I drove from Sterling Heights excited on trying their Corn Beef sandwich, upon arrival the cook on the grill did not seem to be having a good day, looked me in my eyes with a mud attitude and didn't speak. The lady on the register DJdeli was smiley and very pleasant I ordered a $21.99 Corn beef sandwich along with a whole pickle priced @ $2.50 totaling $25+, surprised receiving it, preparing to eat it in my car. I was very disappointed with both !. The sandwich was one of the worst sandwich I've ever purchased, having better from the Coney Island, especially for the price I paid being it had no slices put together with dry broken pieces, tasteless, No flavor whatsoever with the Swiss cheese on only one half of the sandwich, as I was trying to eat it, it keep breaking apart all over my car and the pickle was old half soggy dented in. I did try to request an exchange or refund for the pickle and he (the cook), Interrupted the conversation with the clerk stated at me with an sassy nasty attitude I'm not giving you back a refund, You can get another pickle. I'm like ok thank you, the one he exchanged was smaller in the same condition, turning bad as well. I will take this an experience to not listen to over hyped up commercials and stick with what I know and those who know and miss the bad demeanor and unworthy over price Corn beef with the nasty service provided by their cook and invest in a menu that I won't throw away the remaining of the purchase!. Afterwards, save your receipt to turn into the Troy school of your choice. The school that collects the most money in receipts will win $1,000 cash prize. Unfortunately the employees said no, we aren't participating in that and other customers mention this and we won't honor the discount. I showed them the FB announcement where their Deli was clearly listed and they still said No. ??? This made me frustrated. My total for a wrap, cauliflower bites, and a drink was $22. No discount. False advertising and unpleasant customer service. I posted the Facebook announcement of their restaurant listed below in my pictures. On the positive side, the deli is very clean and food was delicious. Their menu is extensive with many choices of wraps, salads, sandwiches and soup.
