The workout is challenging. I was consistently dripping sweat throughout the class. The class consist of combination of running on the treadmill and strength training with weights/resistance bands. Pros + Parking is free for 90 minutes + amenities!! Showers, ouai shampoo/conditioner, hair ties, etc. + lockers on first floor and upstairs for women's bathroom. no locks needed Cons - the classes are expensive. Wish they would be more affordable, even with ClassPass. - AC was not working that day I went. Instructor mentioned that is not normal. So he had to open the doors for air. Can't wait to return!

I first tried Barry's a very long time ago at the Irvine spectrum- maybe close to 15 years ago and I loved it. Fast-forward to 2020 when I found out that it was opening up in Pasadena I was really excited to get back into it. I work locally so I was even invited to the opening party but it was the week of the pandemic shutdown and due to personal reasons I didn't get to return regularly until last fall. I've been going once a week for over 6 months now so I can give a thorough review. I've lost about 10 lbs but gained lots of muscle endurance, and confidence. Staff 10/10. Very much a community feel. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Instructors are solid. Matt is my fave. Facility- amazing. Equipment is great. Always feels clean. Love the locker room and amenities. Workout: Challenging and well rounded. Energetic motivating vibes. Good music. Iconic red lighting. Additional great things- smoothie bar, special events/partnerships, motivating challenges, plenty of parking in front and in back, good overall location, lots of sales/specials, easy to book and check in on app.

oh my god I LOVEEE this location so much, I originally took a Barry's class for the first time when I was in miami over thanksgiving break and loved the environment and how the classes were set up. When I got back to LA, I downloaded class pass and took a free class at this location (pasadena is the best in the LA metro area in my honest opinion.) I bought the packs that were offered for first timers and the timing was great because I then bought the winter sale pack. if you wanna save a lot of money I recommend buying classes during the winter sale. As Lindsey always tells me, people usually regret only buying one of the winter sale packs (6-month). I am one of those people right now haha. I only bought one and I only have a couple left. Learned from that mistake and I'll be buying two this year. I love the trainers here, genuinely I never thought I would have the connection I do with them, shoutout to Erika and Logan!! love them so much!! Their classes are so GOOD! In my opinion they are difficult, but like in a really good way... the movements feel amazing and i'm always inspired to push myself during each class. The staff at this location has a special place in my heart. Lindsey, you are a literal shining star . full of positive energy and you give 110% to this location. I love Barry's. This location specifically is my favorite, I love seeing the familiar faces and the energy here is unmatched. I've been to the studio city location but it just does NOT compare.

Barry's Pasadena has become a second home for me. Every location has it's vibes and never disappoints, but this location is extra special to me! These faces have been through so much with me and I can't speak to the level of gratitude for them. The coaches are incredible: Anna, Matt, Maggie, Logan, Erika and Ianthe deliver every single time! The management leaders Roger and Lindsey invest in this location like it's their own. It's clear the love they have for Barry's Pasadena when you see them go over and beyond for us! Most recently Lindsey pulled off the best United We Barry's Pride day! The magic with the entrance to the studio was epic! You had music, colorful streamers, popsicles, beverages and snacks! OH SO CUTE! It's clear she wanted us to have the best kick off and she completely nailed it! If you're on the fence with Barry's the investment is SO worth it! The workouts. The fit family. The goal crushing you'll do is a reason why I'm officially hooked forever! I also love I can workout with you pretty much all over the world! #1 Barry's Pasadena Fan baby! XO ChatGPT Barry's Pasadena has truly become a second home for me. Every Barry's location brings its own unique energy, but there's something extra special about Pasadena. The people, the atmosphere -- it all just clicks. These faces have stood by me through so much, and I honestly can't express the depth of gratitude I feel. The coaches? Next level. Anna, Matt, Maggie, Logan, Erika, and Ianthe bring the fire every single time. Their dedication, energy, and heart are unmatched. And the leadership? Roger and Lindsay pour themselves into this location like it's their own. You can feel the love they have for Barry's Pasadena -- in the details, the events, the everyday experience. They go above and beyond, always. Case in point: United We Barry's Pride Day. Lindsay absolutely nailed it. The studio entrance was pure magic -- music, colorful streamers, popsicles, snacks, beverages -- all the vibes! It was clear she wanted to make it unforgettable, and she did just that. If you're on the fence about trying Barry's, let me say this: the investment is SO worth it. The workouts. The fit fam. The goals you'll crush. The global community. I'm officially hooked for life. Forever your #1 Barry's Pasadena fan, baby! XO #BarrysPasadena #FitFam #UnitedWeBarrys #PrideStrong

Barry's is a fun HIT workout class. Located in Pasadena and has a free 90 mins parking lot in the back. I booked a Barry's class through class pass to try out. The facility itself is well maintain and clean. I went to the front to check in to the class since it was my first time. The staff was really friendly and went over how to use the treadmills. Once the class starts, you walk inside this dark red room filled with treadmill and weights stations. The music itself can get pretty loud in class but they do offer ear plugs in the front. There's a towel for everyone to use at their own station which is nice. The instructor was Matt, he was very energic and encouraging us to push ourselves. The class is a 50 mins HIT class where there is cardio & weight training . It was such a fun workout where I sweated a ton and burned a good amount of calories. Amenities: There's lockers outside of the classroom where people can place their personal belongings. No need to bring your own lock, the locker itself are the ones where you can set your own 4 passcode. There are also lockers in the restrooms as well. The shower amenities are pretty nice as well, there's OUAI's facewash, body wash, shampoo and conditioners for you to use. There are clean towels, leave in conditioners, lotion, q-tips, bobby pins and a dyson hair dryer. The women's locker room/shower was one of the cleanest facility I've ever been to for a gym. There is a smoothie bar in the front as well where you can order. I have not tried it but I'll get it next time. Overall, it's definitely a class that is worth trying out. I can't wait to be back to take the other classes.

This is a great workout class. If this was the only thing that you were working on, I would recommend taking this class at least 2-3 times to feel productive. It's a 50 minute class that starts punctually every time. Half the time, you're on the treadmill either walking, jogging, or sprinting. The instructor will tell you what speed is recommended in easy, medium, and hard difficulty. The other half the time, you're doing floor workouts with a bench. There's dumbbells and resistance bands that are often used in the workouts. It's nice that the instructors are motivating and will sometimes spot you to ensure that you're doing the workout right. Fuel Bar: The protein shakes are quite pricy at about $10-12. You can order them before your class and have it readily made by the time you complete your workout. I got the Matcha Made in Heaven. It's not bad but it was my first time trying one of their drinks and I thought that the protein powder taste was quite strong. Amenities: There's lockers with a passcode that you can set yourself. It's really simple and there's large and small lockers to put everything you need. They offer mini things to assist with your workout such as hair ties, mints, and ear plugs if needed. The bathrooms are also really bright and clean. Parking: There's a huge shared parking lot in the back. It's free for the first 90 minutes which is perfect, since the class runs for an hour. Pricing: It's quite expensive to get a consistent membership here. It's roughly over $30 per class. This is the biggest con that stops me from getting a membership, but I try to use promotions and ClassPass.

I felt like family right when I walked in.

I did my first class today and let me tell you... it definitely won't be my last! I booked a last minute class at the Pasadena location. The whole morning drive to Barry's was gut wrenching. I'm an avid gym rat but this cardio thing is foreign to me. I was greeted by some extremely attentive and courteous staff members right when I walked in. Alex was incredibly welcoming to me as I hung around the fuel bar. Kathrine checked me in and walked me through the entire process. I felt like such a beginner! However, she made me feel at ease and was there every step of the way. She definitely went above and beyond for the 10:50am class! While doing the workout, I absolutely loved it. Regulars aren't lying when they say to go at your own pace. I took that advice and powered through the 50 minute class. Scott was the trainer for this session and he was incredible. Not only was he motivating, but he also creates that encouraging "push-you-to-your-limits". I walked out with my back drenched. I want to give a big thank you to all the staff members and a shoutout to Barry's business model. Keep up that high standards of fitness. You guys are doing the world a favor. I'll be back soon!

first time to Barry's in Pasadena recently! The staff was so nice and welcoming! They had a Lotta unique apparel, their studio felt like being on a set, and I was able to work out with some kick ass instructors. Looking forward to visiting again, they also have protein shake samples also.

The classes are indoors and people are not wearing masks. They don't check for proof of vaccination. They also are not social distancing.

Since F45 is a franchise, it's pretty fun to think that people across the world are doing the exact same workout as we are here in Pasadena. When traveling to different states, or even other countries, I've been able to visit studios there and I love the familiarity of it. There's no awkwardness or intimidation factor since it feels like home. The Pasadena studio is family-owned and the owners, Gabe & Michelle, take feedback and concerns seriously. They're always looking for ways to make the experience better and I love that personal touch. They've put a huge emphasis on building community among the members so that the studio isn't just a place to exercise but a place to form friendships. The coaches at Pasadena make the effort to get to know the members personally and are super friendly and motivating. They push you but are also sensitive to injuries or limitations and are able to provide modifications, if needed. When I don't feeling like getting out of bed and over to class, I know I can count on them to be there energized & ready to go. Thank you, F45 Pasadena!

This allows me to sufficiently warm up and I feel like I'm getting the most out of my workout. You only switch once during the combo so I definitely can take my time and do quality reps. Game changer and much better use of space. I've been liking this new format because it added room for the strength and weight-training portion of the class. For me, I still average around 2-3 miles per Combo class and that's perfect for me. This new format helps me hit more muscle groups than before! I also like the screens showing the strength moves on the strength side so it's easier to remember. Instructors and staff are all still amazing and welcoming. Definitely a class worth checking out!

Committing to just one gym is difficult when each person goes through their productive, creative, or hibernation periods. I've wanted a place that made me look forward to going and not finding reasons to skip out. After some time with ClassPass, a 45-day workout challenge and a dozen-full of memorable buddy pass classes later, I finally made a decision I've been happy with since. Basecamp for the win. Love their lower to upper to full body workout schedule, the alternation between cardio and strength, the change/rotation of class layouts, their equipment, and of course, the instructors and team themselves. Special appreciation for the 9am goers because they became a solid community for me when I was going through some post-grad life transitions and turbulence. Somehow, when I was considering what to properly invest in while sacrificing to save money from other things, this was a good alternative investment that has sparked back some love for workout classes again. If you're looking for the best classic style Crossfit gym, then definitely don't go here. This place is only but a shadow of its former self. Since the current owners unaffiliated the gym from the brand, the programming and membership has taken a sharp decline. They incorporated classes that resembled more of a base camp or something Hyrox adjacent. No one really cared about the brand of CrossFit, we cared for the workouts, and sadly those are long gone. Feedback that was given to the owners went ignored for too long and eventually it became too late. There's been a mass exodus of loyal and competitive members since then and the atmosphere just doesn't feel the same anymore.
