Homemade soup

I really have never been disappointed eating here. Everyone is always friendly, and the food has yet to disappoint. I have brought family & friends here, and everyone loved their food. I had the carrot cake recently, it was really tasty.

Well we've been here twice now for breakfast. I ordered the country benedict the first time and they gave me such a small amount of gravy that I had to ask for more. The gravy tasted good though. Second time I ordered chicken (country) fried steak. I'm always on the lookout for a good one. This one was not. It was like they took the pre breaded frozen ones and popped it in the microwave. The breading was soggy and the meat was like a gas station cheese burger. the American fries were hardly crisped. Im not sure we will come back. Service is great and quick.

The only options they have to add any sides. Would be helpful to have an option for side dressings.

There is no where in St Clair shores area to find a deli. Thank goodness was for Uncle Harry's! It…read moreis the real deal. Kim was our server and she was over the top great! They have Dr Browns soft drinks and all the flavors! The matzoball soup is amazing def 9 out of 10. The sandwiches are top notch. The meat is super fresh and the rye bread is fresh and perfect. And you can get them to grill whatever you order right in front of you. To top it all of the atmosphere is an experience. Like walking into a NY deli in the 70s. I highly recommend to anyone in the area. And worth the trip if you are not from the area.

We picked up carryout from Uncle Harry's Deli tonight and left feeling pretty underwhelmed,…read moreespecially for the price. The inside has an old-school diner vibe, which could be charming, but the overall experience didn't quite match. Staff interaction was neutral--not unfriendly, but not particularly welcoming either. My husband ordered the Lynne sandwich and I had the Adele, along with a bowl of matzo ball soup. The soup was definitely the highlight--flavorful and comforting--but at nearly $9 for a bowl, it felt overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately, the sandwiches didn't live up to expectations. The meat was piled in the center of the bread, leaving the ends with little to nothing in each bite, which made them feel poorly constructed and just overall mediocre. We were also surprised by the number of upcharges--extra for toasting the bread, extra for grilling, and even a 3% fee for using a credit card. It all adds up quickly. For two sandwiches and a shared soup, our total came to just over $40, which felt steep given the quality. It's disappointing because we wanted to like this place, but the high prices just didn't align with the food or experience. Unfortunately, we'll likely be crossing Uncle Harry's off our list.

I was really disappointed with RJ's Corned Beef…read more The sandwiches are overpriced for what you get, and the quality just doesn't justify the cost. Front counter staff does not seem to want to be there. I Don't know if it's out of obligation, family ties or desperation of a job. Either way a lesson in good personable Customer Service is much needed. There was NOTHING special about the corned beef or the overall sandwich--it tasted like something you could pick up from the deli counter at your local grocery store for a fraction of the price . Save yourself some time and money keep driving. I expected a fresh, flavorful sandwich from a place known for corned beef, (apparently this is new ownership ) but instead, it was bland, uninspired, and completely underwhelming. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I drove from Sterling Heights excited on trying their Corn Beef sandwich, upon arrival the cook on the grill did not seem to be having a good day, looked me in my eyes with a mud attitude and didn't speak. The lady on the register DJdeli was smiley and very pleasant I ordered a $21.99 Corn beef sandwich along with a whole pickle priced @ $2.50 totaling $25+, surprised receiving it, preparing to eat it in my car. I was very disappointed with both !. The sandwich was one of the worst sandwich I've ever purchased, having better from the Coney Island, especially for the price I paid being it had no slices put together with dry broken pieces, tasteless, No flavor whatsoever with the Swiss cheese on only one half of the sandwich, as I was trying to eat it, it keep breaking apart all over my car and the pickle was old half soggy dented in. I did try to request an exchange or refund for the pickle and he (the cook), Interrupted the conversation with the clerk stated at me with an sassy nasty attitude I'm not giving you back a refund, You can get another pickle. I'm like ok thank you, the one he exchanged was smaller in the same condition, turning bad as well. I will take this an experience to not listen to over hyped up commercials and stick with what I know and those who know and miss the bad demeanor and unworthy over price Corn beef with the nasty service provided by their cook and invest in a menu that I won't throw away the remaining of the purchase!. I will not be returning and will share this advice with those I know !!. I gave two stars for the clerk who took my order, thank you for being kind my first and last visit .
