Lately when I go to Insomnia Cookies it is for the ice cream! They have a variety of flavors to choose from. During the summer months I enjoyed the Superman flavor. They no longer have that, so I just get the good ole fashion Butter Pecan or Cookies and Cream. This location is small and has a bar. style seating are, but only for about five people. The service was quick as well. Cool location! read more

I was recently gifted a box of 6 Chocolate Chunk cookies from Insomnia Cookies! I love a good cookie so was excited to dive in. As the cookies were not warm when I received them from my friend, I popped one of the cookies in the microwave to heat it up and soften the chocolate a bit. The chocolate chunks quickly melted and became ooey-gooey! I quickly bit in to try the cookie as this was my first time ever having an insomnia cookie. While the cookie was good, I didn't think it was anything remarkable or something I needed to write home about. If the bite was with a chocolate chunk in it then it was excellent... soft and delicious. If the bite didn't have a chunk in it, then it was below average almost a bit crunchy. With the two texture combinations (and deliciousness combinations)... I averaged them out to say they're just Ok/ average. I would definitely go back and try other cookie flavors but this wouldn't be my go-to spot for a chocolate chunk treat. read more

Perfect for late night cravings! They always arrive warm and ready to melt in my mouth since I order delivery. I don't recommend doing any special toppings/customizations since they don't usually pay attention to that on delivery orders, but otherwise you're in for a treat! My favorite is the peanut butter cup and I also like that they always keep the vegan cookie wrapped separately if you order those. read more

The brookies were made fresh and still hot from the oven. The cookies were delicious. But let's talk about the customer service. EJ was fantastic. He's charismatic and helpful. He made fresh brookies for my nieces. The white chocolate macadamia nut cookies were great too. EJ has such a great personality--who knew buying cookies was a fun experience?? THE BEST!! i've been about a dozen times in the past two years and i can honestly say that every single time i have always had a good experience. the cookies are always amazing, the staff is incredibly nice and patient no matter who's on shift, and the above all thing that made me type this up... their delivery!! placed a delivery at 10:13pm and it was here by 10:40pm! the driver was super nice, the communication was super easy, and quick delivery that late is beyond rare so i think they did an amazing job with that as well. one last thing... they ALWAYS package things so smartly... they always separate the vegan cookies from the rest so i never have to worry about asking for that and i never think to worry about it ahead of time so i really appreciate how well they cater to allergies and preferences. this location is the best!!! read more

As you can imagine, these cookies tend to sell out as the night goes on. I first stopped by about 1:30am, and there were only 4 varieties left on that Saturday. I wasn't totally thrilled about the options, but we decided s'mores, lemon, and double chocolate chip to go. However, I was very surprised by the warmed white chocolate chunks in the lemon cookie! I would definitely get this one again. If you are not in love with the flavors of cookies they have left, get ice cream or brownies instead. There is nothing complicated about this cookie concept. Only complaint I'll say right off the jump is there is no seating. Other than that, they have got customer service down to an art. Serving Blue Bell ice cream is a plus too! Our second time being here. The quality is great and tasty. Need a late night sweet snack? This is the place. The only reason it got 3 stars was because they were out of every cookie except 2 flavors (sugar and chocolate chip). A bunch of people before and after us left with nothing. When the name of pretty much the only thing you sell is in the name of your company, it doesn't work well to run out of it. It's like when KFC runs out of chicken. read more

I love the fact that there is a fun dessert place on the highland strip now. I was excited to go in and try it! The cookies tasted good, but I don't think they were worth the asking price. And the scoop of ice cream that you get with it is tiny. I got insomnia cookies delivered right to my door from the Beale st location. The delivery driver was so nice and pleasant I didn't get his name but he was medium complexion guy with dreads. The cookies was still warm when I ate them and they were so fresh. I love how they took the time and wrote my message on my box it meant a lot. read more

Up late and let my four year old stay up late tonight (it's Saturday! Why not!?). Got a craving for warm cookies and didn't feel like going to the store. It can get pricey if you have a large order but to me it's worth it. These cookies are insane. Plus they deliver them to your door warm in about 10 or 15 minutes for a minimal fee. You can even include your tip in the order finalization. My four year old was giddy when the delivery lady pulled up. She was super nice as well. My favorite part is the ease of the online ordering. We haven't tried all the varieties yet but the peanut butter cookie is like warm sweet peanut butter melting in your mouth. The chocolate chunk also well received. I've really been wanting to check this place out so after a concert at The New Daisy I thought it was the perfect time. It wasn't that late, probably like 12am and my friend and were the only customers. The guy behind the counter was pleasant and gave us time to figure out what we wanted. I decided on the deluxe chocolate chip cookie and a regular snickerdoodle cookie. I thought that was simple enough. I knew I wanted to bring something back for my mother so I got the cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream. I had a 15 min drive back home and I knew it would melt some,but that wasn't a big deal. I was surprised to find out they didn't have any carry out packaging to fit the sandwich . So basically I was supposed to carry a melting cookie sandwich out on a tiny styrofoam plate! My friend thoughtfully asked him the the square pizza box container to use. On my way home I kept smelling peanut butter and I kept thinking "please God, don't let that be a peanut butter cookie in my bag lol" Annnnd I get home, yup he didn't give me the deluxe chocolate chip cookie, I got the deluxe peanut butter cookie! I was done, I tossed it into the trash along with my snickerdoodle that now smelled like peanut butter. My experience wasn't that great and I probably won't be back, mostly because the cookie selection isn't all that fabulous but if you like it, I love it! read more

Ordered the special they had going tonight " four chocolate chunk for $4.00". The cookies are kept behind the counter in a warmer and are placed in a box ( like a small pizza box). They were warm, chocolatey, melty, and GOOD!. If you're not a fan of chocolate, maybe you should stay away from the chocolate chunk. They have a decent selection, but if you're wanting anything with pecans or walnuts you're not going to find it here :( They only have the macadamia nut cookie. Terrible experience!! I have heard similar stories from others. I paid $17 for 6 cookies (with tip). They still aren't here and it has been over an hour! Customer service was not local. There are so many candies to look at and they even had some Labubu balloons my kids were asking for. It's a fun place. We love the Chicago mix popcorn! Checkout was easy and $16 for 4 ice creams was a very reasonable price IMO.

We've come here multiple times and the service has been fine. But we get here at 9:20p, it's…read morefreezing outside, and a worker is waving at us telling us that we can't come in and need to go through the drive thru. Very rude and unprofessional. There were other workers in there so it's not like she was the only one working. No signage. Just rude and mouthing "drive thru" in a very abrupt and impatient way. Very lazy. We did not go through the drive thru which she was probably happy about because she didn't have to work, but this should upset the baskin Robbin's manager as you've lost business.
