I have plenty of grocery stores within a few miles of my home, but I continue to choose this Bashas because it truly feels like coming home to visit family. Adam in the meat department always greets customers with a smile and remembers you by name. He even remembers past conversations and follows up the next time you see him, which is such a personal touch. On my latest visit, he helped me with a ceviche recipe and shared cooking tips along with recommendations from their great selection of meats. His knowledge and customer service are exceptional. David in the produce department provides that same welcoming, family-like experience. Keyon has helped me both at the register and in the meat department. He's eager to learn, consistently polite, and always displays great manners. Richie has done an outstanding job building a team that reflects his vision and Bashas' long-standing commitment to serving the community. It's clear that customer service is a priority here, and it shows in every interaction. Keep up the great work, everyone! You make shopping here a pleasure. read more

Terrible. Monday Oct 29 at 6pm. Barely got there after work before home. Butcher said he's closed because he is filling in and not staying. I asked if I could grab a couple of steaks and he just said Nope. Bashas has really gone under. Will never ever go back and will talk about this to everyone I see for months. This is not a one off. Happening all the time at Ellsworth and Brown. read more

So I'm at the CVS just near Bashas, waiting on a prescription to be filled and I need a money order so I figured I get it while I'm waiting. Drive over to Bashas and go to the customer service desk. There's nobody there, within a minute or so this old a$$ lady approaches and says "how can I help you?" I tell her I need to get a money order, and in a disrespectful tone she says "WE DON'T SELL MONEY ORDERS HERE, OR CASHIERS CHECKS" she told me like I was some loser, I could definitely sense a sprinkle of discriminatory tone in her voice. Walmart, Albertsons, Frys, WinCo sells money orders all day!!! Old B###h, if I was an old white male/female probably would've gotten better service. read more

Once again gave this grocery a chance only based on how close it is. Should have known better. Compared a few items that I regularly buy elsewhere and noticed all were at least a dollar or more. I get there is inflation but all the other stores are nowhere near the prices that this store is charging. Lastly I got home only to find one of the two items I bought was expired by 2 months. Frankly this means there is no one checking their inventory. Normal grocers have computer generated lists telling their stock clerks what to pull it place on sale before expiration. Upon checking out I took note once again of everyone working. Honestly their faces tell the story. They all look miserable and unhappy. Sad what this store has become. I remember a time where smiling faces. They even had a child play area check in which children loved. I'm not quite sure if this location is the norm for their stores. If it is I highly suggest you look into revamping the location immediately. In this day an age with super grocery stores and competition that does a good job there's no room for your companies image to be ruined. read more

Both Barbara (in the meat department) & Jett (cashier) were very kind and friendly. I will come back based on their customer service alone. This location has some great deals & the store has an easy to access flow. Thanks Barbara & Jett for your exemplary customer service. read more

This store is a nightmare. My mom witnessed Melanie mocking/making fun of a mentally ill disabled lady and my mom got upset and then we continued shopping and when we checked out they made us wait 10-15 minutes because they couldn't figure out how to finish our order after paying because we returned one item. These people are not professionals. April fool her name tag off so we couldn't see her name. read more

I love this location at Bashas! The staff have always been friendly to me there & they are just as professional as they are friendly and kind. Over the past few years, I began going there for the sale items (great sales!) Anytime I've had a question, the staff has always been happy to help. Help with a smile & and a good attitude! Their fresh veggies and fruits always last when taken home. Also, the Bashas deli is bar none awesome! The hot, fresh foods are scrumptious! Like Grandma's and mom's home cooking. My personal favorite is their handmade fresh pizzas, I had a pepperoni pizza one time and then a pepperoni, sausage, green bell peppers, black olive and onion pizza, they were tied with Rosati's (my personal fav) and I am picky about pizza. I will be eating their hot, fresh, made deli foods more often. So, high quality and affordable! Truly delicious, made in their stone oven. I highly recommend! A special thank you to Rachel, who was working the customer service desk, for helping me set up my account. She basically walked me through the entire process. Thank you again, Rachel! She was happy to help me (because I'm not tech savvy at all), and she made sure I had done it right. She even showed me how to use the digital coupons. The whole time, she had an awesome attitude. That speaks volumes for a person & for whom they are employed. So if you live in the neighborhood, stop in and do some shopping, and try the hot deli foods. I highly recommend this Bashas location. read more

This store is convenient to my home but they don't treat customer inquires well at all. Can't get their pharmacy to pick up the phone or return a message over multiple days. I call the front desk for help and they just cut me off, put me on hold, and never return. I'm rethinking going to Safeway now that snowbirds of AJ are gone! read more

Absolutely mortified! I bought GoGo Squeeze Applesauce just a week ago from this Bashas' to then find out it was 3 months expired!! Nobody took it from the shelve to make sure it was okay to sell. That is absolutely disgusting. read more

I stopped shopping at Bashas months ago. The cashier was rude to me and the customer before me. The customer asked how much was the bill, the cashier pointed to the screen and said it's right there. When I tried to get my basha card scanned the cashier said she'll do when she's ready. I left the groceries and the store and haven't been back. It's apparent they don't need my business. read more

i shop here regularly as it it right next door, but today was the straw that broke the camels back, went in looking for a couple pieces of cod. As I approached the seafood department the associate was at the counter pulling fish out . I said I would like 1 1/2 lbs of cod. To which he replied I'm closing I can't serve you... in amazement I replied back you're telling me you won't wrap up that cod that is currently IN YOUR HAND and sell it to me ? He said I'm closing . I've had bad experiences here but this was over the top! It was litreally in his hand! read more

We have been giving this place the benefit of the doubt because it used to be our favorite store but in the past year, they've shut down all regular registers at night and the self checkout system is seriously glitchy. We've never been able to check out without multiple log ins from a cashier. Tonight's cashier literally refused to key in a produce code for us because she "has to be available to all customers." There was only one other person checking out. We won't be back. read more

I won't be going back to this particular Basha's. Word of advice to the manager: Keep April G. Off the registers and away from customers until she gets an attitude adjustment - training or retraining in Customer Service is a must for her. Not one pleasantry came from her mouth (Hello, Thank you, or Goodbye). Also, what's with the poorly stocked shelves at this store? read more

This five star review is based off of SERVICE. In particular, the Basha's deli and bake shop staff. My best friend and I came in hungry for a sandwich and were helped by Austin and Kathy. Austin and Kathy K were nothing short of amazing. They were running back and forth making sure all customers were attended to as well as worked with a sense of urgency. One example was when an older woman asked Austin for another straw because they were all out of straws. Austin RAN to the back, nicely handed the lady the straw and ran to the straw dispenser to refill them immediately. After that he ran back to the kitchen and took 2-3 more orders. That's the kind of worker everyone wants. Thanks Austin and Kathy!! read more

My go to grocery store, the staff is nice, the selection is great and the prices are fair!

Came to this location to find a cake with buttercream frosting around 3:30pm. There was a cake already made in the display case, it took us 20 minutes to get someone to help us. The lady working the fried food section looked at us multiple times and didn't offer to get someone to help us. We had to go to the deli and the lady said the bakery was closed. She was rude and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her to grab us a cake that was already made. She acted as if we were asking her bake a fresh cake. The tag for the cake was facing away from the display so we asked what kind of cake it was and she said "I don't know read the tag. I work in the deli." The tag was only visible to her. She said it very snarky. I didn't get her name but she had a long braid and a undercut. She needs customer service training like yesterday, before breakfast. Won't pass Albertsons next time. Thanks for the cake bi**h. read more

This review is for the RUDE, heavyset girl that doesn't have time for anything. After hearing great reviews about your pizza, my wife and I REALLY wanted to try it. But because of your rude attitude and no time for questions, we changed minds. What a shame, because your other baked goods were awesome. Also, she is the ONLY person at Bashs' that we had any problem with. read more

This has been my local grocery store for over 20 years. Went the day before Thanksgiving, shopped, and saw some people in the parking lot that I knew. Got them to sign a petition I had been working on. Decided to stay because I see people I know here all the time. Got more signatures over two hours including from Bashes employees I knew. Short, small male store Manager comes out of the store, approached me while I was talking to a neighbor in the parking lot, invades our personal space, and starts barking at us that I had to leave and bragging that he could "have me removed". Why? Because I was having my friend sign a petition. I informed him, that the parking lot actually is the property of another company and he had no right, so he stormed off fuming. I went in after and asked him if he wanted to talk and he acted rude and like he didn't do anything wrong. I spoke to the Corporate Offices and they said as long as I was in the parking lot and not in their store it was fine and that manager was out of line. read more

Another Basha's with maximum one or two checkouts open and lines to check-out always so long you'll end up just leaving your selections on a shelf and walking out. Also, almost everything is 50-300% MORE EXPENSIVE than anywhere else. Especially on natural items. It's unbelievable that they can survive by consistently gouging its customers. On top of this their selection of produce and meat is limited. read more

All the good reviews date from 2014 and before. Since then, nothing but bad reviews and yet they deserve even more. Some of the cashiers there are lifers and give you bad attitude. Even the butcher looks pissed to work there. Not a kind word from anybody. Everything is overpriced, so I only go there where I need one or two items and then head to the self checkout. Oh, yeah, thanks for the self checkout! Now we don't have to deal with the poor attitude from the cashiers. Is the manager going to wake up or what? I pray this Basha's goes out of business like the one on Apache Trail so that Fry's or someone else buys this store. read more

This is a great place, I go here almost everyday. The staff is always nice and the produce is fresh and well stocked.

I feel that since my last aweful review someone's noticed, and did their best to staff the store more appropriately. I no longer wait 20 mins to get a loaf of bread. It's a lot closer to 5 which is great. And they're doing their best to offer affordable brands, even through you can still buy cheese here for $6 that is $3.50 at Fry's.. But really the icing on the cake is the cashier's. I mean damn. Maybe it's the fact that I buy alcohol here, or chocolate... Or am under 30 but every time I get in line the cashier's tone changes with me. It goes from Super upbeat with the woman in front of me in line and then when it's my turn to check out it's like I have b&#$@ written on my forehead? Like come on Becky how are you super fucking pleased talking to Sharon in front of me and then all of a sudden you frown when it's my turn? I've had like 5+ cashier's do this to me. My boyfriend says the same thing. Cashier's are nice until we get in line. Is it too much to ask for some courtesy? I come to this place like twice a week and you think after 2 years the women would start to notice you and be kind but nope. Rudest cashier's around. Nice to women their own age and everybody else but you. read more

Rude lady named heidi b . from the deli where the hot food areas at called in to ask if they had any burritos since at times they don't have any or have less than what I'm asking for and called in to check since I was in a bit hurry and it takes 8-15 min for them to cook and she "assumed" that we were prank calling cause she heard talking and "laughing" supposedly which was not the case at all and was rude from the beginning and hung up on me when I wasn't even done talking to her . Just rude not great service read more

Worst customer service ever!! The cashier gave my boyfriend such an attitude. All he did was walk up to check out and had the beer sitting in the belt and had his ID even sitting on top of the beer so the lady didn't have to ask! She looked at him, then back at the ID, then she looked st him again and if you know my boyfriend he will try to make you laugh at anything. So he made a silly face and she had the nerve to ask him, "Did you forget which ID you brought?" Who does that. Then he said no it was just a joke, then she started with even more attitude! Long story short, at one point she said she had the "power" pretty much to not sell him the beer, even though she didn't. He wasn't intoxicated, he wasn't being rude. She was just having a bad day I guess. Either way, she ruined my boyfriend's mood and all he was trying to do was make her laugh. After asking for the manger and getting moved over to customer service to pay for the beer, the lady cashier continued to talk bad about my boyfriend to other customers!!! In front of her manger also. She's got some nerve but why work in customer service if you can't even do your job right ? What's the point! Worst Bashas' Ever!!! That's saying something because we never even go to Bashas' for this reason!! If you're not over 50 years old, the cashiers treat you like sh*t! read more

I recently started shopping at this location as it is the closes grocery store to my house. First trip I was amazed! They had a calendar with daily dinner specials. As a busy professional working long hours and a single mom - this was going to be awesome! I waited for several weeks for their chicken fried steak. I show today. No chicken fried steak. The dinner was changed to lasagna. Really? Needless to say I am at a restaurant getting my fix and I will no longer.... ya'll just ruined it for me! read more
