I ordered from Legends via GrubHub because I really didn't feel like leaving the house. Mike and I ordered a corned beef sandwich on onion roll for him and I had the Rueben on rye and we split fried mushrooms and onion rings.... I was shocked at how fast the food was being delivered, which was the quickest I've ever experienced ordering thru GrubHub. When it arrived it was still hot! Surprising to say the least. Now the food.....The Rueben was soooo good. Mike enjoyed his also. The onion rings were fried to perfection and the mushrooms were too. Only thing missing was the hot sauce for the shrooms. It was a good experience. read more

Only thing good here is chilli fries with slice cheese. And beware of certain employees, they'll steal your card information and use it on Amazon read more

Food was awful, Chilli was salty had a funny taste hot dog was salty , and mushy. My stomach began hurting within a hour of eating. Sad when I come to Michigan to visit, always look forward to a coney dog. This was the worst. read more

Legends is a local favorite of mine! The food is always good and served hot. This time around I just ordered a couple of coney dogs and an order of onion rings and it really hit the spot. Can't find a better coney dog around. The chili cheese fries are always a good choice also. They have kids meals that could really feed an adult at a great price. If your looking to satisfy that sweet tooth they also have great shakes and ice cream also. Best part is they are open LATE. Open til 2 am during the week and 3 am Fridays and Saturday. So if your up late and that late night hunger hits this place has what you need. You can even call ahead so it's ready when you get there. The staff has always been fast and friendly and the owners are nice people's. So if your in the area or up late and your looking for some good quick food stop by this place and get your small business eat on. read more

Quality has gone down since Covid. Besides staples like Chili Cheese fries or Cheese sticks, try some place else.

Legends is a staple on the east side. They are open late, and the perfect spot for when you're craving a shake, banana split, coney, or even shrimp. Always quick service and friendly employees. Their chili is bomb. read more

Trash food. literally trash. And they only give you a tiny ranch dressing container for a large salad. Just trash.

I highly recommend this place the hotdogs are fantastic and compare to Lafayette Coney Island. The drive-through is fast and convenient the owner Louis is a great dude who cares about the food he turns out. I look forward to going back. read more

This place is great. I've never had my order wrong here. you can tell the employees work very hard and do a great job. The outside of the building definitely needs to be updated the nineties swirl of purple and green definitely points out the era it was built in. I will stick to the usual they have their own version of a chicken Hani and I always get the side of fries and can't forget the Coney dogs!!! the chicken lemon rice is not bad either. and they're open very late so whether you are craving a late night midnight snack or looking for a quick dinner if its not greasy McDonald's fast food I recommend this place. read more

Legend's Coney Express - Drive Thru menu - Hot Dogs Near Me - Eastpointe, Michigan

This. Is. My. Jam! Looking for great bar style/coney island food, from a drive thru, on the Eastside? Look no further... Everything has always been top notch with the exception of the parking lot (needs a facelift) and the speaker system (needs a new speaker). The food has always been made to order and never made me sick. Staff is always super friendly and overly fast at knocking out orders. I come here often because I don't ever want to lose what in my opinion is one of Eastpointe's few gems. Do order; * Bacon cheese fries * The knockoff "Hani" * All the Coneys * Burgers * Grilled chicken salad The knockoff "Slim Jim" was 50/50 - I could take it or leave it and the grease from the cheese sticks melts the container at times. read more

I brought fries and burger and the price went up which is fine but the quality of the food is subpar at best. My fries are obviously re-heated and old tasting. I don't appreciate the price going up and the food being old. I don't mind paying for more but I mind paying more for bad quality food. I won't be back. read more

Legend's Coney Express - Grilled chicken pita - Hot Dogs Near Me - Eastpointe, Michigan

Food is pretty good. The problem is there's a 4% up charge to use any type of card. They don't tell you while ordering over the phone.

What a HIDDEN GEM. I absolutely love this place. Excellent prices, awesome menu comparable to National Coney Island. Drive thru? YES PLEASE?! They're FAST! The food is delicious! Go LEGENDS! read more

2am BLTS? Why in the world not. That glorious sandwich was at my fingertips in seconds...a godsend.

I reviewed Embassy Coney Island a few weeks ago as a good place to go late night when you want to get a real bacon cheeseburger late in the evening. Well, 1. I didn't know this place was open so late (4am) 2. The coneys are better here than Embassy (I still like the bacon cheese burger better at Embassy) By now most of us in Eastpointe know the place next door with almost the same name "Legends Coney Cafe" burned down a couple weeks ago. From a trusted source, these businesses are not owned by the same owner (I always assumed it) Coney's are better than average, they have a little snap to them, I assume that they have the skin on. (That's the intestine... hungry yet?) I am. Chili is fine. Fries are fine. It's drive through only but its pretty quick. I've been here in the past but I was reluctant to frequent it too much because the prices were much higher than other said places, the prices seem to have improved and so has the coney. Win for Eastpointe. 3.25 Stars read more

Salads are huge and delicious, best ranch dressing ever and they come with a nice, warm piece of puts bread. Coneys are excellent, hot dogs have a nice snap to them and the chili is good. Fried mushrooms are a definite musttry, especially with that amazing ranch dressing. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you're going to get. read more

My only regret is not trying this place sooner. I've lived in Eastpointe for quite some time and have always been hesitant to try this place despite all the good reviews. I had the best service, the staff was super friendly and quick. The salad I ordered was a very decent portion and had a hearty amount of chicken on a fresh bed of romaine lettuce! It was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be coming back regularly. read more

It's so nice to try another spot within walking distance from my house! You can only get Taco Bell for so long and finally get sick of it. Tried Legends last night because only that and TB were open (right next to each other) and we were very happy. Workers were pleasant, the food was great, & the order was correct. Can't complain! We ordered 1 chicken wrap, 1 steak wrap, chili cheese fries, and some coneys for a few friends. Glad to have a little spot like this near me. Must check it out if you haven't been here. read more

This place replaced the other Legend's that burned down several years ago ... what can I say other than that it's cheap and greasy good eats. Onion rings are quite tasty. Fries are typical diner freezer-bag fries. Lemon rice soup is surprisingly great. The hot dogs (whatever brand they use) have that good ol' intestinal snap and have nice flavor, and the chili is hearty (literally... heh heh...) and delicious. Pretend you don't know what's in your food and indulge in the tasty world of cow hearts and pig scraps! read more

This place needs employees that can understand everyone cannot eat onions. Granted, the food is good and prices are reasonable but please when someone orders no onions it is expected onions would be absent from the meal read more

Love love LOVE this place! My wife and I have been coming to this little gem for years and have never been disappointed. Burgers are delicious, coneys are great and have that little snap to them, huge helpings of fries, and the salads are incredible. We absolutely love their dressings, and the salads come with a pita bread as a side. We will be going here for a very long time. read more

The best Coney Island I have ever been to. I love the drive-through and it's open until 3 am!!!!! They have the BEST Greek dressing, and everything else on the menu is amazing too. The girls know my order by my voice as are so sweet. read more

I've been going here for years and love it. Let's get something straight, the feta cheese is and has never been moldy. This boy knows I eat here 3 to 4 times a week. I get a chicken salad with a side of feta. The feta is always white and fresh. Another thing is they make Thier dressings are fresh. With that said its a family owned business and they are good people. By the way this isn't corporate junk food, it's good to go diner food. Oh guess who's going right now to get a salad ? Me. Hola if you hear me!! read more

The food is always good here, I recommend the patty melt. I cant wait for the actual restaurant to open! The only bad thing I can say in the wait in line for the drive through and iv ordered onion rings and few times and each time they put it in a Styrofoam to go box the onion rings actually melted it so whenever I order onion rings or fries I ask then to put it in some other type of container read more

1-7-17 Ordered bacon cheddar fries and turkey melt. Food was horrible. First they used squeeze cheese on the fries. It was gross gross. Then the melt was old turkey lunch meat and not real meat. I knew I should of went next door to Milestone or better yet McDonalds for that matter. read more

I've been coming here for years. We moved away and had the pleasure of stopping back in today after a couple years. Everything is exactly as wonderful as we remember it! The chicken soup is the best (I just had six teeth extracted yesterday and hubs read my mind when he asked if i wanted to venture here for soup) their dressings are amazing. Everything is smothered or topped just right! Nothing skimpy here! We got our food drove away started eating and had to go back because i asked my hubby why he didn't get his bacon cheeseburger? He actually forgot how much he loved it and turned around to go get one ( which he completely devoured and thanked me numerous times for reminding him and going back to get it! ) Food is the best. The owners are so nice and I would recommend anyone who hasn't been here to at least try it. I don't think you'll be disappointed! read more

Excellent service and they have the only chili cheese fries I'll order anywhere. Above nd beyond

I have a question. Does legends now has a surcharge for using credit cards. Is this true?

The Coney are good at the Legend's but they also advertised Flame Char burger which is a lie it is cook on a grill and never touch a flame because they don't have one. After I got home I called and got the manger he was a could careless about pleasing the customer. I said they should remove those words Flame Char burger from the menu... he said never had any complaints before and said I was over reacting and felt no interest that the customers was disappointed. Said "he's got to go".... There was NO APOLOGY! Well I pray the Legend next store open soon they are it seems mortal enemies, one day I asked after the fire the Coney place when they were going to open they were very rude in answering and had no use for the other Legend restaurant read more

This place sucks. I order the taco dog & the lettuce was wilted, I got 3 specks of tomato & they charge extra for salsa or sour cream & by the way no hot dag in the taco dog. I ordered wings snack that had the smallest saddest wings in it & a large fry. my order came to almost 30$ & my small paper bag wasn't even full. So if u like to spend excessive money for subpar food... than this is your place. read more

Best chili cheese fries and Pepi! Would give this place 5 star but the woman at the window is rude. They need to hire the 2 girls they had before and get rid of these new workers. As soon as you pull up the woman on the speaker has an extremely rude tone. read more

Been coming to Legends since before I was even allowed to cross the street lol. I moved away from Eastpointe since before the fire at the sit in restaurant occurred so I never got the chance to eat at the drive-through part. Recently I got a job at the airport and was starving on my hour drive home and was sick of fast food so I decided to see if legends was still even open for business, thank God I did! Man, what I've been missing! So fast, the girls are so nice and food is great, when I tell you I still have another at least half hour drive in the car and I go home to eat and my food is pipping hot still lol, my brother was even like where the hell did you go down the street? When I told him Eastpointe he didn't believe me that's how hot it was lol! All I can say is one negative thing, and that's how the drive-through entrance is set up, a little confusing and ghetto looking is he best way to put it :p, besides that I mean it's a no brainer and they're open suppper late! read more

I buy food from here a lot since I live pretty close to here. The staff is always super friendly to me. The food is very good. I love their Patty Melts and Cheeseburgers. The breaded mushrooms are my favorite though. You get a lot of mushrooms for a good price. It costs just over 3 dollars for a good amount. The ranch is very good to dip them in. The coneys and loose burgers are good as well. read more
