Amazing fresh cocktails. However very very small portions for the tacos and bowls. Also we waited at the desk for over 10 minutes for a host to come seat us despite several open tables. Slow service at the bar as well read more

This place used to be much better when it first opened. Recently the food hasn't been that great. The menu removed their best taco which was the lobster one. Service is not the best. Ambience is really nice though. read more

I've been coming to Bartaco regularly for over a year now and the food has gotten better and better. You order through your phone which makes the service better. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the ambiance is amazing. This is my go to neighborhood restaurant, but with that being said, the only gripe I have is that when the food is ordered and brought to the table, they do not attach the name to the order so you and your party have to figure who ordered what which is tricky when people order the same thing. That is the only thing I would change. Overall, highly recommend. read more

Service was subpar to say the best. Have tried this place three times, twice when it was busy and once when it was slow. Same thing. Service was slow, inattentive and unpleasant. read more

Everything we ordered was a home run! To drink: Paloma Fresca and Mojito. To eat: plantains with Gordita sauce , shrimp tacos and duck tacos. Great stuff. Stellar service, and great atmosphere! read more

Great decor! Awesome drinks even though they took a while even on a slow day. Great happy hour. Churros we're not the best, loved it overall read more

Great tapas!! The nice part about Bartaco is the ambience. Very pleasant. Within walking distance from the mall.

If you are in Aventura give Bartaco a try. You will not regret it. Everything was top notch from the atmosphere, to the service, and the food. You start off by having water delivered to your table where the staff assists with giving you the option to order /pay via mobile app. This was an easy and efficient process and you could go back to the application multiple times and order as needed. Started off dinner with drinks and appetizers. The margaritas with salt were tasty and loved the presentation. Guacamole and both salsas were freshly made. My favorite was the sesame ribeye bowl and the combination of the fresh food was perfectly paired. Incredible I will be visiting again before we head home. read more

First time in Miami and after having a great day at the Aventura Mall, we drove over to Bartaco. It is located in a really nice area that has a lot of other great restaurants. This is the type of restaurant where you can dress casually or extravagantly and no one would pay you any mind either way which is exactly what we were looking for in our shorts, leggings and t shirts... the staff was beyond amazing. Absolutely fantastic people working here. The way you order is really cool and I wish more places were like this. The food comes out fast and it is delicious. The prices are surprisingly really good; the food is high quality and they could easily tax people for it. We left Bartaco feeling really happy and wanting to come back. read more

I have to just rave about this restaurant. They have this adorable covered patio area with very high ceilings and couch like seating. It is so comfortable and beautiful out there. Once you get to your table they explain to you their method of dining. You scan a QR code and then add items to your cart and submit your order. All of the staff is there to help you, so you don't have an individual waiter. If you need help or more sauce (like we did) you put a blue card on a metal stand atop your table and somebody will assist you when they see it. The staff helps each other out which gives you a great opportunity to meet all the staff members. Everyone is so incredibly nice there and were willing to help us with recommendations. We ordered almost all of the tacos along with the plantains which were amazing. I would highly recommend getting more of the sauce that comes with the plantains because it is out of this world and we put it on all of our tacos. We also got margaritas and An Arnold Palmer, which came in a large pitcher filled with probably four servings. My favorite tacos were the fish and pork, DELISH! Can't wait to come back here. read more

By far in the top 5 tacos I've ever had . Pork belly and duck are my ultimate favorites. Sauces are delicious as well Thank me later @EatAndRateIt read more

We had a full assortment of tacos and they were all delicious. I highly recommend the street corn, and Key Lime Pie for dessert. The staff was great even though they were working through some snags with the online ordering system ( which was the only negative about this location) read more

Tried bartaco for the first time. Everything was good...good quality, good flavor, good vibe. Staff was nice and helpful. Definitely a great place to have some bites and drinks with a group. I'm personally not convinced of this new dining trend where everything is self ordered and paid through the app, it really takes away a personality element of restaurants that is to me part of the dining out experience...again, just a personal preference, but be aware as this may not be for everyone. I will go again, but I'm not exactly rushing out the door... read more

Bartaco is located in within the ac hotel district and would not rely on google maps to get you there . The bar is beautiful and has a magnificent floor to roof open concept glass opening that connects the bar to the outside. The decor is modern and simple. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ordering system is a little different and kind of like some sushi places where you pick your tacos on a pencil and paper. Food was amazing. The tacos are well priced and made with great ingredients. Must try the tuna taco wrapped in butter lettuce and perfectly seared tuna or the brussel sprout taco that contain some roasted nuts. Drinks were delicious as well. Can't go wrong with the ambience and food! read more

Get tacos. This is the play....get the duck birria. Save your sauce and just keep getting rounds of tacos. And never get the ceviche. I am fully aware that ceviche is seafood cured in citrus but this guy just isn't balanced. Very bitter. Could use a little fat....a nice olive oil or coconut milk maybe if it's gonna be that tart. The chips in house are just unsalted hard tortilla rounds so stick to the tacos. Pork belly tacos are the best IMO. Chicken and shrimp are goto picks as well. read more

I wanted to give a neighborhood restaurant business and show support. I ordered through Uber Eats Baja Fish Tacos and the Duck Tacos. The Baja Fish was massive the fish was big and plentiful. I couldn't put down the Duck Tacos i have never tasted anything so delicious! I will be ordering again as this place was fabulous and the portions were great! I cannot wait to make my way through the menu! read more

Great taco place with multiple vegetarian options. The place is packed so make sure you go early and still be prepared to wait. The food does come pretty quick though. You scan the QR code on the table and your order it on their website. You also pay the bill on that website too. They don't like when you ask for a physical menu and try to give the order to waiter. The waiter was absolutely amazing though and kept checking on us to make sure we weee doing okay! They do have some hot sauces on the table, but all just taste super vinegary. The tacos are also pretty small so you need at least 3-4. Their tacos also only come on a single corn tortilla. The guacamole was fresh and tasted amazing! They serve it with whole Fried corn tortillas, that you break up and make your own chips with. The fried plantains were super sweet, almost like a banana. If you like bananas with a ranch type sauce and I'd recommend it, however I was expecting more of a savory plantain. The Tres leches comes in a jar, so it's not a very traditional Tres leches however it was still delicious. read more

Had a lovely time at bartaco! Andres, Valentina, and Nicole were wonderful servers. They took great care of us and made sure we always had what we needed. The food was very yummy, however if you are not a fan of spice I would not recommend. The interior was lovely, and the music was great, even asked for the playlist. Safe to say I would definitely recommend bartaco!!! 10/10 read more

Absolutely delicious!! There was a server named Andres and he was an absolute sweetheart. He always checked on us and was so kind. Also Nicole and Valentina always made sure to check on us and took great care of us. Andres, Nicole, and Valentina were all very friendly. The food was extremely tasty and the food did not take long to come out. Also, they have a new taco called the chicken karrage and it was luscious. Absolutely scrumptious. I recommend this restaurant to every single foodie in Miami. The manager of the restaurant was also very kind and made sure my party and I were comfortable and taken care of. The corn and guacamole were also fantastic. Will be returning read more

If you are in the Aventura area it is absolutely mandatory that you go and eat here. As soon as I stepped into the restaurant I was immediately welcomed by the host. The restaurant has a super cool look and feel and awesome food to back it up. Shoutout to the bar tender Camilo! He made some great taco recommendations, almost tried every one on the menu, and makes the best margarita I have ever had. I will 1000% be coming back next time I'm in the area! read more

I was drawn to Bartaco after reading about the duck tacos. I started with the pineapple which was refreshing. I did order the duck, rock shrimp, chicken chorizo an pork belly tacos. All of them were good however, the pork belly was the best! Between the flavors and the crispness of the meat which doesn't have a lot of fat on it I ordered a second. My concern has been that I won't be able to stop eating this one particular taco. I also had the key lime pie. You really shouldn't go to a taco place, in South Florida, for dessert read more

Customer service Newer concept. You order everything on an app. Everything you need is on your table, hot sauce silverware, water and napkins. Food Tried the shrimp, duck and pork belly tacos. They were all amazing! Highly recommend getting the bowl with pork belly, not in a taco. Best pork belly I have ever had. Don't add any hot sauce, it will effect the sweet taste to the pork belly. Ambience Great upbeat background music. Everyone was friendly. Had a great time. read more

Very cool place, good food and drink. They gave us complimentary chips with different salsas and Guacamole. Variety of little tacos was awesome! read more

The ambience of the place is cool. The decoration is well-thought-out. Portions are small so make sure to order many plates to try out different flavors. I went after covid and they've changed the way you order and it seemed cumbersome: you have to download the app, create a username, add your credit card and THEN you can order. Plus you miss the interaction with the waiter and all those questions you have regarding the menu. Pro tip: if you don't like spicy food ask before ordering. The guac is spicy! read more

Listen I first came here 4 years ago for the first time and it was amazing. Last night I had the opportunity to go for a second time and let me just say my experience was even better than the first. Let's start with the simple setup of scanning the barcode and just ordering as you enjoy the environment with your friends. I ordered the glazed pork belly and it was so good. The Manager Gideon came by and checked on us, making sure our food was good and drinks. I had let him know that our spicy margaritas were a bit sour, maybe too much lime used and he offered to have them redone and even rewarded us each with a free taco coin. I definitely recommend this location, beautiful setup and great staff. read more

This place is 10x better than chipotle in my opinion. So fresh and so flavorful! The avocado is great as an add on to the chicken bowl. I stick to the same thing when I eat here but I think I'll definitely try more items just for the heck of it. The staff are very kind and helpful. The restaurant has an entire vibe of its own amongst the other restaurants. Very happy returning customer (: read more

This place is Great! The menu has great options depending on your mood. The tacos are well prepared and bursting with flavor. I have the rib eye, the duck, the shrimp, the Baja chicken, and the pork belly. All were spot on! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They don't hover around the table so you can enjoy the wonderful atmosphere but as soon as you put up the sign they give you someone pops right up and takes care of you. The atmosphere fun videos with great music and colorful decor. Overall great place!!!! read more

Bartaco never ceases to amaze me. I have eaten here a countless number of times and the food is always fresh and flavorful. My favorite is the baja fish and I typically try the secret taco. I tried today the falafel taco. Nice balance of what is a yogurt type dressing studded with mint and cilantro I do believe. My other favorite thing about Bartaco? The bathrooms!! Always spotless. I don't care how good the food is, if the bathroom is dirty I will never return. read more

All the tacos were great other than the falafel one. It was wayyyy too spicy, and that's coming from someone who likes spicy. I couldn't finish it. The ribeye, fish, and chicken tacos were very flavorful. The guacamole was just ok. I feel like I can make better guacamole at home. The best part about this place is the system. You don't have to wait for a waitress to order the next round of tacos or pay for the check. It's all very easy on the app and It's so convenient and the food is good so I will be back. read more

Extensive menu with really intersting flavor combinations and originality for a reasonable price.

The food was amazing . I could have sat here for hours with friends and ordering , they made it seamless for the menu to order. The fish , mushroom and quesadillas are on point. Interesting place. But everything spicy (I like it), menu system not great and expensive.. $50 on tacos per person it's a lot.. maybe this place ok, not great read more

Great food great service and they're open late. The tacos are small but delicious, totally worth it.

So... let's start with the positive things...! The food is very good, tasty and it came fast. The service instead, is a mess... they are not very detail oriented let's say. They forgot to bring me a glass, I had to order it twice, there is no one at the door to welcome you so you get in there and you have to look for a waitress... Prices are decent abs portions are small but again, the food is pretty good. We were two people, we ordered three little things and we paid $33 tip included. read more
