Dont bother.Atrocious food that will give you the runs. Rude servers that act most of the time like theyre doing you a favor. No refills on 3 dollar cokes and a tiny 3 dollar cup of coffee. Used to be good not so much now. read more

I love corned beef so I'm kinda picky about it and so I'd give this one maybe a 6.5/7 I would give it another shot though maybe dine in instead of bringing it home. read more

Breakfast carryout - Biscuit and gravy with scrambled eggs breakfast is okay, average. The soft scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked. Corned beef hash with Sunnyside up eggs. I peaked in the box before leaving and the sunny side up eggs looked great. I got home and then touched them they were actually all cooked to a jelly consistency. This was not from heat in the container. I was able to pick the egg yolk out with a fork. The corned beef hash is still good, but the overcooked Sunnyside up is a deal breaker. I stopped here with friends after attending a meeting in Warren. One of them had heard raves about the corned beef sandwiches. It was getting close to closing, but service was not rushed, nor slow. Our group of five was impressed with our server, who could balance more plates on her arms than most people. She also did an excellent job of keeping our drink glasses filled. We had a side of fried mushrooms, and one of french fries. Both were good and ample for us to share. The sandwiches were very flavorful, and the corned beef was lean. The restaurant is your basic diner in style, but seemed very clean. The restroom was also fine. If I am in the area again, I would likely return. read more

Picture it: Summer 2019. My family is in town for a wedding. None of us are from the area, but we want to have a good brunch before we go our separate ways. We were disappointed the day before, so I decided to ask our hotel's front desk for a recommendation. As soon as I get the words "brunch", "good food", and "pancakes" out of my mouth, a voice yells from across the room " I have the perfect place for you!" She directed us to Martin's Ham & Cornbeef, fairly warned us that it was small and the vibe was nothing special, but the food would be delicious and plentiful. She ain't never lied! The restaurant is small, and definitely nothing fancy. It's not really conducive for groups larger than 4-5, so we scattered our party around at various tables. In all honesty, I did have to dock stars because our service was a hot mess. Our waitress spilled water all over my brother and aunt, she mixed up our orders, and forgot some things. Also, our food took a long time to come out. However, I will say that all of the waitresses we interacted with, no matter how clumsy or forgetful, were very pleasant. About the food...I had the Homemade Corned Beef Hash, because look where we are. I guess I had already forgotten our "warning" from the hotel, because I think my jaw dropped a little when a huge bowl of layered potatoes and corned beef, loaded with country gravy and topped with scrambled eggs was placed before me. In inhaled and thoroughly enjoyed half of the bowl, and then killed the other half in the hotel the next morning. I think it's safe to say I was very pleased with my Martin's Ham & Cornbeef meal. read more

The corn beef, hands down, absolute best corn beef sandwich I've ever had in my life! It's an Albanian owned family restaurant and I'm not sure if they're bringing the love from back home, but I would say heck yes, every single time! They have this super creamy amazing coleslaw that they add to the King's pleasure and it is to die for! I'm pretty picky about my slaw, so it's definitely an added bonus. They also have these corn beef and swiss eggrolls they make there, very unique and super tasty. You need to ask for extra thousand island dressing on the side to dip with! You wont regret it! =) read more

This is a good place for lunch. The Greek salad is fresh and comes with a nice little block of feta to enjoy. I like their ham sandwich with cheddar on an onion roll and yellow mustard. The onion roll has a nice bite to it and good onion flavor. The corned beef is serviceable but I like a thicker cut for corned beef so I can get the texture of the brisket. Service is quick and prices are reasonable for the fresh food you are served. I like the specials board as you walk in, but usually go with a hot ham sandwich and baby Greek salad. read more

I walked here for lunch while I was having a bad time with an auto repair shop a few blocks away. I ordered the small Grilled Chicken Gyro, meaning no soup and no salad. It was huge and very filling. The chicken was delicious and so was the dressing. Nothing fancy, just great food, excellent service and good value. I definitely recommend and will drop by again next time I'm in the area. EDIT: I'm editing my review, minus one star as I had not seen an extra charge on my bill for 4% of the amount when paying with credit card. A bad business practice and somewhat predatory as they don't even tell you. I did see a sign up that reads something in the lines of getting a *discount if you pay cash. This implies that if you pay cash you will be getting a discount on your total bill. I opted to pay with my credit card as I was not interest in getting the discount. When I did that, rather than charging me face value what was on my bill, they added 4% because I paid with my credit card. The ambiguity is wrong, sign should read "we add 4% extra to your bill if you pay with credit card". Food and service still good. read more

Simply the best corned beef sandwich ever, at a modest price, and a humble environment. It's deservedly busy. Pretty much a local place that I found by Yelping. I needed sandwiches for a 1/1 business lunch with a client at Giant Motor Corp. who was on a tight schedule. He wanted turkey, so I got him a hot turkey on onion bun. Update to my review 10 years ago......... Dear Martin & Sons, I gave you a 5 star review 10 years ago so what happened to your famous Home Of The "Big Mouth" sandwiches? I ordered the "King's Pleasure" sandwich recently and it was more like a peasant sized. It seems you have raised your prices and lowered the quantity of meat! Years ago I could only eat 1/2 a sandwich but now your portions are like every other corner sandwich shop. Don't get me wrong the quality and taste was still delicious but Martin, you need to stop skimping on the meat or I will have no other option than to go to either Backstage Deli or BreadBasket Deli. When you raise prices and put less meat on your sandwiches, you lose loyal customers! People have been coming here for the quality and quantity of your food for years, don't ruin the one thing you were known for and that is HUGE SANDWICHES! I love this place, absolutely LOVE IT!! You may ask why such a low rating? Because of $1.04, yes one whole dollar and 4 cents and a whole lot of principle! I 100% do not agree with businesses charging more than the billed amount to my credit card in the form of a service fee. I own a small business and would never agree to charging my customer one penny more than my invoiced amount. Merchant account services are shady and this is another way they profit and the consumer loses out. The food here is great, the servers are great, the service fee is 100% unacceptable! I'd rather pay $3.00 more for my meal than another darned fee. read more

I was really hungry and searching for a place close to home for a quick bite. A quick check of my Yelp app let me know that Martin's was the place I needed to try for a quick and tasty deli sandwich. I just had my first King Pleasure (corned beef with Swiss, cole slaw, and thousand island on an onion roll) from Martin's, and let me just say, OMG that thing was awesome! The corned beef was piping hot and lean, the bottom of the onion roll was warm and crisp from grilling, the coleslaw was awesome, and the combination of the three =food coma. I eat this sandwich fairly often, from different places, but this was hands down one of the best I've had...EVER. read more

Un freaking believable! My mom and I are home cooks and make everything from scratch so we are super picky. Believe me when I tell you the food here is money. Everything from the delicious ham in the farmer's omelet, to the hamburger, to pancakes, to soup and sandwiches, to dessert IT'S ALL CRAZY GOOD! I have only been for breakfast. It's just a little tiny place but you certainly get what you pay for. The omelettes are ginormous. For sure too big to eat in just one sitting & you get a slice of ham with your omelette for free. The ham is delicious, not sweet but not salty either. It's fantastic, really! The corned beef hash is amazing & homemade. Wait staff is friendly & on top of their game. I give only 4 stars for 2 reasons... 1. The hours are very limited. They close at 4 pm everyday taking them away as a dinner option. I guess if I want to try their Ruben, I will have to do so on a weekend. 2. I asked for an extra tea bag for my hot tea and was charged an additional $1.55. It's only Cadillac Coffee Brand, not Starbucks for Pete's sake. Since my original review, I've been here a couple of times for breakfast. Holy cow!! Talk about huge portions. I've had an ultimate skillet, which was amazing. I could not finish it, that's how big it was. I have also had the omelet that has bacon, ham and sausage with sausage gravy on top (yes, I am a health food fan, can't you tell?), and it was just as amazing. I did manage to eat it all, but just barely. You will definitely need a nap after eating here, and bring your appetite! Delicious food, and while the prices are a little higher compared to some other places, they actually aren't out of line considering how much food you get (a LOT). read more

I have only been here one time, but I will definitely be back. We went for a grease spoon breakfast and they did not disappoint. Two of these three of us at our table had special requests to our orders and they happily obliged and everything turned out great! Two of us had omelets that we modified and the other had a traditional breakfast. I like that they have the option to substitute 2 pancakes for hash browns. That is normally the way I want to go, but this day I went with the potatoes and they tasted perfect; slightly crispy and buttery. No dought one of the best kept secrets south of 696. This is one of those random small diner's you pass everyday assuming it taste just like the similar diner around the corner. However, Martin's offers much more. The breakfast is outstanding as is the service. Every omelet I have had here is perfect, never dry, and filled with more than enough ingredients. They also have a handful of "famous" omelets that are definitely original and awesome. Also, the Chocolate Pancakes brings out the fat kid deep down inside of everyone. I can only take down two but if there is 12 on the table I'm pretty sure I would force them down, they are that good! I highly recommend Martin's! read more

Seriously best deli in the burbs (Mudgies and Russell Street Deli are my favorites). I've been here around six times and never have had a bad meal or service. I always try something new and today I had the grilled chicken pita. When you look at their extensive menu, grilled chicken pita is pretty much the most boring thing. Well, honestly it was the best chicken pita I have ever had. A coworker said the same thing. There was so much perfectly grilled chicken that I had to toss the last few pieces so I didn't get into a food coma and could finish the work day. They give you more than enough ranch, unlike many places that just give you a little cup. Burgers are so big they come with a knife through the middle of them to keep everything together. Deli sandwiches are so big I can usually only eat half. Ham sandwich is out of this world. Thick, juicy, real ham with some cheese and mayo. YUM. Service is great. Today was the first time I've done take out and my food was ready when I got there with plenty of condiments and napkins in the bag. When I got back to work there was no surprise - all the orders were how I ordered them (if you have ever ordered for a group, you know there is ALWAYS something wrong). Try Martins ASAP. read more
