The Dr. didn't give me any problems, rechecking them and ordering a new pair. I didn't know that until AFTER I picked out my glasses. The Dr. though was nice and patient and honored my request to not shine bright lights into my eyes.

Out of courtesy, I explained that I didn't want to come in and risk getting anyone else sick. Instead of understanding, the woman who handles the appointments spoke to me with a very rude attitude, told me she had to "talk to the doctor" because it was my second cancellation, and then yelled at me not to come before hanging up the phone. This is not how patients should be treated. Life happens, and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled--especially for health reasons. I was actually willing to come in if needed, but I thought I was doing the right thing by protecting others. To be treated so poorly and dismissed so harshly was shocking and unprofessional. I do not like going to Oceanside. I had an awful high school experience and I get an eerie feeling whenever I have to go there. With all that being said, I had an unpleasant experience at Nassau visions today. My girlfriend came with me today to Nassau visions because I do not like driving to places by myself. I had to wear my girlfriend's glasses to drive. I told the three receptionist (I'm not sure why there's three people there) that I had to wear her glasses. There was no comment made about me wearing her prescription lenses at that time. Anyways, I go to the back with the optician. When I come out of the optician, I saw my girlfriend very upset. I ask her what's wrong. She says, she will tell me later. Yada yada I pick my glasses out and sample contacts. Pay for it and leave. I come to find out from my girlfriend later that the THREE receptionists ganged up on my girlfriend and gave her sh*t about her letting me drive and I shouldn't be wearing her glasses. My girlfriend doesn't even have her license. There was no one else who could get me to the appointment except me and I wasn't paying for an Uber because I feel totally FINE driving. It wasn't a problem. I do not know who these elitist, bogus, hateful, disgusting, and meaningless tyrants think they are. I'm through being talked down to and that includes my girlfriend. I'm 22 years old man not a 5 year old kid. How dare you connive and wiggle your worm-self into making my girlfriend very upset and angry. What good does it do?
