Shortly afterward, the manager, Kareem, came to our table and simply stared at me without saying a word. I politely asked whether Sylvia had passed along our request, and he responded rudely by saying, "No, this is the policy, and if you don't like it, you can leave. That's life." To be clear, we understand that businesses have policies, and we respect that. What bothered us was not the decision itself but the hostility and lack of professionalism. I was polite throughout the interaction, and had the response been delivered respectfully, we would have gladly stayed. Instead, we decided to leave without eating. I also want to emphasize that Sylvia was extremely kind and professional. Unfortunately, the interaction with the manager left a very negative impression.
