I've driven by a million times but never stopped in until now. The food was solid, but nothing spectacular. As a long time resident of the area and ordering from this deli for decades, I was extremely disappointed in the sandwiches we received! 3 sandwiches all were disappointing and not served on the traditional bread you would expect. Typically, a Ruben would be served on a softer plain rye bread, grilled or not. Mine came on a heavy seeded country style wheat bread and so did the other two. The description didn't specify bread. I would recommend when ordering select your preference. Over priced for the quality! $56 for 3 sandwiches, 1 drink and 2 chips! Then they wanted a minimum 15% tip for ordering not even serving? WHAT? We had Bloomfield Deli catered for a work lunch event and everything served was incredibly high-quality and fresh. We had an assortment of wraps, salads, chips, and desserts. Most noteworthy were the desserts - both the brownies and cookies are homemade, HUGE, and freaking uniquely divine. Perfection without being overbearingly sweet. Regarding the wraps, the meat was thinly sliced, the cheese was flavorful, and it was apparent that only the most crisp and otherwise desirable pieces of romaine lettuce were used. I refrained from giving five stars because, 1. This was my first experience with the establishment, and 2. I did not pay for any of my food, so value was not a consideration. With that said, I will likely crave their cookies and/or brownies in the future, and therefore go out of my way to obtain them. read more

I love this deli. Anything you pick, you really can't go wrong. It's one of those places where I'd rather eat here for lunch than my mom's house ;) The bread they use with their wraps, is phenomenal. The grilled chicken will rival any grill master's, and they're not stingy with the toppings-they pile them on-veggies, cheese, dressing...just tell them how you want it. They have great side options as well including chips/fruit/cookies.....I love how pretty much everything they have is hand made in front of you. If you need a new lunch spot, this is it. I'm not sure why they don't have more yelp reviews-but it might be because people don't want the secret to get out about how amazing this place is! Huge portions, top-notch quality ingredients, and sincere/quick/impressive service. Pricing is spot on for the location and portion size. The greek wrap sandwich with grilled chicken, feta, lettuce, greek dressing, and grilled wrap bread is amazing! Probably my favorite, I crave it for lunch all the time. However I'd eat anything with their chicken inside of it. I know many people come here for their salads too, where you can build your own salad with the most beautiful toppings and dressings, and watch it tossed in front of you. Even their italian or tuna is great-where again the bread and toppings are to die for! And I love that they serve hot breakfast options before 10. Their drink selection is really impressive too. You name it, they have it. I'm a huge coconut water fan, and this is the only restaurant/deli I've encountered with every flavor of bottled Zico (chocolate is amazing). It's a family owned deli with tons of regulars and locals. I was excited to try this deli because of the great reviews here but I was so unimpressed today. Loved the fact that I can order online, you would think this would make my carry out super fast. Wrong! There was no one at the cash register when I walked in, so I walked over to the food cases where all five employees clearly saw me but proceeded to ignore me. After my inquiry I was waived over to the cash register, where I stood for another five minutes. In the meantime the cashiers friend walked in and she proceeded to prep her order ahead of mine. My pre paid carry out took a total of 20 minutes. When the cashier finally acknowledged me, she made me feel as if I inconvenienced her. I saw this deli on Yelp which said it's hours recently updated was going to be open until 8 pm which is perfect as it was 6:30. When I arrived to my astonishment they switched from a deli to a taco establishment for dinner I was hungry so I looked at the board that had dinner selections there is no pricing on the board I'm assuming that is to not scare off the customer at first glance. I ordered what I thought was a deal for a six pack of tacos 3 shrimp and 3 carnitas and the avocado bowl with chicken. Here's where I have a problem with this place I was not told I couldn't get those in the six pack so when the cashier rang me up he rang up the tacos individually and if I wanted to spit the orders into 3 tacos why not get the taco entree which is a still cheaper and I would have gotten rice and beans with it too. The 6 tacos and avocado bowl cost $62. I also got 2 Dr.Browns cream soda. It wasn't all bad the food is actually pretty good but it wasn't $62 good. So in conclusion, I will probably not be giving this place a second chance on pricing alone. read more

We have had two lunches catered from Bloomfield Deli and I have zero complaints! The pasta salad is awesome. We had a salad with grapes, mandarins, apples, walnuts, and blue cheese with a raspberry dressing which was awesome. All of the sandwiches we had have been great. The grilled Chicken Cherry Wrap here is out of this world amazing. Better than any other chicken cherry wrap I've ever had. The ratios of everything within the wrap are perfect, quality grilled chicken, delicious raspberry vinaigrette, fresh lettuce, I get mine with swiss cheese (rather than the bleu cheese and onions it normally comes with) - all in a grilled wrap. The caesar wrap is spectacular also, and the quesadilla's are excellent as well. I'm sure that everything here is great. This place gets very busy during lunch time. I just wish they had expanded hours. They close at 4 PM every day and are closed weekends. If they stayed open longer and on the weekends, I would definitely come for dinner and on the weekends and am sure others would as well! read more

My boyfriend and I went to grab sandwiches at Cityscape Deli but because of the recent storm they were closed due to a power outage. We decided to try this place since it was close by and had decent reviews and were extremely disappointed. The menu was so overpriced. $8.45 for a hot Reuben sandwich that was about half the size of other sandwiches I've had for half the price. $1.75 for potato chips that should've been included with a sandwich. I think this place specializes in catering to puny humans. All I ever see them making are pitas with tons of veggies and fruit as well as salads. I have had their California grilled cheese and I must admit it was pretty good even though it made me feel like a vagina. I tried their Reuben today and it was pretty bad, they microwaved the meat, cheese, and kraut! Their sandwiches are also very tiny for what you pay. I've tried many times to like this place (about half a dozen) but just about every time the service has been awful. Even in non-peak hours they somehow always manage to seem completely unorganized and it can take up to 20 minutes to get a sandwich. On one occasion it took about 45 minutes to get to the front of the line and pay at the register, and they completely forgot that i ordered anything. So i essentially stood in line for almost an hour (after ordering) only for them to realize they hadn't prepared me anything at all.
