I tried this place on Monday October 3rd, 2022. When I walk into the place you just noticed how lively and colorful the place is. While you waiting trying to figure out what ice cream you want you can rock out to some music in the background. I tried a sample of the popcorn ice cream they have and it definitely taste like the popcorn at the movie theater. There was a bit of a line, but the employees clearly have a system here and we were helped fairly quickly. Margie's offers a menu of pre-crafted creations, or you can make your own. It was hard to pick which flavor and toppings I wanted because there are so many delicious options, but I ended up going with a classic favorite of mine: vanilla fro-yo with bananas and Heath bars mixed in, on a chocolate-dipped waffle cone. As I said, it was a very quick trip from walking in to walking out, the employees were friendly, and the place is super clean. Wow the flavors! They can make literally anything you can dream up if they have it but we mostly ordered from the main menu. So you've had ice cream mixed on a cold stone before, that's nothing new. But, the freshness of the ice cream here is the difference. Every single bite was completely new and hit me with a different flavor combo. The portions are huge!!!! We had three waffle cones with mixed flavors and two one cup scoops with mixed topping and it was $28. That's truly not bad for the amount and quality we received. The only complaint I had is that we didn't have access to napkins that we really needed. The workers were so busy we couldn't ask for more. Definitely will be returning! Best Hot Chocolate Ever! This used to be part of the Maggie Moo chain but they have recently become an independent store. I came in here randomly because I wanted to try their hot chocolate. It actually took a really long time because it was so late they had turned the machine off. I was super worried it was just a mix but I found out they actually make it themselves from scratch. And might I say how wonderfully awesome it was? I MEAN IT WAS GREAT. Ahem. I let all my friends who wanted a sip try it and they all agreed it was amazing. I just love it so much. I was very impressed with how accommodating they are of peanut allergies. They got stuff from an entirely new tub for my roomie so he wouldn't have to worry about cross contamination with their peanut yogurt flavors. They mainly sell frozen yogurt (though I will be back for the hot chocolate...) so I got some for hubby. The low fat mango ended up being the best of everything I tried.
