We were given a number to put on our table but told to wait for our drinks by the counter before finding our seats. Lots of unique things on the menu. I went with a lavender lemonade which was sweet and tart, a little floral but in a good way. Also ordered the buddha bowl which was super disappointing. Not much flavor and dry. Needed a different or more dressing. Cheese quesadilla off the kids menu was okay as well, came with a store bought apple sauce cup. But the sweet potato fries were amazing. Great flavor and had a crunch to them, not soggy. I will say the portions were pretty big.

I finally made it on a free morning, just in time for an early lunch. On the day of my visit, it was cold and wet, so outdoor dining was out of the question. Just inside is a large deli counter with items available for take-out. Beyond that was a large and stylish dining room, where diners enjoyed the last of their breakfasts. I was a smidge earlier than everyone else for lunch; the dining room filled up soon afterwards. I loved the huge menu - there were so many options for soups, salads (Maurice, Greek, and Cobb, to name a few), sandwiches (Reuben's, triple deckers, and even vegetarian), burgers and hot dogs, breakfasts (omelettes, waffles, and French toast), and deli classics. I opted for the Victor Special, extra cut, which included larger portions of both corned beef and pastrami, coleslaw, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. The thinly-sliced meat was indeed piled high at the center. For my side, I had wanted the onion rings, but they were already sold out! Instead, I went with the hash browns; they were crispy with a mashed potato-like interior. In retrospect, I should have tried some of the foods I've enjoyed from my hometown: knishes, blintzes, latkes; I'm now dreaming of meals I've had in my past. Service was fine at first, but my server got busy elsewhere, and her coworkers pitched in.

The food is good, that is if they get your order correct. I work at a business who gets delivery from them often. The staff is horrible, I had an order wrong, politely called to get it fixed and they began to yell at me. They finished the conversation with "YOU CAN BRING THE SALAD BACK HERE AND THEN WE WILL FIX IT!!". The business I work at is busy, and we get delivery because we do not have the time to go pick something up. The thought of them saying I can come and "show" them the mistake is ridiculous. This business obviously does not care about customer service. I am pretty sure my staff and I pay their paychecks with the amount of money we spend there. I DO NOT recommend this establishment to ANYONE. It is unacceptable and this should not be tolerated. read more

Saw a wonderful ad on tv for this place and decided to check it out Monday the 20th. Go to the establishment at 3:30, and despite the hours are until 4pm, the doors are shut, and employees are cleaning up. Very disappointing, and if that is the standard for this establishment, no need to go there .Ended up going to O'Connor's instead. Great service there. read more

THE OWNER IS SO RUDE!! This place is falling apart! You can feel it when you go in there. The food is great but you can tell when the servers aren't happy. I have personally seen the owner yell at her servers in front of customers. That never looks good and you can see how that reflects on the atmosphere. read more

I had the turkey club and the turkey chili. Both were fantastic! The bread they use for the sandwich was very good. The atmosphere was a huge improvement over what was in the building previously. The employees were personable and prices were quite reasonable, about $5 for sandwiches and $5 to $6 for salads. I did not have a salad but they had a nice selection with all of the popular choices. I will definitely go back and don't forget to support the little guys!
