I set an appointment over the phone and it was super easy. Unfortunately when we got there, they didn't have the appointment in the system. They were able to squeeze us in, but it meant a longer wait because it was essentially double booked. The Dr was polite but didn't explain much. Even when asking questions about the process or prescription he wasn't very clear or direct. Picking out glasses was easy, staff were polite and helpful. I was a little surprised that they let us place the glasses back on the shelf after trying them on. The other place I go to would have you put them in a container so that they could sanitize them before putting them back. Glasses came when they said that they would and they were easy to pick up. They didn't offer any discounts or specials for buying things 100% out of pocket which would be nice. We'll come back here because of the insurance, but it's not my favorite eye place. read more

I just wanted to say thank you to Gabby. This is my first time with prescribed glasses and sun glasses. My experience started a bit rocky because the polarized lenses made things seem 3d . Rather then say there was nothing she can do she asked if it was ok to ask me a couple questions. That led to her figuring out what the issue was and now I have a pair of polarized prescription sun glasses and they are great! I haven't been to this location in 4 years until today and I'm still just as pleased. I called today to make an appointment & got one luckily (just like the first time I went). I was in & out in a hour - hour half. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is clean with a lot of options for glasses. The doctor answered all my questions & was extremely patient and polite. I recommend this location to my family anytime they need to be seen. read more

The Customer Service is terrible. The girls are rude. When you walk in the girls and one guy in the front are sitting around gossiping waiting to clock out. Except the one that sits right by the door when you walk in. She is really nice and professional. Lady at the middle desk is rude. Really Didn't explain the coverage and what I was paying for, or give options to choose from for lenses. She Just gave me a total. She kept staring at me as I was looking for a frame which was uncomfortable. I had a similar experience the year before with the same person but thought I'd give them another shot. I was here with my daughter last week. In the 12+ years that we have been to this office, we have never experienced any of the staff ever be rude like that day. Denise in the front office was rude right from the start. When she asked for insurance card, I said oh let me look for it, right away without a skip she said she couldn't see us. Ummm hello, I wasn't done looking in my wallet, which I had the card. After that she just gave me paperwork, but again very rudely. We were assisted by the Dr and got her exam BUT she never put on the form that we were there for a contact exam which is totally different than glasses exam. Angelica was next to her and was trying to step in to help us out, better attitude but not the best. While we were waiting and there was a full room of patients Denise was just relaxed in her seat with her legs crossed and up on the desk. That is so unprofessional for such a good office. After her exam we were told to go see glasses , which i was a bit confused. Thankfully we were later assisted by Maria in which she caught we were missing the main exam we went for. SO now she had to go back to get her exam done. If it wasn't for the attention Maria has with her job we would have not been aware the wrong exam was performed. I do have to say Maria is always going above and beyond to make sure the patients feel taken care off and understand. She was very patient with my daughter and showing her for the first time to use contacts. I really wish the Dr would look at his front office staff and demand they are more professional and attentive to patients. That can really make some patients not come back. I am just glad they have Maria, Gabby and Liz there to make sure everything else of the visit is good. read more

Went here to get glasses. The Dr rushes... got my script wrong tried to get them fixed here .... aaked for Dr to slow down so we could get it right. They made me an appointment and then called back and asked me to go somewhere else.. I was not rude to them. I was very polite, especially in light of the fact that they screwed up my prescription. I have been wearing glasses for ten years and I have never had this problem. They Have available appointments pretty quick. Now I know why. Don't waste your time or money going here. The doctor is not a listener for sure, and he goes way too fast. He doesn't even give your eyes time to focus. Not a good place to go just saying. read more

I recently went to Vision Express because I need glasses to drive. I was seen by David S, Shin O.D. who did a thorough exam I was also seen by Gabby Perea to pick out and order my new glasses. I was notified a week later my glasses were in. I picked them up, but noticed the bifocal was a little low. When coming back to the office I saw Lisset Parra who happily rechecked my glasses and saw they were just a little off and reordered new lenses. Thank you all at Vision Express! I came in with eye problems they took my medical insurance card and Id filled out a few short forms and in a few minutes I was being seen by the assistant and only a short wait after that the dr. The Optometrist was professional, pleasant, calming, and adept enough to diagnose and prescribe lens that perform best for my Wife's conditions. The employees and Doctor are great. Very helpful and nice. HOWEVER plan to be here for more then 2 hours. Every time we come we end checking in 15 minutes prior to our appointment only to have to wait at least an hour to see the doctor. I think they need to schedule their appointments further apart so that patients aren't waiting. They need to consider that their patients time is just as important as theirs. I'm sure it's frustrating for them when a patient arrives late. So at the same time it's frustrating when a patient shows up on time and is left waiting for excessively long periods. Fix this issue and they would be a great place to go to for vision needs. Otherwise prepare to sit there doing nothing for a long time. read more

This is my second review after getting my second pair of glasses here. When I look at reviews from 2014, I have to think that the staff have changed (although there is one individual who generally LOOKS unhappy to be there). Anyway, ALL phases of my experience were positive. They got me in very quickly (same day), and my wait time was under 15 minutes. The Optometrist was excellent, and spent considerable time with me answering questions and making sure my prescription was right. While the frame selection could be better, I found frames I like. The technician was very patient discussing all my options, features, and insurance. Unless future issues arise, this is my new place for glasses! read more

BEWARE!!! I have been a patient at this office for 2 years. I had my contact exam in November, the doctor gave me a pair of contacts that he said I should be fine with but to come back if there was a problem. Well I picked the wrong time of year to go in because I was extremely busy and didn't call back to have my contacts rechecked until January. These people won't work with you, their excuse is always "you signed the form stating so and so". So I would have to pay $50 for a new checkup, I asked the girl if she could give me a break because the doctor knew he wasn't giving me the correct lens, but to try it out. She said "you waited too long, now you have to pay $50". Retention clearly isn't a priority for this office. I will be switching. I know it was my fault, but its not like I called 6 months later. Any how, take what you may from my review, I will not be going back to this office. read more

I will never return...the staff is rushed..and will not give you a complete prescription for the glasses and exam you just paid for., they only will fill out a partial prescription and this includes the one they give you for free AND the copy you pay for so you cannot get a second pair of glasses from elsewhere read more

From the curb, this place looks like it's going to be teeny tiny. Don't be fooled, they have a massive office, and tons of frames. I was impressed with their pretty darn good selection, clean office, and nice staff. I didn't end up finding what I was looking for, but I think this will be where I head back to when I'm up for my next eye exam. FAR better than the place I had my exam in 2011. read more

This place will make you sign your signature on a document to release your own ordered glasses, but will refuse to provide you with a copy of the document you just signed. You will also be charged $1.50 for a copy of your receipt and $1.50 for a copy of your prescription. read more

Do not go to this place it is absolutely terrible they will make you an appointment and then when you show up with the appointment date and time and your medical information will turn you away with a simple I'm sorry.... they will not make an exception to fit you in even knowing it is their mistake that they overbooked and did not honor your appointment.... it is possible they even move appointments around at their own discretion please beware! I had a health navigator from my medical insurance company call on speaker phone and make the appointment for me and provided all of my medical information for me and my three children and yet and still when I showed up they said my appointment was moved to the following Friday after checking my children out of school.... just terrible don't waste your time! read more
