Order a pizza from here a couple weeks ago. Great Wednesday night, deal and a great pizza!

First time trying Barton's. Service on the phone was great. Ordered the double Neapolitan with the crumble sausage. Plus an order of tomato bread. Definitely a steep above most chain pizza places. The pizza was on the salty side for me. Parts of the crust were doughier than I liked. Maybe I should order it well done next time? The tomato bread was good, but not excellent. Again, not cooked long enough for me. All in all it was good, not excellent. But the price was affordable and service was great. read more

3 days since they messed up my order big time. They said there was nothing they could do. I didn't eat that night as I have throat issues that don't allow my to eat very spicy foods. I was told "sorry there is nothing I can do" after arguing with them, they finally said "I'll take your number and we will get back to you". 3 days later and still nothing. How do you run a place like this? My sister used to work their and I think when they pulled my number up and seen my last name they won't help? I just want what I paid for. 40 dollars. Feel robbed. They had burned our pizza about a year ago and did nothing then to. Shouldn't have Givin them a second chance. No jalapeños on the receipt, it was loaded with them. And their was nothing they could do. I don't even get that. read more

I was in the area and dropped in for a Monday special and lasagne. Service was sweet and quick. The Neapolitan pizza was cooked nicely. The lasagne was so cheesy and delicious. You must order the lasagna. Great portions and price. I will definitely be back! Thank you! read more

For as long as I can remember this been my FAVORITE pizza place. For the 4 of us in our family, we get a large double Neapolitan pizza and it is GONE by the time we get it home. We live about 30 minutes away but we will go out of our way to pizza from here. An amazing business and truly an institution here in NWI!! Their Facebook page is always full of specials and different things they have going on at their restaurant. Just today, my family was gifted a "Cookie Pie" with our order. Their pizza is delicious. So, why the 1 star? Because if they screw something up, all you receive is a "sorry". I ordered a pizza from them (which, btw, I do a lot and have been for years), and the ticket "rolled under a counter". So, when I showed up for my pie, it was never made. What did I get? "Oh, sorry. We can make you one now." The owner, who responded to my FB post about it, reiterated that the only recourse due to me was that they "offered" to cook me one then. I wasn't asking for a free pizza. But, maybe a coupon, a 2 liter instead of a 1 liter, or something. Nope. Nada. Just a "too bad your family is waiting on this, but our screw up comes with no consequences." There are over 30 pizza places that will deliver or are driving distance from my house - they will get my business instead of this place. read more

My family has been getting pizza from Barton's for at least the last 25-30 years. This is good, thin crust, greasy pizza that cannot be beat (for deep dish, Edwardo's is my go-to). I consider myself a bit of a pizza "snob," and do not like most pizza places due to poorly balanced pizzas. Barton's, however, has the perfect balance of dough, sauce, and cheese down pat. I usually do not bother with reviews but this place is just so bad that I can not help myself. The orders get messed up almost every time and when you try to get the food that you paid for they get sarcastic and make you think that you are in the wrong. I have never seen such low class attitudes and shameful sarcasm. This place really needs to change ownership. read more

Good food, terrible service and owners! The 'assistant manager' is incredibly unprofessional. She cancelled an online order due to her personal feelings about a customer, and then spoke to that customers in a disrespectful and unacceptable way when they tried to phone their order in, literally telling the customer to 'never call here again, never come here and f-off'. That is a CUSTOMER for your business. A customer that is supporting your livelihood. It is NEVER ok for you to speak to a customer that way. You are a representative of the business that employs you while you are clocked in!!! You either need to learn about in customer service, or find another line of work. The owner places no value on their customers, and allows this behavior. Sad because the food is good, but customer service is EVERYTHING these days, and both the owner and rude 'assistant manager' don't seem to understand that. I love their pizza. But their service pretty much sucks. I was quoted an hour for delivery. I called at an hour and a half and was told it was on its way. I called at 2 hours and was told that the driver broke down but another driver was going to meet the other and deliver it.. But ooh, they will credit my account as half off. I finally cancelled at almost 3 hours and demanded a refund and made PB&Js... The "lady" was very rude, sarcastic, and hung up on me. I will never offer anything from them again. read more

I ordered an Italian beef in store. I asked for au jus on the side. What I received was a soaked Italian beef sandwich soaked in au jus to the point where the bread would tear when touched. They gave me au jus on the side. That au jus is not what caused the bread to be soaked. The sandwich was wrapped in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil and the au jus was put in a separate bag and placed in with the wrapped sandwich. Needless to say a soaked sandwich was not what I was expecting. Also at the time I had asked for the slice of pizza and pop deal and the man taking my order said that they could not give me a slice and pop special because the slice needed to be custom made. What? You make a whole pizza custom made just to sell a slice? This is not what I call customer service. read more

Barton's is probably one of the worst pizza places around the area. I have had bad experiences with Barton's in the past but figured it was due to new ownership. I always like to give people second chances. Tonight was the final straw. I waited 1 1/2 hours for the delivery of our pizzas after being told it would be 45 minutes to an hour. The delivery people eventually brought me two cold pizzas. They complained that they were to busy to get things delivered on time. It wasn't until they had left that I discovered the wrong pizza was delivered. I called to complain but was told a new pizza could be delivered - they would not refund my money. It is more disappointing that the owner had to be called to make a decision, if the owner was onsite maybe we would not have gotten the wrong pizza in the first place. As a result, we all had to wait for dinner. This is the poorest service of any restaurant I have ever been to in the area. I can assure you I am telling everyone I know about this experience. I know I will never be ordering from them again. Good luck Barton's. read more
