The Burgers were so good and we got a great deal through Instacart delivery. I would definitely order again.

The ingredients were fresh ... melted smoked Gouda, (shredded) lettuce, tomato and pickled peppers. Not a fan of shredded lettuce. I prefer a couple of leaves of chilled crisp lettuce. The tomato was a winter tomato and did not add any acidity. The bun was properly toasted a beautiful golden brown. The onion rings ... sigh. Tasty and not a grease farm ... and while fried perfectly, they arrived mostly a giant lump of stuck together. They were served hot and on a separate plate a few minutes after the burger arrived. I decided to splurge and try a peanut butter shake. Terrific ice cream ... no HFCS aftertaste. Great peanut butter flavor. Two disappointments: - Value. $8 for the size ... insufficient value. - I like my milkshakes to be blended a bit coarse; not blended textureless, soft-serve smooth. You've been warned. My wife ordered the bison burger, well done. It was served precisely as ordered. She was happy. The portion of sweet potato fries was large, properly fried and served hot. Ambiance ... disturbed by one VERY LOUD woman engaged in a running dialog with the bartender. They seemed to know each other. Otherwise; it is clean, organized and has a good neighborhood bar vibe. Will I return? Yes.

I motioned my wife to enter as she has a hard time with stairs and was willing to wait until 10 AM, but came at my bidding. My wife order the Carne Asada fries and a fountain Coke. She love the fries. I ordered a double cheeseburger slider with bacon ( about $5 ) with grilled onions as standard. The bacon was PERFECT!! Chewy, but fully done; no white fat but opaque fully cooked! Awesome burger. 9 out of 10. I also ordered a raspberry shake. It was good ( 6 out of 10 ) and shared it with my wife. Maybe I am spoiled by super sweet chocolate shakes from White Castle. A pricey over $6. Perhaps skip this one or try a malt. I also ordered Chili Cheese Fries. Bless her heart, Ray cooked mine to perfection, well done fries, melted real sliced American cheese, and she put my chili in a side bowl as requested so I could dip the cheese covered ones on the chili ( I stirred in their hot sauce) and the few uncovered fries, dipped into my raspberry shake. Amazingly delicious. 10 out of 10 for each item: crinkle cut fries, coney beef chili ( NO BEANS!!! ) , and great cheese. Chili should NEVER HAVE BEANS!!! Finally I split a deep fried churro un-filled with cinnamon sugar. 7 out of 10. We took most of that home and I ate some during this review. One silly tiny note. The one unisex bathroom ( the restaurant only has 21 stool seats ) had only one working light bulb in the fixture out of 2 or 3. It was very dim like a seedy bar. I told Ray so hopefully it gets fixed soon. If that last bulb goes in there, I hope whoever is in there has their cellphone flashlight working. Finally the overall vibe is stainless steel lunch counter ( 1950's? ) with a deep kitchen. Seven short stools facing the street, Nine facing the kitchen and a very small tall table with Five matching tall stools. That lone table could be crowded with two customers food, but five? Better only have a beverage and one item, and that would be elbow to elbow. Shout out to Detroit Food Review for his October 3, 2025 review for here. That is how we found it. They do have a drive through if you do not want to climb the three stairs or use the ramp or if the restaurant is full inside.

Amazing to say the least, looked like not a lot of food but we are both so full with food left over! The restaurant itself is super cute and everyone is extremely friendly. The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

We ordered at the counter, grabbed a seat, and the staff brought the food to our table when it was ready. The space was clean, and the complimentary hot tea served in a flask was a nice touch. We ordered the Falafel Plate, Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Combo, Chicken Shawarma Bowl, and Shish Tawook Bowl. They started us off with warm complimentary buns and dip. The buns were decent. The falafel was amazing, fresh, straight from the stove, and full of flavor. The chicken shawarma sandwich combo was also enjoyable. It came with a refillable fountain drink, which was convenient. The wrap was sliced into bite-sized pieces and served with pickles, garlic sauce, and a spicy tahini-style sauce that paired really well. The zaatar fries were especially delicious. After the appetizers and wrap, we had high expectations for the bowls, but they were a huge disappointment. Just by looking at them, the chicken seemed very dry but we still gave it a try. Unfortunately, it didn't taste fresh or flavorful. The texture was dry and fibrous, and the large chunks made it less enjoyable. That said, the portion sizes were generous and we ended up packing both bowls. The bowl itself, without the chicken, was actually good Parking is shared with nearby stores, so it's easy to find a spot. Overall, the appetizers and wraps were great, but the bowls didn't meet expectations. Might try other menu items next time.
