If you have a chance to stay at this place don't pass it up. Amazing views. The fireplace in the lobby is a great place to hang out after a long day of walking the trails.

I went for dinner with my boyfriend, and we had a great time. The lodge is cozy. We arrived at 6:30 to look around, and we got a free glass of sangria because between 5-7pm it's happy hour. You can seat next to fire place on comfy chairs, or go on their deck to admire the view. Dinner was delicious. When you approach the dining room you get to be seated where they plan, on one of their communal table. Our table company was fun and we enjoying talking with them quite a lot. As entree we got a onion and goat cheese tart with salad. Then you can pick between three main meals. I had the Tuscan style beef stew, and my partner got trout with roasted vegetable and potatoes. Both really tasty. For dessert they served a dreamy chocolate pudding with fresh whip cream and blueberries. With dessert you can pick a mug and get by yourself either coffee of hot tea. Two dinner and three glasses of wine costs $93, pricy but definitely worth it. It's a culinary and landscape experience to try! Next time I wanna try lodging over night.

Awesome hummus sandwich! Delicious for even the most meat-loving lunch eater.

After a long, exhausting hike up Mt Greylock, we had little hope that the food in the lodge on top of the mountain was going to be anything decent.

The onion bites were a fantastic alternative to onion rings and dangerously easy to keep eating. The beer list reads like a who's who of great choices, and the wings were excellent, possibly the best I've had in recent memory. The buffalo sauce was especially well done, with just enough heat to know it is there, but still approachable even for someone who does not usually go for spice. The real highlight, though, was Joyce. She absolutely personified great customer service. Friendly, attentive, thoughtful, and on top of everything without ever overdoing it. Honestly, the level of care she gave rivaled service at a five-star resort. I wish Joyce could follow me around to every meal I have. She was that good. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly standout service. We will definitely be back.

10/18/25 second visit…read more I said to the owner that we were here for 7 days and came to Olde Forge two times. This is certainly the place to hit while in the Berkshires. This is the old world tavern feel. I love the entrance with the brick walls and saloon doors to the dining. The bar I'd loaded with patrons and you can see all the beer steins hanging above head. Tonight I started with their delicious maple old fashioned! Then I ordered their onion soup....delicious. We also ordered the nachos which were per her as well. I asked Ashley our waitress what the signature dish was, she said the wings so we ordered a dozen. They were outstanding and delicious, crispy! For dinner I got their delicious burger with bacon and cheddar and fries, great stuff. My friends had the pork shoulder which they said was delicious and looked tender. My wife had the butter buttered chicken sandwich which She enjoyed. Again, this is a must hit spot. Go early and catch the sunset on the porch! Ashley was an awesome waitress and very friendly. 10/13/25 We had an awesome dinner at Olde Forge. Jessica our waitress took great care of us and her service was spot on. It's been a few days since we were there so I don't remember all the dishes, my apologies. I do regret the Mac n cheese was delicious and creamy! The quesadilla was great as well. My glazed steak was spicy and delicious, very tender. We will be back before heading back to NY. Highly recommended!

I have wanted to visit this inn since it opened. I remember reading all about it…read more It was fine. I feel it was expensive for what it offered. The breakfast that was included in it, though repetitive was fabulous and thoughtful. Bagels, cream cheese, lox, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, fresh juices, coffees and teas. We had 2 breakfasts and took the same things. Bagels, lox and cream cheese, OJ, coffee, eggs. There are a couple. of baked goods that were very disappointing. They should upgrade those definitely. The rooms were fine. We were automatically upgraded to a suite because we paid in advance and went mid-week. The bathroom was lovely, nothing to change. The hallways and rooms were a bit dated. Fresh paint, cool colors, but old. The room AC units were loud too. Was ok but wouldn't return. In the hallways there is great unusual art. Like what you would put into your own home which is cool and unusual. The colors they chose to decorate with were wonderful. But, for example, we had a painted old wooden floor with throw rugs. A bit uneven. Not something I'd ever put into our home. The grounds were very nice. It was nice weather when we were there, and we brought bathing suits but the pool was covered with leaves. They are expanding which is cool. Mass Moca is right there which is nice, and this was very centrally located which is also nice.

This brewery is perched on the side of a mountain with one of the best views of the valley below. For a travel day during the winter travel season it was busy but not overly full. The place is cash only which is posted and they have an atm in the front room for ease. The mountain rustic decor matches the place and area. There was counter service for food and drinks. They had both canned cocktails, wine and locally made beers to sample. The beer selection is great if you like IPA's. We ordered two pizzas and both came out quickly from their in room wood fired oven and were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a stop if you're traveling near by or during leaf peeping season

Firstly I will say they did have a sign saying cash only, but do have an ATM for those without any. It is also a place you sit yourself and then order at the bar. It is located at an absolutely beautiful scenic view and they do have some outside seating so you can have a brew and pizza with a nice view! Beer wise I enjoyed their All Day Drinker and it was a light and crushable brew with more malt than hops shining through. My wife got their lemon drop sour which was refreshing with a hint of tartness. They also had a cider as well as some IPAs and non-alcoholic options too. Pizza wise they had a good variety of options including some not so traditional choices. The prices ranged from cheese being $20 and going up to $25 for the most. Those not interested in pizza are out of luck unless the one salad sounds good to them though I will say. Since we had 6 people in our group we ended up choosing 4 different pizzas. Our selections were Meatiator (think meat lovers), Potato Pie (mashed potatoes, bacon, sour cream, etc), Honey Apple Pie (honey, apple slices, cheeses, bacon, ricotta, basil), and lastly Okie Dokie Artichoke (garlic oil, lemon marinated artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, sausage, cheese, and red pepper flakes). It gave us a really good variety and like I said above our whole party enjoyed the pizzas. Had a great cook to it, with lots of toppings that packed in lots of flavor. The Okie Dokie may have been the crowd favorite while the Honey Apple Pie was the most surprising flavor. Leaned towards sweet with the honey and apples but wasn't quite dessert pizza. Great spot to come for a pizza and beer/drink while also taking in the nearby view!

There is also a bar area where you can purchase any number of craft cocktails, which are expertly made. We stayed in the Wilmington room, which is one of the few rooms with a King bed. The room was beautifully furnished, with a nice high bed, armoire, and television. The bathroom has a beautiful jacuzzi tub and shower. The linens were fresh and comfortable. Where the owners truly shined was with hosting the event. We truly felt special during the weekend. Every evening a fire was made in the fire pit out front. The breakfast each morning was delicious. And the main common room was cleared of furniture in one day to accommodate the wedding tables. Everything looked fabulous and made for an incredible wedding. I highly recommend The Wilmington Inn, whether for a quick stay, or your special event. You will not be disappointed!
