The pharmacy seems to have high turnover of pharmacy assistants. The ones that ring up pharmacy purchases. The new ones are just as rude or now discrimintately rude toward non-white people. A new cashier named Pooja I observed being friendly and welcoming to white customers. But to me a non-white, no greeting, pratically a snarl and overall animosity toward me. Years of ineptitude. Nothing changes. My doctor asked what pharmacy was closest and I hesitatingly said "Bartells Snoqualmie Ridge, but..." and a week later, they didn't prove me wrong. After my second visit in a week, my prescription still wasn't ready. I got on the phone and had the script sent to Wallgreen's in Issaquah. Save yourself time and frustration and go elsewhere. Since being acquired, service and selection took a serious hit. Over the last year, they're been in the recovery though. Although shelves can still be a little bare, prescriptions are actually ready unlike in the past when I get reminder texts and they tell me come back later. Decided to write this review while I'm hold - just hit 54 minutes! This pharmacy is impossible to get in touch with, and I know from experience that if I go stand in line or try to use the drive through it won't be any better. I left them a message this morning three minutes after they opened trying to get my prescription refilled. When they still hadn't called back by 3 I called them and . . . here I still am listening to the hold music on repeat. And the best - it's not the fist time this has happened! I think when they get busy they just fill up their hold lines and don't respond to calls at all. These guys are always scrambling and very clearly understaffed. I feel bad as they're clearly understaffed, but also seemingly inept as well. After my wife gave birth we spent another 2 days in the hospital at which point during discharge we were told all of her prescriptions were sent over 48 hours prior. Get my wife home, go the pharmacy (wait in line ~40 mins) and I'm told 4/9 prescriptions will be ready today, the rest tomorrow, include her pain medication (she had a C Section). Told them that wasn't acceptable and I was going grocery shopping, would be back in 30. They were able to fill pain meds, but the other 4 meds had to wait after sitting on the prescription for 48 hours. Trying to call to confirm if they had been filled was a joke - no one answers the phone. Fast forward, my dad has his hip replaced and is staying with us. Leaving the Dr ~ 1 hour away, call to check the status of his prescription, we sit on hold for 45 mins. We're finally told the prescription will be ready that night as his next dose is scheduled for 45 mins. Get them to fast forward (he was still late on his next dose). Then has his Dr order a refill, the pharmacy decides they won't fill the refill as it's too soon - was filled in advance as his Dr would not be available over the weekend and he'd run out of pain meds in the middle of the weekend. I, my dad, and his Dr tried calling multiple times to explain the situation and remedy, same story as always - no one answering the phone and now we're missing dosages post hip-replacement because the pharmacy decided his Dr was incorrect. STAY. AWAY. Go into North Bend or Issaquah, but this is the worst pharmacy I've ever encountered. read more

Pharmacy doesn't answer phones, not even my doctor was able to get through to verify fill dates. Drive thru has been closed for a while, but when it was open, I'd often wait an hour or more. On top of all this, there would be one problem or another after a long wait to come back the next day -- with a similar wait. After going through this aggravating monthly ritual a few times with this, ended up driving the extra 5 miles to North Bend QFC where the pharmacy there actually functions. This Bartell location makes me realize just how difficult it is to operate a pharmacy. On the one hand I feel bad for the staff who are clearly in over their head. On the other hand, though, I HATE these people for being so incompetent when I have sick kids at home. It is a crapshoot whether or not a prescription will be ready, or will have vanished somewhere into the ether. The pharmacy staff generally don't speak much English, requiring you to write down the patient's name and DOB for them. Most of the time they don't have things in stock, and it becomes a wasted trip. The retail side of the store seems slightly better but do yourself a favor and don't bother with this location if you care about your loved ones getting their medication. read more

The Pharmacy at this store is its problem and has been for far too long. Everyone is saying to go to a different pharmacy but I have tried to hold out thinking they can turn this around, but NO. I have stood in that line and left empty handed more times than leaving with my prescription ans what makes that worse for the store is I put back the items I was going to purchase other than prescriptions. I have been giving this place countless chances and benefits of the doubt, since I try to be understanding of their understaffing issues. It's been a lot of incidents, between entering my son's file in the global system improperly (so it can't be accesses at other stores), and arguing with us about it; not being stocked up on meds, but telling me they are until I get there to pick up ; not picking up their phones; putting up the poor person who doesn't speak any English at the front lines of having to interact with the public (which is just unfair to her!), etc, etc. They finally crossed the line today. I went to pick a prescription with my kids, and hoping to use the drive through, which has been occasionally open lately, I let my 5YO wear her pajamas and I myself wore cozy joggers, didn't even brush our hairs. Once we arrived, we saw the drive through was closed, so we had to go inside. There was a long wait, despite a short line, but that's the norm there. I made up a game for my bored kids, having them search for imaginary leprechauns, to the enjoyment of the other patrons. They were great about not knocking or moving anything. I was feeling pretty good about the visit until we were exiting when the cashier at the front desk asked us to come back and asked us if my 3YO son's favorite blue truck (with which he goes everywhere, sleeps, bathes, eats) is ours or if we took it from the store! To take it from the store would have meant deliberately unpacking it, so basically she was asking if we shoplifted! In my entire life, I have never been accused of stealing in any way, and I cannot believe the first time had to be in front of my preschool children, and that it was, indeed, my toddler that was implicated. I am so disgusted with this store now. This has nothing to do with understaffing - this is total lack of respect for their patrons, even those who look disheveled, because they hoped to never have to leave their car! read more

I've had four prescriptions called into this pharmacy and every single time I have been told that they can't fill it because they don't have the medication.? I wasn't aware that pharmacies were able to operate like this? Every time I keep thinking it will be different, but the same thing over and over. It would be amazing to have an actual pharmacy up at Snoqualmie Ridge that can be trusted given the volume of families that live in the area. I imagine the bad reviews are from the past... or from some of the snooty rich people who live around here. Pro tip: if you treat other human beings as equals, they will be nicer to you. I moved here in the last year and have been using Bartell Drugs (drive through mostly) and it works fine for me. Most of the staff are quite friendly. The worst I've seen is someone who is "just ok" (maybe they're quiet or having a bad day since we're in the middle of a pandemic). But they're always quick and accurate when filling my prescriptions. Plus they usually give my dog a biscuit. How nice! read more

I personally spoke to the "RVP of Pharmacy" for Bartells a few days ago. This person is CLUELESS as to what's going on. She blamed the problem on a shortage of workers. It's really simple: PAY MORE and quit treating your employees like dirt! Solution: The QFC in North Bend is amazing! With 2 people ahead of me for my 1st visit, I was in/out in sub 10 min. Every time I've been here I was greeted by the staff, they always ask me if I need any help. At times it can take a moment to get a growled refilled, but less time to drive to the next place. Pharmacy has been a positive experience, pharmacists even told me about a code to decrease the price of my prescription. What more could you want? The take Tap at the til. Score. The Pharmacy is always very slow and nearly half of the time I have a prescription for common medicines they don't have the stock and have to order it. Today they said it will take 5 days! Don't use this pharmacy if you need the medications your doctor prescribed- you will not get them in time!!! I was to take the meds for 5 days but now I have to go get the script rewritten and drive to another non-bartells Pharmacy - horrible service and they should just shutdown. Shout out to the pharmacy at my local Snoqualmie Bartells. I was just there (1/26-roughly 1:00 pm). The people in there are all so friendly and helped me apply some coupons to reduce a large cost prescription I had to pick up. it was a wonderful experience and they all truly went above and beyond! read more

It is almost impossible to get through to the pharmacy on the phone. 95% of the time they do not answer the phone and they do not respond to their messages even after multiple messages are left every single day for multiple days in a row. Snoqualmie needs to get a new locally owned pharmacy. Just so everyone knows, Bartell Drugs is no longer a local business, it was sold out to a national corporate chain. There's a few nice people that work in there but other than them being cordial the friendly, I recommend you don't shop there. read more

Been waiting 3 months for a presciption. This location refuses to answer the phone, when you go in the pharmacist has 5+ people in line and no one helping. My doctor provided an updated medication since the first one was declined, still nothing from this location. Just moved from out of state and am just astounded at how poorly this pharmacy operates. I called to see if my daughter's antibiotic was ready and was told it was. In the 10 minutes it took me to get to the drive thru, they had somehow lost it. They took 20 minutes to remix it while I waited in line, getting honked at by people behind me. I would've just left but my little girl was really sick. I dropped off two more scripts to fill before I left and they told me I could pick them up today at 3:30. At 4:00, they still aren't filled and so I finally just walked out of the store. The people there didn't even apologize or acknowledge me at all. I finally had to ask if they were getting my stuff ready or what? I can't believe that the only pharmacy in this small community is so terrible and, judging from reviews, isn't improving. The Care Clinic inside Bartells on the Ridge was outstanding. The doctor Lynn was everything I dreamed to find in a doctor - compassion, validating, listener and knowledgeable. She was able to quickly get me diagnosed and prescribed necessary meds to help me get on the right side of feeling better. Nothing better than getting that follow up call the next day to just make sure you are feeling better. A hidden gem!!! read more

I had seen poor ratings prior to using this Bartells pharmacy. I was sad the IGA closed down both for its grocery and pharmacy which I used alot. So I anticipated that it would be a bad experience going to Bartells.The initial transferring of prescriptions was not seamless.( Not due to their fault - it was a computer interface issue).The staff were incredibly transparent, patient, professional, and worked quickly to solve and get all the prescriptions transfered. Since the initial IGA transfer, my prescriptions are always filled promptly. The pharmacists and techs have been impeccable. Whether on the phone, at the drive through pick-up, or in person, my experience at the Snoqualmie Bartells has been surprisingly fantastic. read more

I would give negative stars if I could. Absolute WORST customer service experience. First, no one answers the pharmacy phone number so I was unable to check and see if a new prescription was ready. So, I went into the pharmacy and waited in the very long line. Once I got to the front the woman working at the counter was extremely rude! She said the medication I need is on back order. It would have been nice to learn that over the phone instead of driving over there and waiting in line! I asked her how long it would be on back order. She said she has no way of knowing, in a very rude tone of voice. Then, she told me she couldn't help me and walked away! The pharmacist came over and said he would help me and to go wait in another line. I walked out and I'll be changing to a different pharmacy. Very slow, not friendly, very different from the North Bend location. This is my 3rd attempt at filling here. This time I was told they didn't have the full amount of one of the medications that I needed, they could fill part of it but that I would lose the rest which I understand if that is their policy but the employee could not tell me when they would be getting the rest or how much they currently had on hand. Thats very poor customer service. I transferred the 2 remaining prescriptions I had to the North and location and will not be coming back here. My experience with Bartells in general is that they aren't very quick in the drive-thru but there arent a lot of options in the area so I guess it is what it is. read more

As a result I have gone DAYS without my medication that I need to function each day. We have used Bartell's Pharmacy for a few years and we have had nothing but positive experiences when filling our family's prescriptions. It was when one of our family members had medical issues that required extensive prescriptions that we realized the gift that Bartell's Pharmacy provided our family. Each pharmacists that we worked with showed such patience, knowledge, and compassion for our family.
