I just had Zo's for the first time, and I ordered it again a few days later because it was so good lol how could you not love a burger with a mozzarella stick and an onion ring on it?! I also created my own friends and loved loved loved the caramelized onions. I got the Cajun fries and they weren't spicy, just added a little extra zing. First visit so started off with the original Good Burger- with onion rings, the burger sauce, and why hasn't anyone else thought to put a fried cheese stick on a burger before?!? Solid burger. Fries were good, very hot and crispy. And I'm always going to go with cajun fries given the option. Vanilla shake was really good, very thick, so perfect for dipping fries until it thins out enough to drink thru the straw. This was definitely a pleasant surprise. We were helping my partner's mom move into her new home in Canton and wanted a quick bite to eat for dinner. Very modern inside which is really nice. We tried it out for the first time. The burger was a little over cooked. It was burned on the bottom side of the patty. The chicken wrap I got was pretty good. I got the regular chicken wrap with fried chicken on a white wrap. The Cajun fries were pretty good though. They had great flavor to it. They kind of reminded me of Five Guys meaning the burgers. They have that new coke machine which I don't like the flavor of regular coke it bad. We might go back to try something else next time. Our family's favorite burger place is now less than 5min away from home....so excited!!! We stopped in yesterday for takeout and the new restaurant (which has taken quite a while to open due to COVID) is beautiful and MASSIVE. The quality and taste of the food was excellent as always. Third time wasn't a charm - The first time we ordered from there they got my wife's order completely wrong. She ordered a chicken wrap and when I got home, they had given her a black bean wrap. The fries had good Cajun seasoning, but they were soggy and barely warm. The second time we ordered, they got the order right, and the food was decent (just not really a lot of flavor, but good). The third time was awful. No cheese on either of our wraps, even though it was in the description of both wraps. My wife's wrap was soggy and gross (way too much mayonnaise). The fries weren't even warm. They were soggy and cold. Epic fail. The staff is always courteous and nice, but $30 for bad food just doesn't cut it. Burgers were good although not remarkable. One thing I did like is they put your fries into a take away container only when you come to pick your orders up. The only reason they are getting one star is the staff who waited on me were friendly. I had high hopes for this burger joint based off the pictures, however after driving home and opened my 3 special burgers I was sadly surprised. Not 1 of them were correct, and one was a chicken sammie. The burgers were to be a 1/4 lb. but they were thin, falling apart and the two who had them said they were tasteless. I had the chicken, which had jalapeno and mayo.. wasnt bad. Yet it still didnt end there. When I called to report this, my only options were to come back or a gift card. The manager also blamed short staff and also having teenagers for staff. Funny thing, first thing I told my husband was I couldnt believe how many staff were working AND the high schoolers were not packaging food.. i was there. Still gets better. I was to receive a text for my 30$ gift card... it has been about 40 mins since call and only text I have received was my food is ready... that was after I called Chad, the manager. Let me tell you about these guys at Zo's. Last week I ordered from here for the first time using Door Dash. (I just moved to the area and wanted to try a new place). When my order arrived I noticed the Burger I ordered was wrong. I ordered a hamburger but it had cheese on it. I double check my door dash order to see if i ordered it wrong. Nope wasn't door dashes fault. I looked a the receipt on the bag and it was rang up as a hamburger. So I called the restaurant and talked to Ali. Ali double checked and realized it was their mistake and owned up to it immediately and didn't try and give me some ridiculous excuse. He confirmed how I wanted my burger made and told me to sit tight. Ali had another burger made, got into his personal car and drove my new burger to me. I'm talking 8 minutes from call to him knocking on the door. (I live pretty close) Granted they messed the burger up but it was an honest mistake. The way Ali and the guys there handled the mistake was all world. The best part of all of this was the burger was incredible! Never mind five guys, forget famous burger, ignore basement burger bar, just look past every burger joint in Canton. read more

The good- Modern decor. Clean. Moderately friendly staff. Nice moderately upscale seating (for a fast food place). Food cooked to order, so it was hot. Coke dispenser offers a lot of choices. The not so good- Burger is mediocre at best. They use a grill press system to cook burgers. It gives an even cook rate pretty fast. But the result is a gray- meat dry tasteless burger if not seasoned. Meat needs to be seasoned (especially red meat) and needs salt to make it palatable. Don't want to (or don't know how to) season meat and this is what you get. Any restauranteur that does not know how to season meat to make it taste better will find himself out of business pretty quickly. Food must taste good for customers to want to return to spend their hard earned money. Lettuce on burgers here is treated with preservative which leaves a crappy aftertaste. The salad at Olive Garden and the lettuce on the tacos at Taco Bell taste like this. Bad. Lettuce bought in bags and treated to last longer. Crappy strategy to reduce steps in the kitchen but results in poor tasting product for the customer. Toppings on burger were sparse. Makes me wonder if they're trying to save food costs to be able to keep their doors open for as long as possible. Traffic was very light at lunch hour the day we were there. We ordered 2 burgers, 1 fry, 1 order of o rings and 2 drinks. Twenty eight bucks. We drive to Ann Arbor for Shake Shack or to Sterling Heights for Portillo's- two of the best fast food places on the planet. We are not opposed to spending for tasty food. We'll even go a long ways to get it. The price/value here is pretty bad and even though it's located a couple miles from our home we won't return for a bad experience just because it's close. If you are going to do food, you need to focus your effort- on speed/convenience? (McDonalds) Or on high quality? (In n Out or Shake Shack or Portillo's or Smashburger) Or on cheap? (Checkers/Rally) This place is trying to sell product at Shake Shack prices, but at McDonald's quality. Bad combination. There are really good burger joints out there. Everything was mediocre at best. The Chicken Strips were a little burnt and the fry oil tasted old. The Slider toppings were lacking (only one pickle and a tiny dab of sauce on each) and the fries were hard and dried out. I think we may have just ordered at a bad time... These are 1/4 lb patties, well-seasoned, cooked to "well" (next time, I'll see if I can order "medium"). 3 choices of bun - sesame, brioche, pretzel. Lots of toppings and sauces to choose from. The ones I chose were fresh and crisp. Service was fast and friendly, including a table visit from the manager to be sure everything was to our liking. Order was exactly as ordered, with 2 custom burgers. They know what they're doing. Burgers are assembled carefully. They're presented nicely, more like a casual restaurant than fast food. Nice touch! Sides were good, including very respectable onion rings. Fair portion size, maybe 8 or 9? Soft drinks are from a multi-fllavor Coke machine that includes diet Dr Pepper (yay!).
