Our driveway was constantly covered with needles. I got a quote from Washington Tree Experts that was reasonable. They did a great job with taking the tree down carefully so my neighbor's fence and house was not damaged nor was there any damage to our yard. The hauled most of the wood away and left some for me, at my request, to split for firewood. The crew was respectful, courtous, and the price was as we agreed. We are looking forward to a much cleaner driveway. The only problem we had was they were scheduled several weeks in advance so we had to wait but the wait was worth it.

When he came down we asked if maybe they cut too much off and his response was "yeah, I didn't see what they were doing but it'll grow back." We were offered a $500 discount on our $6,000+ bill. As you can see, 2 years later, the branches have not grown back and our yard still looks horrible. We regret trusting WTE to help with our trees as they did irreversible damage that cannot be fixed.

I previously hired the same company to do some work for me during COVID-19, and they did an…read moreexcellent job cleaning up the yard and cutting down and stacking the wood. When I rehired them in June 2024, they charged me nearly $3,000 to trim the trees in my front yard and on the side of the fence with my neighbor's permission. The sap and pine cones from the trees have been causing damage to many cars. I told the owner, Mark, the specific areas that needed to be addressed, and he assured me that he could use a truck with a lift or a bucket to get the job done. Upon returning from my vacation, I discovered that no work had been completed on the side area, and the mess left in my backyard was not addressed either. Despite contacting Mark with pictures and calls to express my dissatisfaction, no refunds were offered for the first job, and the wood from the second job remains uncleared. Given this experience, I would not recommend this company, especially since the owner did not acknowledge the issues. After two weeks, he sent some guys out to move the wood in one area, and they must have used chainsaws and more workforce to move it. That job was another few thousands. I know inflation has gone up, but I didn't think Mark would let his quality of work go south.

At the last project, I was concerned Brock would not accept the challenge as it involved a very close proximity to a six panels glass roof over which the pieces of a 60 year old Douglas Fir had to be manually transported. They performed stacking of trunks and chipping of branches and admirable clean up of the surroundings. Their pricing has always been very reasonable and communication outstanding. I feel privileged to warmly recommend this group of very service minded cheerful and respectful professional. I will for sure use them next time!

We recieved the bid about a month and a half before and told them about when we wanted it done. We added on a smaller job in the front, cutting back a messy group of trees and shrubs and it was the same experience. Do not hestitate to use this company. They really take pride in their work, they communicate with you and they clean up. What more can you ask for? I also thought their price was fair, especially for this time in Seattle.

If you want to *care* for your trees and know whether they are *actually* safe or not, my…read moreexperience is these folks are your only option... and they're a fantastic one that combines extensive tree knowledge with cutting-edge diagnostic technology. A distinguishing feature is: they don't do any of the tree cutting or removing. So, they don't have the financial incentive (i.e., conflict of interests) to push for clear cutting everything in sight. We made the mistake of hiring a conflicted arborist and he claimed all of the giant trees surrounding our house were about to fall and needed to come down. Tree Solutions' second opinion was they were all perfectly healthy and nothing needed to be done. That was 8 years ago and none of the trees have given us trouble. We are very grateful for Tree Solutions.

The crew did a great job with some fairly dangerous (but not quite emergency) trees near the house, plus some limbing of others. Maybe it would be a good idea to chat with the crew to see if they can top my tree since they'll already have the bucket truck there? I meet Jeff, he's nice enough and seems to know his job well. He's got the bucket truck set up in between my neighbor's trees and mine, all ready to go. It cost $350 to top my tree not including disposal, which we'll handle. It was done in less than ten minutes total and didn't require moving the truck, as three other workers hang out on the ground to watch the show. I'm glad Jeff is good at his job, but wow. Apparently it would've cost a few hundred more if the truck wasn't already there. I know a few other reviews have praised their competitive pricing, but that's nearly as much as I recently paid for someone to climb and trim branches 60' off the ground. Every coin has two sides I guess. Maybe they can offer competitive prices on other jobs because of easy jobs like mine? Yelp calls 3 stars "OK" and that's how I felt about the work that was done for the price. It's OK, I guess. I probably wouldn't consider them for other work on my property based on this experience.
