First time here was a disappointing experience. I read in the Troy Times newspaper that Troy Chamber of Congress was hosting a "Step up to the Plate" event to support the Troy School District where you could dine at 12 local restaurants and get 20% off your bill on April 12th to April 17th. Central Park Deli was the first restaurant on the list to participate. The article said mention the ad from Troy Times or Facebook to get the 20% off your bill. Afterwards, save your receipt to turn into the Troy school of your choice. The school that collects the most money in receipts will win $1,000 cash prize. Unfortunately the employees said no, we aren't participating in that and other customers mention this and we won't honor the discount. I showed them the FB announcement where their Deli was clearly listed and they still said No. ??? This made me frustrated. My total for a wrap, cauliflower bites, and a drink was $22. No discount. False advertising and unpleasant customer service. I posted the Facebook announcement of their restaurant listed below in my pictures. On the positive side, the deli is very clean and food was delicious. Their menu is extensive with many choices of wraps, salads, sandwiches and soup. This place is good but could be better with some tweaks! They have a great selection of food but my sandwich needed more salt and they didn't have any out to just easily add. The onion roll was a bit flavorless and needed some more onion flavor. Price is decent and service was fast! Overall, we would go again! read more

The Detroiter was delicious - very juicy and flavorful, the rye perfectly grilled crisp! The corned beef is a little different than what I accustomed to in that the corned is somewhat shaved and steamed. I very much enjoyed the sandwich but the value at $17 is a little much - the height was perfect but felt the overall size was a bit lacking. Also - depending on your preference, I would probably order extra coleslaw if I ordered this sandwich again, the ratio of beef to slaw was a bit lacking. The cream of broccoli was a nice accompaniment to the sandwich but was kind of salty and a bit on the starchy side. Overall - definitely a good place for a deli sandwich just a little on the pricey side - think Zingermans without the friendly service.... read more

Disappointing experience. On the positive side, this location is immaculately clean. The sandwiches were beautiful and neatly made. The employee was helpful in answering questions. Unfortunately, the sandwiches tasted like nothing. Bland with dry bread. The soup had obviously been watered down and literally tasted like hot tap water. We were expecting a stellar experience based on the cleanliness of the store and appearance of the food, but it was a total let down. I was craving a chicken Caesar wrap and heard Central Park's was tasty. Entered the deli and first thing you see is 4 ordering tablets. I ordered my wrap, some fries, a small side of Caesar dressing, and an extra pickle - all for about $16. It was all ready pretty fast, maybe about 5-10 minutes for a to-go order. The wrap was pretty good, except for when I found a piece of plastic brush halfway through my wrap. The fries were just ok, very hot so you know they were fresh, but they smelled fishy (even though there's no fried fish on the menu?) - I think the oil isn't changed out and everything is fried together. There were a lot of options for drinks and desserts. I saw the front staff wiping down tables which was nice. Overall it was a decent deli spot - while the chicken Caesar wrap was decent, the fries were a bit lackluster. read more

Kristiana and the rest of the staff here are super welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The food is delicious and clean. I always come back for the steak salad, soups, chicken sandwiches, and banana pudding. They offer great burgers as well. Once in a while, I get the spicy cauliflower bites and they are outstanding. Only thing I would change is a slightly larger portion when I order onion rings but the quality of the food has me coming back. Typically I go with the Reuben,Cali Reuben, or Club. Small deli spot at the corner of Maple and Coolidge. It's not fancy, no table service, super easy and convenient too. It's casual for sure. The menu here is quite extensive. We order at the kiosks and put in your cell and name before paying. The staff called out our names when our order was ready to grab it and bring back to the tables. Ordered a veggie roll-up, no onion and ranch on the side and turkey Rueben with kraut, added slaw and Russian dressing on the side. $25.97. Sandwiches was ready after about 10 minutes or so. The turkey Rueben here is huge, it's good with the combo of the slaw and kraut. The veggie wrap is a green bomb, it's good as well. read more

Went here on a Monday for lunch. Ordered two sandwiches, one was customized, and soup. Portion size was good. Flavor was lacking just seemed bland. Soup was cold. Restaurant was busy, only two workers, still got our food out with 10 min. Best to order ahead. I want this place to succeed. Probably will try again at a different time. read more

Super friendly and efficient staff here! Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Mostly takeout but there is some seating if you want to eat there. Great lighting inside for pictures. Let me start by saying the food was NOT bad. Wasn't great, but wasn't awful. Here's why I'm not being generous with the stars: I ordered a large hot pastrami sandwich with mustard on an onion roll with extra pastrami and a slice of cheese (don't hate on me for the cheese!). Price: $19.00. I was okay with the price, because I figured it would be enough for two servings. NOPE! This hot pastrami sandwich, which I thought was going to be full of delicious meat weighed in at a whopping 13.9 ounces WITH the onion roll. That means maybe 10 ounces of pastrami for $19 that's just shy of $2 per ounce or $32 a pound for seasoned brisket which retails for between $5-$6 per pound (they certainly aren't buying their pastrami retail, so I'm guessing they pay considerably less). It wasn't particularly good pastrami, it wasn't bad either, but it certainly wasn't Wagyu pastrami, or house-made, it was just deli pastrami with at least a 300% markup. What a shame. read more

I ordered twice from Central Park Deli for delivery and both times they didn't include or exclude crucial parts of the order. When I called the Deli to rectify the order, I was told they're too busy and that's why the orders weren't followed. Not ordering from here again because simple instructions can't be followed and customer service wasn't helpful. read more

The restaurant is located in the same plaza as Dairy Queen. It's the old Zoup! storefront. The food is delicious and you receive a decent amount for the cost. The restaurant wasn't too busy for weekday lunch hours. The restaurant was quiet and the cashier was very helpful. They also gave a rewards program, which is nice. 10/10. read more

My coworker introduced me to Cpd, and I introduced the rest of our team-hands down the best deli ever. We've ordered anything from salads, wraps, sandwiches, and sides-it is SO good. Friday we had 4 employees separately order from this location with different items, nothing was soggy, everything was ready, the portions are 100% worth the price. I went in today for lunch pick up, they accidentally put mustard on my sandwich when I requested a side order, the woman bagging my order caught it before packing and offered to remake it-no attitude, not annoyed, just super apologetic. They had so many deliveries and pick ups I told her it really wasn't a big deal, because it's not! She very kindly packed a few hot chocolate chip cookies- honestly yay because it's just another thing I can try from them! HIGHLY recommend, customer service is impeccable and the food is AMAZING. Fresh and delicious! I was surprised at how filling the wrap was. I ordered my sauce on the side to avoid it from being soggy, that was the right move! The chicken was well seasoned and flavorful. The veggies were fresh and crunchy which complimented the chicken texture wise. 8.5 out of 10 for the wrap. Update 2/2/23 I've been here several times since my original review. EVERYTHING has been good. Like everything. So far, the one thing that I didn't like was the pickle and that's because I don't like spicy pickles. From the veggie wrap to the turkey burger there was flavor every step of the way. The salads are super fresh and the turkey chili is tasty. Everything is filling and well portioned. This was my 3rd carry out from here & most disappointing. I went to take a bite of my side of coleslaw & there was a LONG,black HAIR! Threw that whole thing out. My pastrami sandwich was drenched in mustard & 1 piece of my bread was WET & soggy. The bread's crust wasn't even crusty like fresh bread should be even when steamed. Must have been a couple days old. A REAL DELI doesn't automatically add mustard to every sandwich. In the past when Russian was asked for that's all that was on there. The Swiss cheese must be the cheapest out there because you can't taste it. In addition, the pastrami was really fatty. I'm used to a little fat but some pieces were half fat. I couldn't wait for a pastrami sandwich. I know good "deli" & will drive the extra 5+ miles & pay more for quality. read more

It was a fine sandwich. I wouldn't say great, but there was nothing wrong with it. I liked it, and would have probably have liked it more, but it was almost $20.00 for a regular sandwich - I expected more. It seemed to be very slow for one of their basic sandwiches - seeing the place was not that busy. The staff wasn't rude, but not overly helpful. Just a regular deli with a few booths.
