Well I had an unfortunate encounter. I was running late to my appointment that was at 11:45 I was going to get there at 11:57 most doctor places gives a 15 minute grace period which I really needed. so I called as I was on the way I asked if it was okay if I got there a bit late and she asked me for my information and put me on hold. I was half way there then another girl answered restarting the process. she then says "yeah I'll have to see cause he might have to get to the ones that make it" I felt that that was an unnecessary comment but I just said OK and then got put back on hold. Then I wait again and when I was right around the corner, she picks back up and says yes we have to reschedule you. I told her I was two minutes away, just at that light and she just said yeah cause the doctor has to get to the other patients. so she was in the middle of getting my information again to reschedule while I was already in the parking lot. I'm 15 minutes late and the appointment would've taken 30 minutes. So they benefited off of me being late getting in sooner. Rather than just having to wait a little bit. There could've been other patients later in the day that would've canceled getting everything back on track which is why I figured most places were fine with the 15 minute Grace period, but I know some places don't go by that so just wanted to get on here to basically tell yall if yall do run late more than like it'll be better to reschedule. I try not to be late, but in the misfortunate event I ended up late... I was just hoping for at least a better interaction. I still rescheduled because I have no ill way towards them. I'm just leaving a review on my encounter. read more

Dr jasmine was amazing!!! she explained the whole process and gave me so much information about my exam, the staff was so detailed and so attentive and throughout on insurance information, what a great office. This was my first time at this location this morning and I am very happy and pleased with the care I have received. I am looking forward to receiving my eyeglasses that are covered through my medical insurance. It's such a blessing from God to have medical insurance. I know not everyone is able to receive or has l medical insurance so Father God please continue to bless and keep them Father God. As a young woman who parents both passed young it's important that I take care of my health at all cost and that includes getting regular routine eye exams. I plan to live as God allows me to! Now The young ladies Krystal and Eliza were helpful and courteous to me as well as the manger Rebecca who was also very helpful towards me. Every question that I asked was answered respectfully and I appreciate that so much. You know how sometimes you are hesitant to ask a question because you think you should already know the answer to the question you are wanting to ask? well I asked it anyways and I got the help I needed. Speak up and advocate for yourself when needed. That's what God has been teaching me. Don't be afraid to ask them questions ladies and gentlemen. God gave you a voice for a reason so use it. Now back to the nice young ladies in the front of the office when you walk into the establishment, you can tell that the three young women all work well together because of the flow of the office. It was very therapeutic and nice for me to see them all working together and helping one another out with the customers that were coming into the optometrist office to be seen just like me. There was never a long line of customers while I was there and I was seen and spoken to when I came inside. Once there was a person waiting to get seen and both Krystal and or Elisa was attending to another customer the manager Rebecca stepped right in and said "I can help you" that's what I'm talking about! That is how a manager is suppose to manage. Dr. Jasmine who did my eye exam was so sweet and also very attentive to me. She made sure I was comfortable and she remained calm and professional with me while I was a bit nervous being it was my first time in their establishment and it has been a while since I got my eyes checked. Now yes, It can definitely be a little nerve wracking when you are going to get your eyes seen not knowing the outcome of your eye exam results but GOD IS GOOD! My eyes are healthy Dr. Jasmine assured me and I am so happy. Dr. Jasmine took the time to explain everything to me. I left out of the optometrist earlier today smiling from ear to ear. I highly recommend this office. I am new in the area and I truly appreciate good and hard work from others. God bless and keep them all and their families too. Thank you God for favor in today. I used to love coming here to do my eye exam once a year and I still enjoy the doctors but the staff needs to get a grip. They are rude disrespectful to the patients and I am not sure the doctors know they seem to dislike helping patients order glasses, pick out frames and pickup frames they are just plain rude... Do not go unless you like being ignored or looked down upon. read more

I caught my dog jasmine after she chewed off half of one of the ear pieces to my glasses. She did this on cement and my glass lenses were so scratched up I had to get new glasses. I went to Barstow and got a eye exam, picked out new frames and ordered new glasses. It took about three weeks, received a phone call saying my glasses were ready to pick up. When I got there I needed the glasses adjusted so they would fit correctly. As I sat down I read a sign stating that if they broke my glasses while adjusting them, they would not be responsible. I have never in 50 years read a sign like theirs And I didn't like their sign. To me ,basically , their sign stated ; they do not know how to properly adjust glasses. It's common knowledge, when you pick up your new glasses they get adjusted so they fit on your face properly. Regular people don't know how to adjust their own glasses and many places state if you adjust your own glasses and break them we are not responsible. We will adjust your glasses and when you leave and get the feeling they are not adjusted right bring them back and we will adjust them as many times as it takes until you are comfortable with the fit. That sign gave me the feeling that the people working there were not competent. The woman adjusted them without breaking them. Hallelujah! I walked out to my truck and before I got in I noticed my glasses did not transition. I paid $165. Dollars extra to get the darkest transitions because my eyes are sensitive to the sun. I had to go back in and show them there is no transitions. They pulled up my receipt saw I paid for the transitions and saw the glasses had no transitions. I was told they would order another pair of glasses with the transitions. I was told I could take and use the new glasses without the transitions. They would call me when the new glasses come in. Weeks later the eye doctor tells me that glasses will not transition in a vehicle. I think to myself, oh great! The eye doctor don't even know what he's talking about. I've been wearing transitions for 50 years and no matter where you are those glasses will transition. All it takes is the sun beating down on those glasses. I would know, because I'm a very unlucky woman. No matter the direction I'm traveling in or the time of the day it seems I've always got the sun beating down on my face. Maybe the eye doctor believes if your in a vehicle the sun will never ever touch you anywhere. Sooo..... your glasses will never transition! Well... that eye doctor don't know the difference between sh.. and Shinola! I used the new glasses for there bifolcals And used my old glasses mostly because they had the transitions. About a week later I was reading something at night and decided to go outside, smoke a bowl and look at the stars. I was wearing my new glasses when I went outside and I notices all the residential lights and the street lights that I saw off in the distance were all blurry. I went back inside and got my old glasses, I put them on and the lights were no longer blurry. I did this many times and it was apparent, my new glasses had the wrong prescription. I called the next day and told them the prescription was incorrect. The woman I spoke with got real loud and asked me why I didn't tell them the day I got them. I simply replied I just found out last night because I have only been using the new glasses for reading and mostly using my old scratched up glasses because they have the transitions. The woman told me when you come in to pick up your new glasses the doctor will re-examine your eyes. Two weeks later I get a call , come pick up your new glasses. As it turned out the woman I spoke to on the phone two weeks prior never said a word to anyone in the office about my prescription being wrong. So there I am going to pick glasses that are no good that I waited two weeks for just to get my eyes re-examined. It made no sense all to me but at least I would get my eyes re-examined. If that's what it took to get my eyes reexamined-whatever. Sooo... I get down there and this skinny sh.. for an additude Mexican woman treats me so snotty and chews me up one side and down the other side and treats me as if I'm trying to get one over on them. Maybe she thinks I'm trying to get three glasses for the price of one. If I was going to do that I most certainly would be doing that with glasses I can not see out of. Then to top it off the doctor don't reexamine my eyes but the skinny woman gives me an appointment to come back in two days to get my eyes reexamined. Well I can't type anymore. Since the old Dr. 's retired this place has gone to hell in a hand basket. The place has screwed me over so many times and when I complain, they try and make it my fault! They try and convince me I can see, when the lenses they sell you are cheap, crap and are not correct. They have had to send my glasses out multiple times to get them right and when I threaten to not accept them, or return them they tell me I can't. These people are honestly horrible at what they do... even my RX was wrong! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

They don't guarantee or warranty their work or their products.They won't fix the problem but they will charge you an extra $75 to replace frames that last a month. Glasses should last more than a month, Especially when you take good care of them. Don't go here. read more

Worst eye doctor I've ever been to. Please don't go here they tell u that ur Glasses will be ready in about two to three weeks but yet I've been waiting longer than that. Even when the glasses are ready they don't call to notify you like they say they will and when you do call to see if they're ready do they give attitude and tell you that it's going to be a longer wait an additional 3-4 weeks. read more

I took my 6 year old son here because the school eye exam indicated he needed to be seen. They had an appointment available soon and it wasn't busy when we arrived. The office was clean and organized and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Lim couldn't have been more nice, patient, and caring towards my son who really didn't want to be there and was very anxious. She explained everything and tried her best to make him comfortable. She genuinely seemed to care about the health of his eyes. I can't recommend this office enough. read more
