ice cream! It looked like it maybe was made of chicken stock or something - I'm not sure but she munched on it once she figured out what it was. I got the strawberry and cream popsicle and it was good! It wish there was more cream in it tho. My sister got the banana Nutella popsicle and she really liked it! Overall a super awesome place in a cool location

The moment we walked in, we were surrounded by colorful treats and nostalgic vibes that made the whole experience fun and lighthearted. He chose the espresso cookies n cream ice cream on a waffle cone, and I went with the classic cookies n cream on a waffle cone. Both were creamy, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot perfectly. We also grabbed a bag of their fruit slice candies in a mix of flavors, and they were so soft, fresh, and perfectly coated in sugar. Each piece had a bold, juicy flavor that made it hard to stop snacking. We couldn't believe we only spent $15 for such a cute and satisfying treat. After ordering, we took our cones and candy and enjoyed a peaceful walk around the square, just talking and enjoying each other's company. It felt simple, romantic, and refreshing all at the same time. We're definitely coming back again and next time, we're bringing the babies so they can experience the magic too.

They always have banana pudding which is my favorite and it's such a fun place to look around while you wait in line. There are so many candies to look at and they even had some Labubu balloons my kids were asking for. It's a fun place. We love the Chicago mix popcorn! Checkout was easy and $16 for 4 ice creams was a very reasonable price IMO.

My concerns of not having enough food were definitely misplaced. Either item would have been enough on its own. Portions are extremely generous. Bar service was quick and attentive as well. I requested the Cardinals game on the TV while I ate and the bartender was quick to attempt to put it on. Unfortunately, bar Kooky Canuck (as of 4/22/26) does not have the Cardinals mlb add on subscription for MLB.tv. In every other way, my experience was awesome! Just bummed I couldn't catch the day game during lunch.

The food is extremely tasty (and high quality) and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The owner, Shawn, is nothing short of a gem. He's friendly, has intelligence, wit, and integrity. I really messed up by not taking pictures on this one. I've had the burgers (phenomenal, regular and smash burger style) before. This time I tried the brunch menu and had, to name a few: *Poutine *French Canadian Toast *Maple Sunrise Sandwhich *Boozy Fried Bread Pudding *Eggs Benedict All of these were delicious. Small detail, but the crispy breakfast potatoes are perfect- soft on the inside and with this immaculate crisp on the outside. Next time I will certainly be getting the Waffle Monte Cristo. I love waffles.. I love Monte Cristo sandwiches.. seems like an ideal combo. A few friends and I have been in a few times now and this past trip he took us around the city. Again, I cannot say enough incredible things about he and his restaurant. Kooky even has food challenges: a 7 lb burger, a two-person 15 lb burger, and a four-person massive 25 lb burger! I've done the 25 lber and they were able to cook that burger so perfectly! Most places would undoubtedly have had the middle undercooked. Side note: Shawn has also won the "Tennessee Restaurateur of the Year" award. Yeah, he's legit. Go here. Do it. Do not deprive yourself from greatness.

I will say that everyone' in my group enjoyed the food and experience. The ambiance is so nice, not overly loud, with the live piano. It's definitely a vibe. Unfortunately, my entree wasn't a hit for me - the shrimp & grits were vinegar-y, the Seabass was cooked well, but lacked flavor. Tried the braised ribs, not impressive at all and could use more oomph (seasoning). I've never returned so many entrees, so I just sucked it up and decided I would put my own touches on it. It was better the next day, but for the price point, I shouldn't have to do anything. The spicy margarita is a definite YES!! Stefan, our waiter was great, very accommodating! Overall, great experience, I'm sure we'll be back.

First Impression The greeter, unfortunately, was not very sociable or welcoming. As the first point of contact, that role sets the tone and atmosphere. A warm smile and engaging greeting would have elevated the entrance experience. Ambiance & Decor Absolutely excellent. The ambiance is intimate, romantic, and perfect for a date night. The decor gives upscale speakeasy vibes -- very fitting for the concept. Service Our waiter was extraordinary. Attentive, professional, and genuinely concerned about our experience. When he noticed my lamb was not cooked to the requested medium-well, he immediately offered to have it corrected. His demeanor alone elevated the evening. Cocktails We ordered an Old Fashioned and an Apricot cocktail (Apricot Sidecar). Presentation and flavor were top-tier. Balanced, smooth, and beautifully garnished. Easily one of the best parts of the night. Appetizer They were out of crab cakes, which was disappointing. We ordered the bacon appetizer, which leaned heavily toward pork belly -- more fat than traditional bacon. The plating and accompaniments were visually stunning and paired nicely with the entrées, but the texture ratio was off. Entrée #1 - Short Ribs, Mash & Asparagus Plating: Excellent Portion size: Generous Flavor: Underwhelming While visually impressive, the dish lacked depth in seasoning and overall flavor. I would rate it . Entrée #2 - New Zealand Lamb & Risotto Requested medium-well; served closer to medium. The waiter graciously had it corrected. The lamb itself lacked strong seasoning -- for effort. The risotto, unfortunately, was overcooked and resembled mashed potatoes in texture. While it wasn't under-seasoned, the structure and execution were not there. Risotto is technical and requires precision. I would rate it . Side - Sweet Potato "Pecan Casserole" Now let's talk about this. I loved it. For someone who appreciates the simplicity of a fresh sweet potato without excessive sugar, marshmallows, or heavy additions -- this was perfect. It tasted like a beautifully mashed sweet potato topped with a pecan strudel. It wasn't a traditional casserole in the sugary Southern sense, but it was balanced and well executed. This was a win for me. Overall Ambiance: Service: Cocktails: Food Execution: - depending on dish Itta Bena shines in atmosphere, service, and bar program. The kitchen has strong presentation, but seasoning and technical consistency need refinement.
