In a word, outstanding. Easily one of the most delicious burgers I have come in contact with. I highly recommend this fine establishment. I consumed the burger I ordered in under four minutes after carefully selecting the delicious assortment of toppings and burger add-ons. Some guys I worked with wanted to take me out to lunch for my retirement, Since I worked on Ford Rd,, there were a million choices. I had heard good things about the BBB, and wanted to try it. Epilogue I have eaten a lot of burgers in my lifetime. It feels like a loooong lifetime. Although I tend to eat really terrible burgers, I also love to indulge in tasty culinary conceptions local to my area. For the past few years, the hamburger heroism award has consistently gone to 4 joints. One could argue for personal reasons that one is better than the other. Let's be honest with ourselves (unlike that time you convinced yourself that it was fun to shop at IKEA), each establishment is awesome. The 4 I'm talkin' about are (not in any order): Shamrock, Miller's Bar, Red Coat Tavern and Basement Burger Bar. I've been to 2 of these establishments religiously mainly because of their location. Chapter 1 - Atmosphere After one fateful shopping trip to IKEA, I needed sustenance that was not in the form of a ball. My wife suggested Basement Burger Bar and my frown was turned upside down. When I walked in this location in Canton, I was surprised at how small it was. It's located in a strip mall. We arrived shortly after 1pm and the lunch rush hadn't started yet. We took a seat at the bar as most of the tables were already taken. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. Our server made sure we were properly attended to (aaannnd I forgot her name. I'm the worst.). She was really busy but didn't make that our problem. This place was also very clean. I didn't feel like I was in a dive. Chapter 2 - Food I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. This burger had thousand island, lettuce, tomato, sharp cheddar, apple cider smoked bacon and crispy onion straws. I ordered the 8oz patty and it was massive. I really enjoyed the tender and juicy patty. It was cooked to a perfect medium well temperature. The behemoth burger was stacked super high with onion straws. I do wish it had a couple more strips of bacon. The overall flavor was incredible. I really liked the fact that the thousand island was on the top and bottom buns. The juices of the burger poured out when I squished this towering tasty treat down to fit it in my mouth. At first I was worried that the juices would ruin the bottom bun, but I was pleasantly surprised that the bun held up to the test. I also tested my son's fries and I have to say they were incredibly delicious. They reminded me of the size of steak fries. They were the right level of fried (just like freshman year in college). I had a great experience here. The food was great, the service was superb and I left with a full and happy belly. The prices aren't too bad either. Since our waitress was busy and forgot to ask if we wanted fries with our burgers, she added fries at no extra cost to us. That's great service. If your misery-filled day at IKEA needs a little pick-me-up, drive the 0.4 miles (estimated) over to this place. It's really easy to get to. Plus, you can have beer. First time here and it was perfect! I had a build your own burger and sweet potato fries with a strawberry lemonade! I asked for it well done and they cooked it perfect and it was still tender and juicy. It was a little noisy though but it is a small place. It does get very packed on Sunday's. I had been to another location and liked the food so I recommended this to my friend for carry out for her bachelorette party. It's only about about a mile from her house and rather than hit the clubs, we figured we'd relax at home. Three of us walk in and sit at the bar. We fill out three menus and hand them to Brittany behind the counter. 15 minutes later she brings us a bag and asks how we want to check out. I ask to put the bride's burger on my tab. "You guys know I only have two orders here right?" she said. We definitely handed her three. She got angry and after arguing with her for at least 5 minutes, she finally puts in the bride's order... Again. She never bothered to ask three people if they genuinely wanted two orders. She stood there arguing with all of us, grabbing a pile of menus and saying "YOU ONLY GAVE ME TWO! I'll show you. Seriously I only have two they are right here! Why did you only give me two? Yeah, there are just two here. You didn't give me the other one. I have them right here." Really? I can count. No apologies. No "I'm sorry, I don't know what happened." Just petty bickering and huffing at the register. I've been here a few times even though I'm not a big fan of burgers. Being a vegetarian I'm glad they have falafel burgers and black bean burgers. The falafel burger was good, especially since you can fix it up any way you want. They have a good selection of sides to go with your burger too. I don't have any complaints about the service or cleanliness of the restaurant. It's kind of small inside so if you go at a busy time you might have to wait. Was here on a Friday after 10pm for happy hour prices. Tap prices at $3 and appetizers at$4. I have been here a number of times and have always enjoyed the food. I like being able to customize my burger. They give you a menu and an erasable marker and lots of selections from choice of meat, bun, multiple toppings. I have been here multiple times and keep forgetting to write a review. My friends and I like going in on Saturday night during trivia. The place is a little small which is great for playing bar games like that. The TVs are placed around the entire place, so there are some spots where you cant see them very well. The burgers are excellent. I also love their fries and always have nacho cheese on them. The beer selection is good and I appreciate that they seem to change often.
