They get their peaches from a local farmers market, and I must say it was fresh and worth every penny. Hubby had the strawberry cream, and I got a mini strawberry lemonade for baby! It is a rather large place for an ice cream shop and it was HOPPING when we stopped in on Saturday night. It was so busy that the larger parking lot was full and people were parking at a nearby bank that was closed for the evening. They make all of their ice cream in house and also make homemade waffle bowls. Sadly they were out of the waffle bowls so we didn't get a chance to try those. I decided on the coconut brown sugar and it did not disappoint. It was super tasty with the perfect amount of coconut flakes. You heard me, it has actual coconut flakes instead of just having coconut flavor. That's a sign of some true homemade ice cream. My husband had the salted caramel and was enjoying it so much that I had to take a bite. It was divine as well...not your average bland caramel at all. It was super rich and tasty. Definitely give them a try if you are ever in the area. The staff were super nice and they were happy to help. They also sell pints for you to take home and enjoy some more of their tasty ice cream!

La Michoacana offers a wide variety of fresh, natural flavor popsicles, ice cream, fruit, and more! I wanted to expand my parents' cultural horizons so I took them here on a random Saturday afternoon. We ordered a couple paletas and a medium serving of ice cream. My mom's coconut paleta tastes amazing - soft, rich in flavor and not too sweet. My dad had the pineapple ice cream, which for a medium was generously on the large side. Not too sweet and a little bit sour just like a real pineapple. My guava paleta was a bit on the hard size - perhaps a little too icy because of the lack of dairy. While the guava paleta was good not too sweet, it might have been a bit too natural as it was chunky and filled with many tooth-shattering seeds. I'd probably pass on it the next time. Overall, I'd defintely return and introduce this place to other gringos like myself. In typical fashion, I forgot to take a picture of my actual food. So, I took a picture of some of the selection instead, enjoy!
