I have been using them for just over a year. They rebuilt our lawn this past summer (of 2021) after we ripped it up to repair/restore an old irrigation/sprinkler system. They have been maintaining our lawn health since then with monthly visits for various reasons: tea treatment, spot herbicide, aeration, reseeding... They don't mow - that's not what they do ... they are for seeding / reseeding / topcoat / health etc.). We are responsible for keeping the lawn mowed. In any case they are fantastic. They come and do their work quickly and quietly! They leave a handwritten note after with a summary. They answer calls during work hours. Oh and they email you ahead of time Re your next visit. My husband and I are avid gardeners, and we have a beautiful yard, but we were never satisfied with the quality of our grass. Then we discovered In Harmony! The entire staff is wonderful. Karrie is so helpful and all the guys who come out are wonderful to chat with and answer questions about the product. We have had them treating our lawn every 6 weeks for the last 3 years. Don't know what we would do without them. These people know what they are doing! They explain to you how treating the lawn organically helps build the soil so the lawn has deep healthy roots and therefore keeps weeds out. We hired In Harmony....Mark and Team to revamp our backyard in our one year old home. Phoebe came in and created a beautiful design and then Brian the Foreman made it come to fruition. We had two retaining walls that were built (to absolute perfection), a French drain, paver walkway, fountain and about 80 plants and 13 trees. One year later, I am finally writing this review as I didn't want to jump the gun! Being July, everything has filled in nicely and we can't be more than happy with how everything turned out!! We initially did not like the fountain flow and complained a year later and Mark had Brian come out and fix and replace with a higher volume pump. Customer service review given that they never showed up. I was very excited to work with this company as sustainable solutions and native plant knowledge are important to us. The reason I didn't give this a lower review is because we had to play phone tag for several weeks during a busy season so I'll own that. (I respond better via email with my hours but for some reason that didn't seem to be an option.) HOWEVER, we finally got in touch and were able to set up an appointment. I was so excited! He never showed. I thought he might have gotten lost and tried to call to leave a VM just in case.. he had my number but neither called to cancel nor respond to my VM - never heard back. I'd taken the day off work to be stood up.. Called the office again later and that guy wasn't there. Left a message with whoever answered the phone hoping to reschedule (despite the no show) and still never heard back. read more

We had an excellent experience with In Harmony from start to finish. I agree with the other reviewers: they were on time for both the estimate and work, the ladies answering phones were friendly and great customer service reps, they used eco-friendly practices, and the finished product was flawless. First of all, our job request was undesirable. I am assuming this based on calling various other companies and once describing our needs never getting a call back. We wanted a one day clean-up and our yard was a complete mess. In Harmony was the first company to even give us the time of day. The first person who answered the phone couldn't answer my questions so she passed me off to someone who could. She was very friendly and I appreciate good customer service having been in the industry. The second person I spoke with, Karrie, said she wasn't sure if they could do the job but she was happy to come take a look. She showed up on time and we had a conversation about the work we wanted done. She said they could do it because they were planning on starting a new division of the company dedicated to this type of service. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and didn't judge me (or if she did she covered it up well haha). I felt so embarrassed of our yard so I really appreciated her kindness. Also coming from a company who I'm sure normally works on huge, beautiful landscapes she was very willing to help us with our very small and homely yard. She is great at her job and was so easy to work with. A great reflection of the company. As for the actual job, they showed up on time and got right to work. My neighbor pointed out to my husband that they were working FAST! This doesn't mean the work wasn't quality. When they finished our yard was transformed completely. It went from a jungle of weeds and wayward plants to a manicured, clean slate. Which is exactly what we asked for. It was important to me to use an eco-friendly company, especially because I have a toddler and a dog and didn't want chemicals all over our yard. Their work was beautiful and not harmful to our family or the environment! We couldn't be happier with the result. No more walks of shame past the neighbors! So all in all a great experience. This company is obviously ran well and that is evident in everything they do from the first point of contact to the final result. We will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for clean up or landscape design (if you check out their website they do beautiful work). Oh and I forgot to mention, their quote was a few hundred dollars less than the one other company willing to come out and give us one. Amazing! When I moved to the Northwest 8 years ago I researched eco-friendly yard services. I was initially looking for someone to weed/mow and called InHarmony. They do a great job taking care of lawn aeration, soil soaking my shrubs, fertilizing my flowers and using environmental products. My yard looks wonderful and people in my neighborhood are always commenting on how my yard seems so lush compared to others. No sales gimmicks. Just pure care and customer service. We were looking for an eco-friendly weed treatment, fertilization. I found In Harmony and decided to call them. The 2 ladies who answered the phones were all very nice and helpful on answering my questions. They lady who came by for the estimate was also on-time (the first for any landscaping company we had call so far!!) and friendly. We signed up for weed treatment, fertilization, seeding & aeration services. So far we had 1 fertilization treatment and the yard is looking much better already after 4 weeks! I also love that they call & mail a postcard to let you know when they'll be on the property so no surprises, and after the service they leave a report card to let you know who came by and what was done. Cannot say enough great things about our experience with this firm. We had a challenging project in our backyard - a hillside slope covered in blackberry plants. I interviewed numerous teams for the project and Vince stood out from the rest as an experienced manager with numerous teams and expertise to pull from. Three summers ago the relentless heat baked our lawn, killing a fair portion of it. The following summer it did not recover, though I was watering faithfully both of those summers. The soil was baked and the water ran off onto the sidewalk. I hired In Harmony to see if my lawn could recover. It did. They have been caring for my lawn year round ever since and it is beautiful. I love that their products are natural and organic. Additionally, I have them use some weed spot treatments (which vanquished the buttercups that had taken over my back lawn), that have been very effective. read more

When a mistake was inadvertently made, it was corrected promptly and without excuses. They were uncomplaining in miserable weather, and very accommodating; when I changed my mind about the direction in which a small tree had been planted, they dug it up and rotated it to my satisfaction without rolled eyes or rancor. I worked here for two weeks and got treated like complete trash, and felt threatened for my life. On the first day, Margarito, pointed me to the wrong fellow saying it was "Pancho", which was my Lead for the day. It turned out to be Jose(1) and finally got redirected to Pancho. Half an hour rolls by and i'm on the road with Jose(1) and Pancho to the work site. The day was long as we had no 10 or 15 minute breaks and had a 45 minute lunch. The following day it was the same, the foreman, Pancho, forgot me at the work site when we were finished. I had to walk back to shop, half way walking there Jose(1) came to pick me up. I had been walking for roughly 45 minutes. The next two days were great as I had adapted to no breaks and a mediocre lunch break. I had gotten taken off that job site, the following day, and thrown in with Margarito and Jose(2). Margarito started calling me Miguel, which I had no problem with, but when we were driving to the site he would point at a male and say "You gay? You like Dick? Pito?" while laughing. He would then start to intermix Miguel with MyGay, which I took offense to. Jose(2) would take my snacks, Gram Cracker, Pringles, Ritz, over a course of a week. The day before I quit, he was eating them and pointing them at me asking if I wanted some, laughing with Margarito. On the jobsite they would ask me if I was jerking off in the Honey Bucket, then proceed to call me Jerk Off or Masturbation in spanish as a nickname. Margarito would make me work harder by drawing lines incorrectly, on purpose, for me to redig trenches for PVC piping. The first three lines were curvy, and once he said PVC I knew they needed a straight line. Margarito would ask me for help on the blueprints asking "what does "delete" mean?". It took me roughly 10 minutes to explain it. When we were installing a patio, he didn't go off the blueprint which said 7' away, but instead made it 5', which the owner came out with a measuring tape to say "we need at least 6' of space here for the kiyak and storage unit." Jose(2) on 6/14 spray painted my boots with landscape marking paint, then after three hours of work he had a full load of concrete on a gas powered ball cart and ran over my feet. Luckily I had steel towed shoes because he caught just the toes. When he came into my peripheral vision, I saw him looking down on my side, towards my feet, almost as if he was aiming for me. Later in the car, at the end of the day, he pulled a switchblade out and pointed it at my neck saying something in spanish. I felt threatened. Margarito came into the vehicle half way through, said something in spanish, they both laughed and the knife was put away. The work days were short and easy, Margarito would drive in the most right lane to the jobsite so travel time was maximized. Even when driving home. We wouldnt have a 10 or a 15 minute break, and when I would fall asleep, Margarito and Jose(2), would throw rocks at me to wake up. Margarito would grab his genital area If I would glance at him. I told a higher up, Vince, he seemed to care only a fraction. The day I quit, I went to Mark, the Owner, and said I am quiting, and he gave little to no care at all, "Be back in a couple days to pick up your check" he says. read more

I've had InHarmony help maintain the health of my lawn soil for over 10 years. When we first moved into our current home, the lawn had a lot of dandelions and other weeds. For a couple of years, we dug out the dandelion and other weeds in the lawn, then we had InHarmony come in to help with the soil. Our lawn is looking good. I had called and left a msg for a quote, it took me calling back to get to talk w/ someone. I got through to the quote person, gave him all my info and such. I thought i was making progress, well the next day i called to see if he was coming over to do the est. He said, oh i knocked on the door and the lady in the robe w/ the bull dog came out and said thank-you? I said? REALLY? I dont have a bull dog or that my nanny should be ans the door in a robe. He was like You're not... "x person? " Same last name, but different person and the totally wrong address! So i said, ok NO problem, can you come to MY house and give me the est? He got all flustered as if it was MY fault they got the wrong address ?? He shuffled me off the phone and said i'll be right over. This was Thursday and Its now saturday? We have been customers of In Harmony for almost 17 years. Due to the organic treatment alone, our landscape is much healthier. They have been fabulous in every way.
