After explaining my goals, he did by far the best job of explaining in detail what the process was going to look like, each step he was going to take, what materials he was going to use, and more importantly the "why" behind everything. This was confidence inspiring to someone who isn't intimately knowledgeable about construction, as it helped educate me on what to look for when shopping for quotes. When you're spending thousands of dollars on a project you generally want to know what you're getting, otherwise you simply place the trust on the contractor to not cut corners. Not only did David provide a detailed documentation of every step he planned to take, he pointed out the details in person while the project was ongoing. I changed my mind mid-project and decided I wanted several more square feet of concrete, and he was able to modify the plan no problem. As the project came to a close David made it clear that we could stay in touch in case there were any concerns. It gave me the impression that he takes his relationship with clients seriously. He is a passionate individual with a strong vision of what a good construction process ought to look like. I would definitely reach out to him again for future projects.

Pricing was reasonable and I bought the bluestone separately from a local supply company at cost, so just labor, sand, gravel and other materials. The project started the following Monday and Desantiel and team were done after 3 days. They picked up the stone on my behalf, so no additional delivery fees. During the entire project they worked diligently and asked a few questions to be sure everything was done to expectations. They worked full days with some rain while lifting 90 lb stones! Great communication and a friendly, professional interaction the whole time. Some even directly turned us down. Ariel and Laura produced a promising plan and a quote which we were happy with. We transformed a steep barren slope into flowerbeds with smart irrigation. They brought a brochure and samples so that we can select the materials that we like. During the job The crew came on time everyday. They carried their own mobile toilet so that they didn't need to borrow ours. Laura was very responsive on phone and text. They come regularly every a few days, but consulted us when there were decisions to make. We asked for additional paving during the job. They managed to incorporate that in the schedule. I could not communicate with the workers directly due to language. I didn't find that a problem. They leveled everything, which my previous landscaper never did! After the job They power washed everything and laid grass and seeds for the turf impacted by the job. Their job comes with a 10-year warranty. Laura said the warranty came with the materials and they find no reason not to pass to the customers. I really appreciate that but I haven't used it yet. We decide to work with them again for another project once I have the money.

They sent unskilled labor to our house who began tearing up our yard in a rather random manner. One of their labourers insisted on parking his dilapidated truck in our driveway that was leaking oil everywhere. I confronted him and he apologized, but parked in the exact same spot the next day and leaked more oil. He was too lazy to walk up the driveway. They run an amateur operation. Ariel runs the construction operation and Laura translates as he speaks little to no English making communication difficult. He rarely visited the site as they (admittedly) are overbooked and can't handle the work that they have taken on. The final straw was when I came home to a guy digging a crooked trench through our existing landscaping where we wanted a retaining wall (it wasn't even straight, he was killing plants we wanted to keep, and it was in a random location). There were no measurements, plumb lines, or any delineation markers. The guy was just swinging a pick axe. I called a planning meeting and Laura came over with a drawing she had oddly plastized with no dimensions on it that looked like a child drew it. Yes, it was in crayon! We asked for a refund and they refused. Our yard is destroyed and for that we had the privilege of being taken for our $9200.00 deposit. BEWARE!

(He overbooked and ran out of time for me) The owner got pushy and angry on texts when I asked for these final things we agreed to but I had no written proof. We settled, and despite it all I am happy with the solid work he did for us. Bosh I got that dump run, I will need to hire someone else as he is "too busy" to complete the job he said he would do.

Mind blown by how hard Alex and his crew worked!!!…read more We just recently moved into a house where the previous tenants were very lax on their landscaping (that's putting it lightly). The bushes next to the driveway were overgrown, making it hard to get in and out of the house. The neighbor's grape vines were draping all the way to the floor of our yard. And the worst part was this goliath wall of trees/bushes that completely blocked the pathway into the backyard. It was huge!!!! A serial killer could have been hiding in there! We dialed NF Landscaping, and Alex came out for a quote literally the next day. Their pricing was extremely competitive, and they were also able to schedule us in for the same week! When they arrived, they tackled the job with extreme gusto. I couldn't believe how much they did in such a little amount of time. Alex was able to cut everything down with just one extra person!!! He's a super human bushwhacking tree cutting machine!!! Extremely satisfied with Alex and NF Landscaping. Please take a look at the before and after photos. The difference is literally night and day (the huge wall of greenery was literally blocking the sunlight for one of our downstairs bedrooms).

He gave me a flat rate of $150 on Yelp and we set a time for two days later. Day of, he asked me "How much were you looking to pay to have this removed?" after getting pictures of the storage unit. Because of this I ask a different company for a quote through email, they tell me an quick estimate of $119 min load, or a max of $159. He arrived an hour late. He moved the items while I was outside setting up Venmo because he wouldn't take card or Paypal. I paid him $150 through Venmo and he left. Next day get a call from the property manager that my stuff was in the hallway. I start another 3 hour roundtrip to grab these items. The mover, when told about this says it isn't him. After I inform him the cameras were checked his phone line and yelp phone line disconnect. (The loud beeping kind) Because I paid through Venmo, a refund was impossible. I leave a review on yelp and inform the mover I am starting a small claims case. I get a call later where he offers a refund if I take down my review. I discuss the situation with him and he says it wasn't him, but he won't refund without the review being gone, so I refuse. He insults me and then disconnects his line again. Afterwards I get a refund. The mover still says it wasn't him and says either I or the other unit owner who was there at the time did this.
