This place has great Korean BBQ and Hot Pot. This is the second time we come here and we really enjoyed the variety and quality. It's a quaint, clean and nice restaurant. They have revolving side dish trays and a good variety of meats and seafood for barbecue and for hot pot. The Service was good super friendly folks working at the restaurant and very accommodating even for a large group that has has to be split up into two tables. My husband and I were craving Korean BBQ amd we wanted to try a different place than the usually one we got to and boy we were so glad we did! This restaurant was so clean and so organized! Everyone was so nice and friendly too. What we loved the most about here is that everything was available buffet style including the raw meats, veggies, rice, and sauce bar. We were able to get the amount we wanted without having to wait and ask for the server like typical Korean bbq restaurants. Price is great too! It's $30 for the bbq only or $36 for bbq and hot pot. The service and seating was quick and smooth! They bring water, clear plates, and bring your broth promptly. We just did hot pot and no kbbq, so I can't speak to the kbbq side. There's a conveyer belt which brings noodles, veggies, tofu, and shrimp paste through. It was a very cool experience, but after we sat down and grabbed a few items like ramen noodles, bok choy, and tofu some items were never replenished during the two hours. By the end I was waiting for like 45 min for some specific things to pass through and they were always empty. It's nice that the meat and proteins are a self-serve option, but the signs on the bar for them are a bit mismatched which was a bit confusing at first when you're looking for things. However, they had a lot of different seafood and meat options like crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, clams, and more. They also have a great sauce selection, and gloves for people getting their meats. This is the first hot pot place I have been to with a conveyor belt. The location is in a strip mall not far from the parks (less than 10 minutes). Parking was easy out front and it was not that crowded on this Monday evening. You could tell most of the people there were in town for the parks and not locals due to their clothing and conversation. It is AYCE and we were seated immediately and picked our soup base. You can pay additional to have the BBQ option as well, which gets you an additional selection of meats. Everything is self serve in a buffet set up, including the sauce and meats. The items that come around on the belt are noodles, veggies, and other non-meat items. Everything was good. I looked that they had separated out fatty brisket vs lean brisket. They did run out and took about 10 minutes to refill all the meats, so we were meatless for a bit. I would suggest refilling one at a time, so there are other options while one was being refilled. My FAVORITE meal I had in Orlando - highly recommend. While it is a couple dollars more than other KBBQ/hot pot around, I think it's worth it. All of the meats, including KBBQ are self serve which I liked. As a solo diner, I like being able to not take huge portions. Every single item I tried was absolutely delicious. They offered such a huge selection - blue crab, scallops, cuttlefish, frog legs, short rib, ribeye and tons of marinated meats, just to name a few. They definitely have more unique items here than I've seen at other places. It was cool trying a frog leg (surprisingly good) and I was impressed with the ENTIRE ribeyes to try. We realized that we didn't eat dinner and were very hungry, so while I turned the corner towards the market, we saw Boil Spot Hot Pot, so we went to see what they had. So, they have basically had 2 choices, all you can eat hot pot, and for $5 more, all you can eat BBQ and Hot Pot. Guess which one we chose! Stupid me, I didn't take any pictures . Well, anyway, they have a lot of choices, but you have to look around to find everything. The hot pot meats are on a chill table, and they have everything you can think of. Then, they're is the bbq meats. My favorites were the kalbi and the spicy squid. After that is the slice meats, then the sauce bar. On a conveyor belly is a variety of items like vegetables and noodles. They're also ice cream cups at the very front of the chill table. My family decided on just hotpot but the kbbq options looked really impressive from the buffet! There was a large seafood section for hotpot and I recall meat options included fatty beef, lamb, regular beef, and pork. They had frog legs here too! In case you're wondering, the texture is definitely similar to chicken. They also have a sauce section with so many options and included suggestions on what sauces tasted great together on the signs. Nice touch for people who don't eat hotpot often! The location is super clean and we were attended to regularly by not only our waitress but others who happened to walk by and noticed we needed something. The vegetables were also on a conveyer belt with the top wrapped in seran wrap so it seemed very sanitary! After multiple rounds of food, they also brought out fresh fruit for us! While I really loved 818 Hotpot, they had the fruit out as part of the buffet, but I feel this location offered fresh fruit that gets cut and brought out to us as soon as they noticed us slowing down our eating, so it was definitely a nice touch! I have to imagine all of the 5 star reviews were written by family because this wasn't just the worst in Orlando, but may be the worst KBBQ we've ever been to. Starting with the positive, the hot pot broths were the best part of the meal. Good, clean tasting broths all around. They turned the conveyor on while we were there and that is always a real nice touch. Hot pot meats and additives were decent. Wish I had stopped with the soup. Unfortunately that's where it ended. The decent hot pot couldn't help the trash KBBQ or service. Selection of meats wasn't bad. Short ribs were meaty and meats were lean. Where in the world was all the K in the KBBQ and why on gods green earth would you put paper slathered in imitation butter spread on the cooking grill?! This just made the meat take longer to cook and made it rubbery. How are you going to have KBBQ with no white rice and only 1 type of kimchi?! No white rice was the topper. We asked for white rice and they clearly scooped out some of the rice prepped for their fried rice since it was par cooked and had what I'm guessing is some of the imitation butter spread from the grill paper in it. I don't want to disrespect any local businesses but I personally have had better experiences at every other hot pot or Korean bbq restaurant I've been to. This is a typically a type of experience I love. Hot pot and Korean bbq is delicious food and it's fun to cook it by yourself to your liking. I feel as though other places, such as K Pot, have more offerings and better seasoned food for better prices. We also had very rushed and unclear service. The kid who brought our drinks only seemed very annoyed every time he stopped by our table and we asked for nothing more than water. Nothing was explained to us (some of our party was first timers) so we had to do a lot of guess work on what food we could get for our hot pot. And beyond that the food was flavorless, even with the sauce bar. If you're looking for a fun hot pot or Korean bbq experience, save your money and go to a place where it's good. read more

Got the hot pot/kbbq combo and we're now looking forward to ordering Pizza Hut tonight Service- seated quickly which was nice. But never asked for our drink order, even when I asked about the boba special I saw on a sign at the outlet nearby. The water kept running by without checking in, and when I got his attention, someone interrupted and he helped them out while I was asking about noodles for the hot pot which seemed rude. KBBQ- hardly any options food wise. They don't offer the typical sides, sauces, or anything that normally comes with hot pot. Just a few meat selections and that's quite literally it. They placed a paper w/ oil on the grill which made even the smallest piece of meat take forever to cook. So we removed the paper because it was getting ridiculous. No plain rice, radish, or sauces let alone cheese corn, rice paper, veggies or anything. Meat still took forever to cook and was rubbery. The pieces were also cut very thick and large making the bbq process take even more time. Hot pot- meat options are out but that's it. Took a few times to order noodles, rice cake and such. Brought one plate of noodles we ordered and then another type that we didn't order which is fine but bring out the one we ordered as well. General- everytime my mom put meat on her plate to eat from the hot pot, the waiter took it. I appreciate that this place offers both KBBQ and Hot Pot instead of one or the other. You can order Hot Pot on its own or the combo option. I'm not a big soup person but I used the soup broth to cook the potstickers that came on the conveyer belt before cooking the edges on the grill. They also offer some really good meat selections, and the ribs and bulgogi were my favorite. I like that they had parchment paper on the grill to keep it cleaner and came to change it out when it got to dark and sticky each time, you just have to ask for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our first hot pot experience! If you haven't done hot pot before, you choose a broth and which ingredients go into your broth for a custom culinary experience. The meats / sauces are along a buffet line. If you'd like, you can also do Korean BBQ (we did!) - Those meats are also on the buffet line along with some veggies (appropriately marked). If you go during the day when they're not as busy, you'll need to order your veggies / extras to be brought table side. Make sure not to order too much, as there is an appropriate charge for food waste. When your items are done, you fish them out and then you dip them in your preferred sauce (you're encouraged to make your own, they have some suggestions at the bar.) I love the boil spot in Tampa and thought this one would be just as good, but I was disappointed. The bone broth had no flavor and the vegetables didn't seem fresh. The limited selection of sauces for the hot pot weren't good.. I tried the sweet and sour one and it had an overbearing vinegar taste. The one in Tampa at least had teriyaki and Hoisin sauce... this one didn't. I think it's overpriced for basically soup. I haven't seen to many AYCE places with the good raw seafood that I saw here, including squid, octopus, clams, scallops, mussels, frog, crabs, etc. Continue with marinated and unmarinated beef, pork, chicken and short ribs, beef tendon, lamb and whole steaks and pork chops. Lots of assorted tofu, fish balls, dumplings, beef tendon, duck blood, noodles and other assorted protein-y treats. Really fantastic DIY sauce bar with anything you can dream of to put into your dipping bowl. Veggies are fine, coming around on a central conveyer belt. I got the szechuan broth for cooking. Too much mala and not enough other flavorings. I think next time I'll get one of the other broths and doctor it up with flavorings from the sauce bar. The restaurant used some kind of parchment paper on the grill to keep it clean. It's obviously easier to change this out than put on a new grill surface, but it prevents the meats from browning the way I'm accustomed to. I think I'd prefer bare metal for the cooking surface.
