You can sit and look over at the Burger King where everything would have been cheaper. Or at least you could. The food isn't that special to justify the extra expense. Went here a couple times which was one too many and the grub didn't seem nearly as good as the OG Comet Burger in Royal Oak. They had the same food as the other location. It is a cute little spot. My husband ordered space cowboy burger and it is his favorite. I got a comet slider and it was delicious. The fries were good but to be honest I am going to admit they taste even better at the other location. The service was amazing. The lady working told us that she loves the owner. Meat is brought in fresh every day. The fries are dropped fresh every time as well. We would love to come visit again soon.

After confirming the "chicken bites" were fried, she ordered a bowl of mac with those, onions, cheddar, and velveeta. The chicken appeared to be grilled rather than fried, and the mac itself lacked any flavor. Considering the mac was $21, we definitely wouldn't order it again. The restaurant shares a location with a Mobil Gas Station on 9 Mile and Jefferson. The store looks clean, and I was greeted by staff when I entered. I tried the Taystee Special burger, which comes with a large, runny fried egg. The meat patty is large and juicy, and the brioche bun is soft and puffy. The curly fries were fine but could be crispier. There is also the option to build your own burger, which I may try the next time I visit. The prices are a little high but not bad for the quality of the burger served. The only annoying part was that I tried to put in my phone number for rewards points but it didn't work so I didn't get any points for my visit. I signed up for rewards after paying and got a coupon for $5 off that expired the next day so I didn't get a chance to use it.
