I've literally never written a yelp review but today is the day because this place was absolutely amazing! So my day started out with an appointment over at Pacific Eye Institute and they dilated my eyes after like 2 hours of sitting there and then preceded to tell me false information about my eyes and eyesight. I had originally gone to get a simple prescription and apparently they didn't do that so I left with eyes dilated with no sunglasses because they weren't given to me and I felt hopeless. I decided why not try this place where other members of my family have been going since I needed glasses like ASAP. I wish I knew this lady's name but sadly I do not; she helped me get a prescription AND frames AND ALL WITHIIN 1 HOUR! I had a hard time picking out frames at first but EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THIS PLACE STOPPED TO HELP ME PICK OUT A CUTE PAIR! And although I can't name anyone specific because I simply don't remember their names, everyone was very kind, warm hearted, and super helpful to not only me but also their other patients. 10/10 would recommend and I swear I'm not going anywhere else! read more

I usually don't leave reviews, but I feel like it's important to share my experience. I feel it's also important to mention I've been coming to Jintau since I was a little girl and have never experienced this before. I went in to request contact lens samples for my mom, and from the start, the front desk was not welcoming. One young lady was helpful but then she got busy and Jennifer came to finish me up. She began with not be able to locate her file, which was already concerning. Especially since we come all the time and even last time they couldn't find her file. When I mentioned that my mom really needed the samples, Jennifer made an unnecessary comment about "just buy the boxes then" instead of providing the sample boxes they had available. Her tone came off dismissive and rude. Throughout the visit, Jennifer continued to be unprofessional. My mom had been told earlier that morning over the phone that she could purchase just a pair, but in person Jennifer told me that wasn't allowed. Instead, she insisted my mom would need to purchase full boxes for over $250, and only then would she consider giving samples. She even said directly, "We don't do free stuff, we're a business." Which makes 0 sense if we're asking to purchase them? I even mentioned that the lady from the morning said she could, it would've been nice she did it for us this time and then mention it couldn't happen again. Again, I fully understand that businesses need to make money, but the way this situation was handled lacked empathy, professionalism, and respect. The attitude and contradictions left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome. This experience has made me question whether I would want to continue coming here at all. On another note, I love Two and am so sad I had to experience this and loose my doctor who I have felt comfortable with my entire life due to a rude desk lady. read more

Me and my family have been going here since 2016 and I've been here over 20 time. Each time I've been there, I've encountered bad customer service from the receptionists. Apart from that, the optometry service itself is not bad. read more

Terrible experience from the front desk the people are extremely rude and have attitude, they are very unprofessional and the optometrist himself is also very rude he himself has an Attitude when I told him I have astigmatism he said no you don't even though I been diagnosed by two different optometrist in the La area. I went there for 3 years only because they take walk ins but the last time I went I told them I need my glasses to have the antireflective coating for Astigmatism the optometrist said you don't need that and plus your insurance doesn't cover it even though i had confirmed with iehp that they do cover as long as I needed . I also found out that as part of my contacts exam prescriptions which I paid out of pocket they were supposed to include two boxes of contacts which I was never given for last 3 years only found because one of the new receptionist slipped up and told me. But overall do not go here there's plenty of more reasons they lie, gossip, in front of people and are very argumentative with the customers. read more

This place is very disorganized and quality of work is below standards. Recently I had a pair of dun glasses made there and I had to take them back 3 times due to the quality of lenses they used. I then asked for a copy of my perscription and they told me they could not locate my file. And told me they would text it to me. I never received it. I will not be going back. read more

I went there I was sorry I did the DR did the exam and didn't explain anything just they will help you over there and the staff was rude I went over to the girl behind the counter and she showed me the selection that I had and sat behind the desk and started texting ignoring me when I picked the frame she did the measurements which were wrong long story short I had to go back 3 times before they got it right I would never go back read more

The office is way too busy and cramped. People go through here like herds of cattle. Not sure how sanitary it is, and one customer who walked in was clearly stoned and reeked of marijuana. Dr doesn't provide much details about your eye health. They misplace my chart a lot. I was overcharged for a simple pair of distance sunglasses. ($500) It was basically robbery. I've learned my lesson. Nothing personal, I just don't feel this is the right place for me anymore. read more

My husband has been coming here for a while, I was new to this office. First of I want to say that the 3 females that work in the front office are super helpful and amazing and they are the only reason this place runs smoothly and customer service is great. The manager on the other hand, who is the wife of the doctor has the worst customer service, she yelled at me on the phone because I politely asked her to slow down when she was explain because I could not understated. I went in after because one of the girls took over the phone call and she was super helpful. There were customers there that witnessed me getting yelled at on the phone, I requested for both my husband and my glasses and exam to refunded to us and we would take our business elsewhere. When I showed up the manager left knowing I was coming and I had to wait longer because she is the only one that could refund my money. I'm a very patient and understanding person but I'm not going to tolerate being yelled at, you can not get upset for being asked to slow down when speaking so we can understand you and then start yelling at people... we are not deaf we can hear you just fine the problem is you are speaking to quickly and you have a heavy accent. Nothing wrong with that at all but you should be aware of this, I did not insult this woman nor call her names and I continued to just ask her if I could speak to someone else. I got my money back and now I have to call my insurance to reverse my glasses claims in order to go elsewhere. As you can see we waited a long time for our glasses to be completed which they never were and mine came back with thick glasses because I myself am blind and I paid extra, well they were not thin. They charge you for sample contacts $20!! SAMPLES ARE FREE, if you come here come patient and speak to a non owner person and be prepared to pay for breathing their air at this place. read more

I live in San Diego area and during this time I couldn't find any place that would let me place a order for my prescription here in SD I couldn't even try glasses on. Laura was able to run my insurance and walk me through the whole process being that I don't live in Hesperia , I sent them my Rx , They placed my order, Dr shipped glasses to me , recieved them in 2 days.I LOVE Them!! This place is still great! I went here a few years ago and needed to upgrade my glasses so I kept this place in mind. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I get nervous real easily about everything and nothing but the young lady that helped me was so kind and made me feel more at ease. The doctor was fast BUT he did take time with me and made sure I was comfortable during the exam. Overall it was a great experience. The wait time for my glasses to be complete is going to take a while which is understandable because of the upcoming holiday as well as things being slow in general like everything else. I don't mind waiting since I currently have glasses to get by on for now. Great place great people. read more

Bad customer service. Made an appointment for my kids and got skipped several times by elder lady at desk. When I informed her that we had our appointment at 3:30 and was now past 4:00 she didn't seem to be too happy. I went ahead and informed her she had skipped us twice already. That just made her more upset. So I said to her well if it wasn't so crowed in here and there were more seats I would gladly wait. They had like 20 people and around 8 chairs. Too overcrowded! Plus the Dr. didn't even wait for me when they did finally call my kids in. Who does that?! My kids are too small to understand if he even tried to explain anything to them. This is the worst eye doctor to go to the front desk lady she's a bitch and she always has the worst attitude ever and never talks with respect or manners. You're better off going to Walmart or Costco or target same price better service better quality and there's scammers They will not refund you if somethings wrong with your lenses or glasses, or replaced them do not go there save your money. read more

So today was actually my first time here and i have to admit that i was beyond happy with the customer service I received while being their. Xiomara was amazing in helping me out when i arrived and got me started on all my paperwork. After that she went ahead and did some exams before sending me off to the actual dr. Once everything was done she helped me choose out a pair of glasses that would be best fit for me. I have to say that my overall experience here was Fantastic!! Thank you very much. read more

Switched from Vision Center in the mall to here!! Way happier here, so much more affordable, not to mention Xiomara and Laura are the most helpful and the absolute sweetest! Amazing customer service from all the staff there but especially Xiomara and Laura. Dr. Two was able to fit me with contacts that actually work for me. I have crappy eyes and astigmatisms so contacts are easy for me to get. At vision center they were only ever able to get me 80% of my contact prescription. Dr. Two worked it out for me to be able to get 100% of my prescription for contacts. So happy to have more options how. Sometimes glasses aren't ideal so I'm happy to have my new contacts. Overall I'm very happy with the service here. I look forward to coming back and working with all the wonderful staff to get these eyes working right for me. read more

The worst dr and office I have ever been to. Glasses came back wrong made me very sick, left them there,told my insurance they would not charge me, so I can go else where. Well they got paid and did not reimburse my carrier now I can't go else where. I would say if your looking for a good eye place don't go their. Again Dr. Two and office staff is the worst. I've had to wait over a month now for these glasses and still don't have them this is starting to get ridiculous and not only that they called and said both mine and my dads are done but when I did go there to get my glasses they had my dads and mine weren't done. 5 STARS!!!I'm a truck driver and was set to leave otr within the week. Every else I went to inquire about my glasses prescription told me it would take up to a minimum of 2 weeks to get them. I didn't have even a week to spare. Not to mention everywhere I was being charged well over $250 for glasses. Showed up here because of a referral. And I gotta say. I was damn surprised and the staff was very kind and helpful. Got quoted half what everyone else wanted and a faster delivery time. My glasses arrived within 4 days. Got eye exam and purchased glasses. Two weeks after purchase frame spontaneously broke around lens. Took back and they replaced. Three weeks later...broke again. When questioned, they admitted they knew there was a problem with this specific frame. But refused to replace with different frame at no additional cost to me. I had to pay full price for new frame. Completely bogus. They sold me a frame they knew had issues, then charged me again when I demanded a new frame. Go anywhere else as these people won't stand behind the products they sell even when they know the product is flawed. read more
