Both the burger and chicken sandwich exceeded my expectations. I forgot to request how I wanted my burger cooked, but Joe made it just right (medium/medium rare). "The Sauce" on the burger was a nice touch, as was the "313 sauce" and kewpie mayo on the chicken sandwich. The fries had a classic taste to them, similar to McDonald's fries. I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this truck's whereabouts going forward.

I started with the Toucan Sam drink which was the only rum drink on their menu of specialty cocktails. It's a really good drink that is slightly bitter due to the campari and toasted almond bitters. For food, I was craving a burger but I visited on the wrong day. I chose the Thai style wings and a carne asada taco. Wings - the wings were decent but I got tired of eating them after the first 2. The thai peppers that it came with were not very spicy at all. The meat was also a little challenging to get off the bones for some reason. Taco - I enjoyed this better than the wings, even though this was smaller. Service was decent but not perfect. I was already ready to leave and then they asked if I wanted another drink. They were about 5 mins late since the bar area wasn't actively manned during a majority of my visit.

Pretty solid place for a BYO burger option…read more I like all the options they offer....multiple proteins, buns, toppings and sauces. Everything was well prepared, meat temps were correct, buns were toasted and toppings were plentiful. If anything, you may want to be cautious on the BYO toppings because things can get sloppy if you add too many. We loved our apps as well, boneless wings and pretzels. Will definitely be back

World's End was a decent bar/restaurant that was mostly known for its burgers. The service was…read morefriendly and efficient. The cheese sticks were above average. The fall out fries were the move over the regular fries. The serving size was enough for 2 people. The side salad was run-of-the-mill. I ordered a medium rare, 1/2 lb bison burger on a brioche bun with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, and bourbon ketchup. It ending up being rare instead of medium rare, and had fried (crispy) onions instead of caramelized. My wife crafted her own mac and cheese. After confirming the "chicken bites" were fried, she ordered a bowl of mac with those, onions, cheddar, and velveeta. The chicken appeared to be grilled rather than fried, and the mac itself lacked any flavor. Considering the mac was $21, we definitely wouldn't order it again. To say the least, I wasn't surprised to hear World's End closed. Had it not, I would have given it another chance.

This was such a good burger!…read more One of the best burgers I have had. I have been wanting to try this place for years. I was finally on the right side of time and had time to go in. They are located next to a gas station which comes in handy if you also need gas. I order the number 1 and my son ordered the pizza burger. Both were very filling and delicious. The original burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was pretty good. The onions and pickles were so good and I don't usually like pickles. I didn't try the signature sauce as I'm not a fan of thousand island. But many people will enjoy it the way it's suppose to be made I'm sure. The pizza burger was pretty cool. It had 3 nice sized mozzarella sticks on them and pizza sauce. We wanted fries and they only come in one size. The one size is big enough to share. We were suggested the lemon pepper fries and that was such a great suggestion. They are fresh cut fries and you can tell. I was happy they had regular fries and not the battered crispy ones a lot of place do. So they definitely will get 5 stars for the fries alone. It has some seating inside, but most people seem to get carry out. The men at the counter were so nice in helping us. They really suggested things we would like and we did. I will be glad to give them my business again.

First thing to know: this is a delivery or curbside-only operation, so don't expect to dine in. I pulled into the lot, called the number posted on the building, and placed my order right from the car. The process was simple, and my food was ready in about 15-20 minutes, which felt pretty reasonable. I started with the mushroom Swiss burger paired with Cajun fries--definitely the highlight. The burger was flavorful and satisfying, and the fries had just the right kick. For later, I grabbed a double cheeseburger "deluxe style." While it was loaded, it might have been a little too loaded--so many toppings that it overwhelmed the burger a bit. The only real downside was not having a place to sit and eat. I had to drive elsewhere to enjoy my food before it cooled down, which took away from the overall experience. Still, the prices were competitive, the service was efficient, and the mushroom Swiss burger alone is worth a return trip. I'd definitely swing back again--next time, I'll just pick my eating spot in advance.

The restaurant shares a location with a Mobil Gas Station on 9 Mile and Jefferson. The store looks clean, and I was greeted by staff when I entered. I tried the Taystee Special burger, which comes with a large, runny fried egg. The meat patty is large and juicy, and the brioche bun is soft and puffy. The curly fries were fine but could be crispier. There is also the option to build your own burger, which I may try the next time I visit. The prices are a little high but not bad for the quality of the burger served. The only annoying part was that I tried to put in my phone number for rewards points but it didn't work so I didn't get any points for my visit. I signed up for rewards after paying and got a coupon for $5 off that expired the next day so I didn't get a chance to use it.

The jalapeño queso tasted like jar queso from Meijer with two sad sliced jalapeños on top. It was cold and the chips straight from Gordon foods were very stale. We told our waiter and asked for hot queso and fresh chips and got back the same dish....Waiter said he'd come back to check if it was better and never did. Probably because he knew we'd say it still was gross. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THAT. Our friends got the spinach queso , which was laughable. The same nasty queso we had with some spinach thrown in and same stale chips. For my meal I got the salmon club. What a waste of $20. It came as a triple decker, the top layer had the smallest piece of salmon and my other half didn't have any salmon on top. Suppose to have avocado on it, which it was minimum. And the "crab mayo" was not crab mayo , literally just plain mayo. I took it apart and ate the over cooked salmon instead. My husband got a burger which was dry and over cooked, I've never seen him not finish a burger in my life. On top of it all they "had" to put on 20% gratuity because we had 6 people in our party, ridiculous. Service was so slow for a Tuesday, when it was so dead inside. I can honestly say I'll never go here again or recommend this restaurant. Way better places to eat in SCS.

Small restaurant featuring made to order burgers and fries. Very limited menu, basically one burger…read moreoption. It comes with cheese, pickles, grilled onions and a "yard sauce" that is more or less 1000 Island dressing. At the end of the day, it was essentially an upscale impostor Big Mac. The only burger decision is if you want 1, 2 or 3 patties. The patties themselves are very thin, but not in that good smash burger way. They weren't at all crispy like a smash burger is. They also have a crispy chicken sandwich (prepared same as the burger is) and some chicken tenders. I thought there would be more burger toppings and other menu offerings (a side beyond fries for example). Despite the fact that they only offer a few variations of the same item. I would've expected better execution than what I experienced. My burger was very greasy. Take a look at the picture on this review. There's a huge puddle of grease after I took my first bite. Wasn't very excited about that. The bun to beef ratio was way off as well. and little details that I like at a burger joint like a properly toasted bun weren't there. the bun was toasted, but very, very lighty. I didn't pick up much seasoning on the burgers either. The fries were quite good, fresh and hand cut. They give a huge portion so that is a bonus. Staff was very friendly and helpful which is always appreciated. There was good value, $9.99 for a single burger, fries and a drink. Add $3 for each additional patty. If you're a lover of a Big Mac, maybe this place will be up your alley. Personally I prefer a place that offers lots of toppings for a build your own burger experience. Burger Yard is not that.
