Once again gave this grocery a chance only based on how close it is. Should have known better. Compared a few items that I regularly buy elsewhere and noticed all were at least a dollar or more. I get there is inflation but all the other stores are nowhere near the prices that this store is charging. Lastly I got home only to find one of the two items I bought was expired by 2 months. Frankly this means there is no one checking their inventory. Normal grocers have computer generated lists telling their stock clerks what to pull it place on sale before expiration. Upon checking out I took note once again of everyone working. Honestly their faces tell the story. They all look miserable and unhappy. Sad what this store has become. I remember a time where smiling faces. They even had a child play area check in which children loved. I'm not quite sure if this location is the norm for their stores. If it is I highly suggest you look into revamping the location immediately. In this day an age with super grocery stores and competition that does a good job there's no room for your companies image to be ruined. read more

This store is a nightmare. My mom witnessed Melanie mocking/making fun of a mentally ill disabled lady and my mom got upset and then we continued shopping and when we checked out they made us wait 10-15 minutes because they couldn't figure out how to finish our order after paying because we returned one item. I love this location at Bashas! The staff have always been friendly to me there & they are just as professional as they are friendly and kind. Over the past few years, I began going there for the sale items (great sales!) Anytime I've had a question, the staff has always been happy to help. Help with a smile & and a good attitude! Their fresh veggies and fruits always last when taken home. Also, the Bashas deli is bar none awesome! The hot, fresh foods are scrumptious! Like Grandma's and mom's home cooking. My personal favorite is their handmade fresh pizzas, I had a pepperoni pizza one time and then a pepperoni, sausage, green bell peppers, black olive and onion pizza, they were tied with Rosati's (my personal fav) and I am picky about pizza. I will be eating their hot, fresh, made deli foods more often. So, high quality and affordable! Truly delicious, made in their stone oven. I highly recommend! A special thank you to Rachel, who was working the customer service desk, for helping me set up my account. She basically walked me through the entire process. Thank you again, Rachel! She was happy to help me (because I'm not tech savvy at all), and she made sure I had done it right. She even showed me how to use the digital coupons. The whole time, she had an awesome attitude. We have been giving this place the benefit of the doubt because it used to be our favorite store but in the past year, they've shut down all regular registers at night and the self checkout system is seriously glitchy. We've never been able to check out without multiple log ins from a cashier. Tonight's cashier literally refused to key in a produce code for us because she "has to be available to all customers." i shop here regularly as it it right next door, but today was the straw that broke the camels back, went in looking for a couple pieces of cod. As I approached the seafood department the associate was at the counter pulling fish out . I said I would like 1 1/2 lbs of cod. This five star review is based off of SERVICE. In particular, the Basha's deli and bake shop staff. My best friend and I came in hungry for a sandwich and were helped by Austin and Kathy. Austin and Kathy K were nothing short of amazing. They were running back and forth making sure all customers were attended to as well as worked with a sense of urgency. One example was when an older woman asked Austin for another straw because they were all out of straws. Austin RAN to the back, nicely handed the lady the straw and ran to the straw dispenser to refill them immediately. After that he ran back to the kitchen and took 2-3 more orders. My go to grocery store, the staff is nice, the selection is great and the prices are fair!

Came to this location to find a cake with buttercream frosting around 3:30pm. There was a cake already made in the display case, it took us 20 minutes to get someone to help us. The lady working the fried food section looked at us multiple times and didn't offer to get someone to help us. We had to go to the deli and the lady said the bakery was closed. She was rude and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her to grab us a cake that was already made. She acted as if we were asking her bake a fresh cake. The tag for the cake was facing away from the display so we asked what kind of cake it was and she said "I don't know read the tag. I work in the deli." The tag was only visible to her. She said it very snarky. I didn't get her name but she had a long braid and a undercut. She needs customer service training like yesterday, before breakfast. Won't pass Albertsons next time. This has been my local grocery store for over 20 years. Went the day before Thanksgiving, shopped, and saw some people in the parking lot that I knew. Got them to sign a petition I had been working on. Decided to stay because I see people I know here all the time. Got more signatures over two hours including from Bashes employees I knew. Short, small male store Manager comes out of the store, approached me while I was talking to a neighbor in the parking lot, invades our personal space, and starts barking at us that I had to leave and bragging that he could "have me removed". Why? Because I was having my friend sign a petition. I informed him, that the parking lot actually is the property of another company and he had no right, so he stormed off fuming. I went in after and asked him if he wanted to talk and he acted rude and like he didn't do anything wrong. I spoke to the Corporate Offices and they said as long as I was in the parking lot and not in their store it was fine and that manager was out of line. read more

Another Basha's with maximum one or two checkouts open and lines to check-out always so long you'll end up just leaving your selections on a shelf and walking out. Also, almost everything is 50-300% MORE EXPENSIVE than anywhere else. Especially on natural items. It's unbelievable that they can survive by consistently gouging its customers. All the good reviews date from 2014 and before. Since then, nothing but bad reviews and yet they deserve even more. Some of the cashiers there are lifers and give you bad attitude. Even the butcher looks pissed to work there. Not a kind word from anybody. Everything is overpriced, so I only go there where I need one or two items and then head to the self checkout. Oh, yeah, thanks for the self checkout! Now we don't have to deal with the poor attitude from the cashiers. Is the manager going to wake up or what? This is a great place, I go here almost everyday. The staff is always nice and the produce is fresh and well stocked.

I feel that since my last aweful review someone's noticed, and did their best to staff the store more appropriately. I no longer wait 20 mins to get a loaf of bread. It's a lot closer to 5 which is great. And they're doing their best to offer affordable brands, even through you can still buy cheese here for $6 that is $3.50 at Fry's.. But really the icing on the cake is the cashier's. I mean damn. Maybe it's the fact that I buy alcohol here, or chocolate... Or am under 30 but every time I get in line the cashier's tone changes with me. It goes from Super upbeat with the woman in front of me in line and then when it's my turn to check out it's like I have b&#$@ written on my forehead? Like come on Becky how are you super fucking pleased talking to Sharon in front of me and then all of a sudden you frown when it's my turn? I've had like 5+ cashier's do this to me. Rude lady named heidi b . from the deli where the hot food areas at called in to ask if they had any burritos since at times they don't have any or have less than what I'm asking for and called in to check since I was in a bit hurry and it takes 8-15 min for them to cook and she "assumed" that we were prank calling cause she heard talking and "laughing" supposedly which was not the case at all and was rude from the beginning and hung up on me when I wasn't even done talking to her . Worst customer service ever!! The cashier gave my boyfriend such an attitude. All he did was walk up to check out and had the beer sitting in the belt and had his ID even sitting on top of the beer so the lady didn't have to ask! She looked at him, then back at the ID, then she looked st him again and if you know my boyfriend he will try to make you laugh at anything. So he made a silly face and she had the nerve to ask him, "Did you forget which ID you brought?" Who does that. Then he said no it was just a joke, then she started with even more attitude! Long story short, at one point she said she had the "power" pretty much to not sell him the beer, even though she didn't. He wasn't intoxicated, he wasn't being rude. After asking for the manger and getting moved over to customer service to pay for the beer, the lady cashier continued to talk bad about my boyfriend to other customers!!! I recently started shopping at this location as it is the closes grocery store to my house. First trip I was amazed! They had a calendar with daily dinner specials. As a busy professional working long hours and a single mom - this was going to be awesome! I waited for several weeks for their chicken fried steak. I show today. No chicken fried steak. The dinner was changed to lasagna. Really? Needless to say I am at a restaurant getting my fix and I will no longer.... ya'll just ruined it for me! read more

Okay, I'll leave an honest review. Been going there for 4 years and the only thing that has changed is the decor. The mgt is great as are a couple other folks in checkout, it stops after that. Last store out of town so at least 20% more on everything like the chevron station on the corner. I've held my tongue long enough, the meat dept is terrible, they know nothing. Don't ask anyone in produce about produce, you'll receive a blank stare. Tonight we went to the hot counter to grab a few pieces of chicken...yah, it was great, if you like hearing the guy coming to serve you say, "Jesus all I want to do is get the f outta here, " that was at 7:30pm on a sat night and you close at 10 big guy. It's true, they usually only have a max of 3 lanes open at 5pm during the week till they "need" to open more. We only go here now out of a quick need, a sprouts opened up 4 miles from us and I'll gladly spend much less and drive further. read more

This is the worst grocery on this side of town. Workers are never friendly, and often only one check lane open. Tonight they are open until 23:00 tonight, but it's only eight o'clock and doors on north side are locked. I came in these doors just before eight, and cashier watched me walk to that side at ten after eight, but did not let me know I could not exit there. There were over five people in line, with only one check out lane. Although it is the closest to me, will not be going back. Horrible customer service. read more
