We've come here multiple times and the service has been fine. But we get here at 9:20p, it's freezing outside, and a worker is waving at us telling us that we can't come in and need to go through the drive thru. Very rude and unprofessional. There were other workers in there so it's not like she was the only one working. No signage. Just rude and mouthing "drive thru" in a very abrupt and impatient way. Very lazy. We did not go through the drive thru which she was probably happy about because she didn't have to work, but this should upset the baskin Robbin's manager as you've lost business. read more

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! I know it is getting cold outside as it is now Fall! However, this is one place that I have to visit year around. They have a new peppermint flavor just yin time for the holidays and it is DELICIOUS! It is located right at the corner of poplar and highland. The traffic is always busy here, but you can garuntee fast and friendly service. The staff is courteous and are very productive. They take out time with each customer if you want to explore different flavors and they are always their to answer questions. The person on the loud speaker in the drive-thru can never understand what I say, and after repeating my order several times, I usually give up and drive to the pick-up window to place my order. The servers are consistently surly and make me ask for a napkin and spoon. One would think that would be standard fare for cups of ice cream in a drive-thru. I have so many fond memories of coming to this place late at night with my friends when I lived at the dorms at University of Memphis a few years ago. We always had great service and a great time. The Highland store location was the worst experience I've ever had at in a Baskin Robbins. I purchased three kids scoop ice creams and they all had different size amount of ice cream in the cup I was told by one of the workers that they were supposed to be measured they were not. I feel like I didn't get my money's worth and this is the first time this has ever happened to me in a Baskin Robbins my daughter told me after the fact that she didn't enjoy her ice cream it tastes old so I do not see myself going back to this location and I don't think you should go either. I order a ice cream cake Monday January 8 2018 online. The order was sent to store in Memphis Tennessee on Poplar Ave. The cake was to be picked up on Thursday January 11 after 1 PM. When I went to pick up the cake the manage knew nothing about our order, all I got was I been staying late at night making cakes I had no knowledge of this order. How is a cake order four day ago, not acknowledge by the store it is sent to, someone should daily be checking to see if all order for the day was received. The only thing I was told by manger that they were never notified but the cake was in their system, how was it missed. This cake was for a birthday party now I have to at the last minute find a replacement for the cake. There is not excuse for a business to be managed this way. I went here today and the young lady who wears the heavy makeup(don't know her name) did not give me enough ice cream on my Banana split. If I'm paying 6.29 per banana split, I expect some ice cream to be on there. My banana split was thrown together and the ice cream containers were barely full at this location. I won't be back again. Sadly, we had a terrible experience at this location. Online and on the front door the sign says that the store closes at 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights. A group of friends and I chose to meet up for dessert after watching the Grizz game only to be told after we ordered at 9:55 that the "lobby would be closing in 5 minutes" and the front door was then locked and the open sign turned off. The associate then stated that the lobby closes at 10 and the drive-thru closes at 10:30. A few minutes later my 30 year old friends and I were asked to leave, though we were obviously not finished with our ice cream and the store was technically not closed. This store is everything one could expect of a franchise, and more. They seem to always be remodeling, or adding stuff on. They recently added a patio which is a nice addition. Lots of fun. They have a drive-through although with the friendly help inside i never use it anyways. Honestly i don't eat a lot of ice cream but when i have gone here it has always been great. read more
