Been going to this family owned bakery for almost 40 years. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The subs and pizza are outstanding. Old school bakery inside.

We were in town and had to stop in to check it out. They have a little parking lot beside the building. You can tell the place has been around for a while. And people were coming in and out the whole time we were there. They have a ticket system. You pull a ticket with a number and when they call your number, you can order. It works for them since they are apparently always busy. My husband wanted to try the pepperoni roll. I tried the Italian Sub. We also got some angel wings and tiramisu. All of the food was amazing. The pepperoni roll was packed with pepperoni. The Italian sub was huge and full of meat and toppings. My favorite part was the tiramisu! Hands down - best one I have ever had. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in town. I don't think this place is going anywhere!!

Happy 100 years to the whole Bommarito's crew! We cannot survive without their pizzas or cannolis. I'm even more partial to their pizza now that we can order online and pick it up directly from the kitchen. It's so convenient.

Been going here my whole life, my dad grew up just a couple blocks from here so it's always been on the radar. The place is small so it can get a little claustrophobic when busy, but that's generally not a problem. Good subs, even if the bread can be a bit too crunchy for my tastes. Love their pizza! The cannoli cream is delicious and you can get it in a tub... makes an awesome holiday dip. Biggest complaint is it can be slllllloooooowwww if there are more than 2 people in there. Not the end of the world, but it it not a place you can always go if you don't have a lot of extra time. Today is Fat Tuesday so we ordered some paczki for a large multi family order. They are the best place for cannoli ones so we tend to get them here. We were shorted 2 cannoli and a custard. The number looked correct but it seems there were place holder 'donuts' in the 2nd box (we assume for the 2 missing cannoli as I think they are filled to order) and something we did not order was mistakenly added. We called and they said they would get that fixed up for us after the appointment we're at. :) If you are in the neighborhood, make sure you check it out for a slice or some baked goods.

The best ever. Bommarito bread drying out for home made stuffing. The best subs, donuts, bread, and cannolis in town.

They have Dr Browns soft drinks and all the flavors! The matzoball soup is amazing def 9 out of 10. The sandwiches are top notch. The meat is super fresh and the rye bread is fresh and perfect. And you can get them to grill whatever you order right in front of you. To top it all of the atmosphere is an experience. Like walking into a NY deli in the 70s. I highly recommend to anyone in the area. And worth the trip if you are not from the area.

The inside has an old-school diner vibe, which could be charming, but the overall experience didn't quite match. Staff interaction was neutral--not unfriendly, but not particularly welcoming either. My husband ordered the Lynne sandwich and I had the Adele, along with a bowl of matzo ball soup. The soup was definitely the highlight--flavorful and comforting--but at nearly $9 for a bowl, it felt overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately, the sandwiches didn't live up to expectations. The meat was piled in the center of the bread, leaving the ends with little to nothing in each bite, which made them feel poorly constructed and just overall mediocre. We were also surprised by the number of upcharges--extra for toasting the bread, extra for grilling, and even a 3% fee for using a credit card. It all adds up quickly. For two sandwiches and a shared soup, our total came to just over $40, which felt steep given the quality. It's disappointing because we wanted to like this place, but the high prices just didn't align with the food or experience. Unfortunately, we'll likely be crossing Uncle Harry's off our list.

It has a cute, classic diner feel--nothing recently updated, but it was clean and comfortable. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. We brought our three young kids and ordered them each a kids meal: chicken tenders with fries, spaghetti, and a cheeseburger with fries. The portions were generous and we even had leftovers, but at $10 per kids meal, the pricing felt pretty steep. We started with the bread basket and pickles, which were both good. My husband ordered the Monterey Jack chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. He first tried the chicken noodle soup but thought it had a sour aftertaste, so he switched to the beef barley, which unfortunately wasn't much better. His chicken entrée had good flavor, but it was just one thin, butterflied chicken breast. I ordered the New Yorker with fries, which I enjoyed--it was solid and satisfying. When the bill came to around $80, it just didn't feel justified for a deli/diner-style meal. Overall, the food was okay, but the pricing felt high for what you get--especially for a family outing. I might stop in again solo for a sandwich, but we likely won't be bringing the whole family back, mainly due to the cost of the kids meals.

Order a Soup and salad with the Midtown salad and chili cabbage, NY style Turkey Rueben and baby Greek with feta on the side and small GF chicken tenders with bbq and honey mustard sauce, bumpy cake. $65.19 The Greek salad is so-so, made with iceberg. It's not special. The chili cabbage was good, good broth for the soup. The midtown is packed and topped with bacon. The turkey Rueben is meh, quite bland. The onion rings are quite good. The batter is light and airy. The Russian dressing is quite bland. The slaw isn't enough to give the turkey Rueben sandwich taste or feel. The GF chicken tender looks like panko, it's crunchy and the meat is tender and not dry at all. The honey mustard sauce is too bad, he's BBQ too. The complimentary pickles are decent, not crunchy though. Service is good. Food quantity is quite generous here. The onion rings and the chili soup are both good. Bumpy cake was cut into row halves, that was thoughtful, it was quite good.
