I've only had catering here. Every few weeks we do a huge catering order at work. We started with about 20 people. As everyone saw the amazing food we were getting from Basha's, it's grown to about 50 people for lunch! This chicken is so juicy and delicious! Big too!! The spicy chicken packs a punch!! Omg so i ordered from here 10days ago for a pickup in September. They did not disappoint! I mean i feel like the fish could have been fried a lil harder to be crisper but baby, everything tasted good. It's possible that it being freshly boxed, the steam/heat could have caused the fish to get less crispy. Overall the place is clean. Look good, tastes good and smelled great. Went to both stores in Warren and new store in Clinton township. Both stores were dirty but the so called new store was the nastiest. Walked in picked up takeout order for 4 people. The customer service is absolutely terrible. No one greeted us. The kid with the long hair didn't even say a word to us, waited on drinks and he looked at us as if why were we still standing there. Prices aren't the same as online. We got charged extra. I had barely any fries with my me so rip off for the sides for sure. The hype on social media is so fake!! Fries were drenched in oil, so Nasty. The entire meal was deep soaked drenched in oil. Had to go back inside get the sauces that only took another 17 mins. Sauces were so watery disgusting!!! The kids working there today 1-23-2026 at 2:41pm need to get fired. I have ordered from this place numerous times. The food is delicious! I'm not a chicken tender fan, I'd rather eat fried chicken, but with this place.. I enjoy their chicken tenders better. The tenders are all white meat and juicy and a pretty good size. I enjoy both the original and the spicy flavors. The Basha service is up to par as well! I usually do phone orders and they are prompt to answer the phone. Also, when I ordered one time, I included fried okra.. after hanging up they called right back and told me that they didn't have any. That is nice of them, because some places wouldn't do that and would just tell you when you picked up the food. Not many places have fried okra, so when I saw this on the menu, we had to get it and they were good! I've tried their fried shrimp in the past, but their chicken tenders and bashas potatoes were more of a hit for me. I'm not a wedged potato fan, but theirs I can eat and enjoy! Every time we order from here, that's usually what we get now. The menu is a little pricy, or else we would be eating here all the time! But it's definitely understandable with the economy. I went to the Detroit location today, February 2, 2026. I ordered the ten piece dark chicken. I must say it was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and piping hot when I walked out. Nice pieces of golden broasted chicken made my lunch awesome. The people who worked there were friendly and down to earth. I told the workers that I found this place on instagram. Basha's is a dream come true for late night eats. I eat here probably more than anywhere else around. I have to admit, they aren't super consistent. Sometimes you get an extra chicken finger if one was really small to make up for it. Sometimes you're missing one. Sometimes they're all huge. Sometimes maybe only one is super big. Sometimes the butter gets all over your chicken fingers somehow. Sometimes there's hardly any butter. Sometimes you get enough potatoes for 3 meals. Sometimes it's just barely enough for one. Sometimes you get 3 sauces for a meal. Sometimes you get 3 sauces for 3 meals. (It's usually 2 sauces per meal) Know what's funny though? It doesn't matter how much your order might differ from time to time: It's still better than what you'd get from something like KFC or Chicken Shack 100% of the time. If they mess up a bit too far and you complain, you're taken care of with no grief given. The staff here are all great. The standards here are already at a bar so high that they can afford a degree of inconsistency. Like even at their worst they're still killing their competition. They have THE BEST chicken fingers. THE BEST potatoes. THE BEST sauces. The rest of the menu isn't too bad either (not too huge on their desserts or fish). It really is all about the tenders here though. When you consider how thick and juicy and beautifully fried these things are by their normal standard no one else around is coming anywhere near close. Basha's rules. All they gave me was a hard 50 Cent dinner roll. when I store and my concern, the guy who answered the phone was very rude and hung up the phone in my face. I've ordered here a couple of times, but I will take my business elsewhere. This is very unprofessional to run a business if you can't take concerns and questions. I will be telling my friends who I referred to not take their business there as well. This is very unacceptable and very rude and nasty of him. The chicken here is the best in Macomb County. I have had the chicken dark and white as well as the spicy chicken sandwich and wings. It is consistent and not greasy at all. The food and the service here is great! The food is always delicious and has not changed which I love and It's better than Popeyes Chicken. I hope they come up North to Port Huron,Lexington, Applegate or Port Sanilac area because it's almost 2 hours from my home and I would love to eat Basha's Chicken more. Also because we need a good restaurant in this area. Plus I like that we can get pop in a can. Restaurants don't give you that option which my family love. I got 3 meals, a dessert, and a drink came up to $60+. Service was good The meal i bought for myself was 4 whole wings, shrimp, fries w/ cornbread. The wings taste good but they're a bit salty for me. The fries were mushy (i asked for well done) and the cornbread was also too soft. I always pass this location and awaited to stop by and try it. Arrived around 10:50am and didn't know they didn't open to 11am. So I waited and looked at the menu to figure out what I wanted. The cook handed me a pamphlet and turned on the tv to show the menu. Note: they raised their pricing for everything. Chicken sandwiches are no longer $4.99. While waiting for them to open, one of the workers was a kid and was kind to asked me if I've been helped. He proceed to ask what I wanted to order and told me that he wasn't the typical person to do the register and didn't have the code. I honestly feel so bad for him. As soon as the restaurant opened, he had so many calls and people walking through the door to place orders. While waiting a notice a lady with her long hair. Not sure what task she's doing in the kitchen but her hair was not tied and she continuously touched her face. The place is decent but there are no chairs for you to wait for your order. You'll have to stand and wait. Another co worker walked in around 11:20am and proceeded to the register to take orders. I received my food, a little over 30 minutes. Granted they just opened and I just placed my order. I just feel bad for all the other people waiting to place their order as my order took long and they just opened. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich one with onion rings and another with coleslaw. The spicy chicken sandwich is pretty good. It's fresh and has a nice crunch to it but honestly it's not spicy. I didn't receive my coleslaw with my order and the onion rings were ok. It was good experience but probably will only stop by once in awhile. read more

Nice local spot for fried chicken, even better is the hand dipped & fried to order shrimp. These bad boys had me wondering if it was lobster for a second. Combined with all their sides, after 2 visits, I'm ready to admit Bashas will be in the rotation for a while. Friendly counter service, fair prices, broasted potatoes lathered in butter with an over sized brush. Corn bread has never gone uneaten either. Coleslaw was delicious as well. This spot used to host a local pizzeria from when I ate lunch while attending a near by high school decades ago, so nostalgia may be a factor for me but still felt a 5 star review is reflective of both experiences here at Bashas! To be fair, the chicken deserves more than 2 stars because it really is quite good. That's the only good thing I can say about this restaurant, unfortunately. It always takes much longer than quoted to get your food and the price hike is pretty ridiculous. Way too expensive for what you get. I also don't believe there's been a single time I've been given the correct sauces I ordered. First time I tried it I was happily surprised by how good and huge the chicken tenders were. Wow! Really amazing chicken and so close to home! If you live in Warren and haven't tried Basha's yet, what are you waiting for?? Their potatoes remind me of the shack potatoes but their chicken is way better. I watched them make my food once, it's a non frozen container of fresh chicken pieces they pulled out of the fridge. I watched the chicken breast flop in the guys hand before he cooked it. Anytime a restaurant truly makes fresh food, they deserve recognition for that. They have original recipe and spicy. Try both!
