I ordered a chicken and pineapple pizza and instead they gave me pepperoni, even though I don't eat pork. When I tried to address the mistake, the staff was rude and unhelpful. The manager, Junaid Malik, not only mishandled the situation but also charged me twice for the same order. On top of that, he wasn't wearing a face mask during a time when safety is very important, and I was made to come out during curfew because of their error. They also failed to inform me whether the food was halal, which caused even more frustration. My family decided to try Basil's Pizza Subs & More... HUGE LET DOWN! The order was being delivered by a third party, and there was no safety seal on the pizza boxes. The quality of the food should cause the person(s) in the kitchen nothing but shame. The subs had chopped cabbage... not lettuce. One of the subs had the wrong cheese. We were charged for extra cheese, which wasn't provided. The fish was fried to the point where it was very dark and appeared to be burnt. There was a hair on one of the subs. The order took a very long time. I saw absolutely no reason that made the time we had to wait, worth an apparent lack of effort given to ensuring quality. So the mixed reviews had me concerned, but I had my grandsons with me and they love pizza!! we were waiting for our vehicle to be fixed so we decided to go get pizza and hopefully by the time we were done, it will be ready! I can't begin to boast on this place. The pizza was so good. My grandkids ate three slices of piece and they are two and three it's thin crust but the New York style everything was so good. Their customer service needs improvement. I ordered what's written in there menu, a BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomatoe). Then there's an add on button if you would like to add condiments or extras. I pressed Mayo. I received a bacon Mayo sandwich. I called to tell them and instead of addressing the issue or replacing/refunding she told me there was a miscommunication. If that's the case, they should not have an add on section. I did not say leave the Lettuce or tomato out. See attached. It says BLT, with the added Mayo. Ordered through Uber eats. When we got our food, they missed half our order. When we called them the woman tried to blame the Uber driver that he never gave us all our food and asked if we got two bags of food bc she packed two bags of food. Personnel delivering food was very rude and has no customer service. The manager at the establishment when called also has no customer service. Uber allows for 8 minutes from first contact and driver left 5 minutes after first contact, when he came back , I was greater with harsh words and treats. His behavior as well as his managers behavior was deplorable and I do not believe that their attitude is ethical or a proper display of Uber standards. I don't know if they are racist or sexist but this is not the first time that they were called out for their horrible behavior . It's hard to get exactly what you ask for. The food is good, the customer service is great. I don't know if they just don't pay much attention or if they don't really care.
